To all people who read java2 in 21 days/ the java online tutorial

Hello. Basically, which one is better? It's easier for me to learn something when i actually do it, more than when i just read about it or see what happens. So based on that, which one would be better (if the java online tutorial has more stuff, I can still buy the professional 21 days one). Thanks a lot.

The tutorials at this site are nice. If you want a book, I suggest popping into a book store and browsing to find one you like. Some like Deitel and Deitel, some like Ivor Horton's books, some can get away with Java in a Nutshell.
Find one you like, get a nice text editor like PFE, and have fun.

This post is to help the people who have transfered music from the pc to the mobile and when they play it on there mobile they have it doubled the speed:
1. go to options, then settings
2.go to conversion tab and check the circle 'do not convert'
3.voila!
NOTE:This method might take some memory space equal to the original size of the song...

This isnt really a fix since the whole point of converting is to save space. The help is appreciated but this does not really help

ok, now, itll say to restor the ipod, blabla, then click restore, and the message that pops up, DONT CLICK OK YET!!!!!
it totally messes it uP!!!
instead, look at ur ipod screen. u should(hopefully), see a screen with the apple, and a little bar at the bottom that is filling up. wait till it fills up, then the screen will flash and whatnot, and then, when something happens, u will click ok. itll revert to factory settings and all, but u just have to sync ur ipod, and the music will go back in.
FOR THOSE OF U WHO R WORRIED ABOUT LOSING UR MUSIC, DONT WORRY, IT WONT BE LOST, U WILL STILL HAVE IT, TRUST ME COMPLETELY.

Is this a recurring problem with you're iPod? I have a 2nd Gen. Nano, hardly used, maybe twice and this has happened 3 times to me already. I get it to work and then at some point it happens again. How are you handling it or are you just dealing with the problem?

8.0.0.35 works fine on my 2 vista machines. I have no experience with the replacement for that, which I guess is 8.0.1. I'll sell you 8.0.0.35 (Not that some didn't have trouble with it also, but it's fine here). Oh, I should mention one problem I do have. When flipping through coverflow, 8.0.0.35 uses up memory all the way to 300,000kb at which point Vista issues a low memory warning. If I avoid coverflow browsing, I can leave iTunes open for hours.

AS the title suggests, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible for two different people to make edits to the same website if CS6 is installed on BOTH computers.

You can activate the check-out option in the configuration for your site.
Sites/Manage Sites. Then klick the name of your site and click the edit-pen.
Choose Servers, Click the name of the site and then the edit-pen again.
Finally choose the Advanced button and check the "Activate file check-out" box
and fill in name and email.
Now every time you or your partner works on a file on the remote-server
you get a little icon saying that so and so have checked in or out this file.
Also try the Design Notes under Advanced settings that can be handy when
working in a team.

TS1702 I purchased a book on my iPad and began reading it. One day, the content of the entire book was missing. I got an error saying encoding error. I have tried to sync with no success. Any suggestions?

Why did the content of my iPad book disappear? I have tried to sync with no succes in recovering. iTunes store does not have an option to re-download.

If the book is still available in the store then you should be able to delete it from the iBooks app via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf, and then re-download it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. Is the book still in the store, and does it appear in the Purchased tab ?

If it's Acrobat then technically, yes. But they should be for your use (such as your main workstation and a laptop or other portable) and not someone else.

Reminder email to people who have not responded to a survey

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to create a survey list with multiple Questions.And send these in an email as a link. and It has to pause for couple of days, then I need to find out who has not responded to the survey, and an email has to be triggered
only to those people.
As of now I have added a sharepoint group called KQSO-Survey User, also added a designer workflow on Survey, which sends email to all people who are listed in KQSO-Survey User, and It Pauses for 2 days.
But I am not really sure How do I find people from KQSO-Survey Group who have not responded to the survey and send only those users a reminder email.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Poonam,
You don't have to traverse through the SP Group to find people who have not filled the survey. You can look at the Tasks list. Once a task is completed, workflow is going to mark the Status as Completed. If you first group them by the Related Item, then
by Status, it will show you those who have completed and those that haven't for a particular Survey that you send out.
Remember that completing the survey and completing a task would be two separate things that users might have to do. This is my understanding.

Mark all emails as read

I see a lot of people with this question of how to mark all emails are read..
Here's the solutions:
you can mark all as read at one time....
1 go to email
2 click edit
3 choose one email
4 choose the mark button, but keep pushing the mark button
5 while holding down the mark button, uncheck that chosen email
6 release the mark button after a second or two
7 choose "mark as read'
