Most items purchsed with your Apple ID can't be permantently deleted from the purchase history. However you can hide them.

Is there a way to permanently delete unwanted music from everything?
I am trying to segregate out music that tagged along for the ride when I first opened an iTunes account years ago that belongs to someone I am no longer with. Is there a way to do this even in the cloud, so that it won't show up on any of my devices?

I have 2 apple id's (unfortunately), and the one i wanna get rid of has an icloud email address as an alias that i would like to use on my new apple id as a regular email. Is there any way to do this? I deleted the alias from my old account but its somehow still linked.
I'm afraid you can't transfer an alias (even if deleted) to another account, or make it into an ID itself; and once deleted it can never be reactivated.

I am not familiar with IPad usage but wondered if there is a way to remove all my emails without removing everything else, ie: photos, songs..? Does a restore erase everything? Thanks!
I cannot delete an email address that was also an Apple ID for awhile. It keeps coming up as an "email return to" address on compose in gmail.
As a result, I removed all mention of it in my keychain and cancelled it in Google. I called Apple support and for awhile was able to use time
machine to restore it, then lost all my addresses again. My iPad mini has addresses on it but I'm concerned that if it syncs with my Macbook Air
the iPad addresses will disappear also. How can I prevent an unwanted sync? -

is there any way to permanently delete the downloads in tunes that start everytime I open iTunes?

With Snow Leopard if you delete a file (put it the trash) and then do a secure delete it's gone.
The OP is adressing SSD's in particular. Neither Snow Leopard nor Lion have the ability to secure erase an SSD of a single file by user action. This because SSD's write data in pages, but can only delete in blocks. Secure emptying of the trash on an SSD is no different than a non-secure erase, as the controller will not permit erasure of blocks until the entire block is freed, which is almost never the case with even group file deletion. Erasure is simply the re-writing of the "allocation table" that the pages are no longer in use.
SSD's are only rendered "erased" of previous data after an indeterminate period of use, and re-use that would eventually free blocks for re-write, and then actually over-written.
TRIM helps speed this process, but does not alleviate the block versus page issue.

How do I permanently delete unwanted purchases from my ibooks/ Apple ID?
You can't permanetly delete any item from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them via your computer's iTunes so that they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
You can delete downloaded ibooks from the bookshelf in the iBooks app on your device via the Edit button at the top of the bookshelf -
Is there a way to permanently delete your skype history?
I know you can clear all of your skype history within the settings, however if you reinstall skype, the history always comes back. Is there a way to completely, permanently remove the history? Thanks
Turning off iCloud will not accomplish anything, unless you simply wish to sign out your AppleID for itunes adn app store. Then of course, you would not be able to purchase apps or other content.
Any itunes or App store purchases can be set to hidden, as ckuan instructs. These would not show up on your device. But no, there is not way to completely delete content purchases.

Is there a way to PERMANENTLY DELETE purchased songs from your iTunes/iTunes account
Hi
I have 11 purchased songs in my iTunes library. Since iOS7 i have not been able to remove these songs from my 3rd party music player.
I would like to permanently remove these songs from my iTunes account, my iTunes, my iPhone. I don't want to see these songs appear on any of my devices ever again.
Is there a way to remove these purchases permanently so they are no longer available/associated with my account?
Please! Any help is appreciated, this is seriously annoying.Turning off iCloud will not accomplish anything, unless you simply wish to sign out your AppleID for itunes adn app store. Then of course, you would not be able to purchase apps or other content.

Is there a way to permanently delete an iTunes purchase without downloading
I purchased several HD season passes to TV shows and it gives me both the HD and the standard def versions of the show to download every week. I don't want both nor do I want be required to download both.
Is there a way to stop permanently the download for either the HD or SD version of the show - instead of waiting for it to download and then deleting the one I don't watch?
Surely, this must exist! Not that I am aware.

Is there any way to permanently delete/disable keychain on 10.8?
Hey guys,
This is my first post in the Apple support forum.
I work in the I.T helpdesk office for a leading australian University.
Currently we have roughly 600 apple based computers running in our network, a problem i come across the most is the Keychain.
The company i work for has a policy that requires end users to change their passwords every 6 months, unfortunatly their login details are changed but their keychain is not thus creating password conflicts, account lockouts etc.
Is there any way i can just disable the keychain so its not required any more
Im pretty sure theirs not possible but it cant hurt to ask, theres a very strong chance that theres someone out there who's figured it outeven if that were possible, you wouldn't want to do that as Keychain stores numerous certificates, which are needed to verify the authenticity of secure connections.

My iPod Touch was stolen last night. Unfortunately, on my iPod was my e-mail account, which was synced to the "Mail" app. I don't want the thief to be able to access my e-mail, so I changed my e-mail password on Gmail.
But is there anything else I can do? I'm scared that even though I changed the password, the Mail app will still be able to access my Gmail account.
The same goes for Twitter, for me.
Thanks so much for your help in advance. You can wipe the iPod only if you had already set up ther FindMyiPod feature. and wifi is on and some other conditions are met.

Change the passwords for other accounts on the iPod
Unles you have a screen-lock passcode, the conents of your iPod will be available. to anyone with access to the iPod.
Report it to the police.
