To branch to a new page in Smart forms after main window

I have three pages where on second pages main window so my data many be carry on next 3, 4, pages and my requirement is to display data(like notes ) on last page after all contain of main window .that last third page is different formatting on basis of company code lets 10 different pages. On second page in main window I write u2018commandu2019 and General Attributes, Tick Go to new page in. On the Determine the new page using the list box next to the checkbox. The output of the main window will continues on the new page of third pages. I did this for my all company like (command for 10 , command for 11u2026.).BUT also on second page option of next page in General Attributes. Where in can maintain next pages entry is single...if I put blank the error comesu2026thingu2019s 1) what should I have to maintain in second page for next page.
2) how I get data from multiple page design (I design 10 pages from that I want one should display):- I used condition option in command for company still getting error .
So kindly help me for such scenario.

My requirement in smartform is like
I'm using the tables to display the internal table data in main window .
based on SORTF field in the internal table ,when SORTF field value changes all the related to that SORTF value should be displayind in the new page.
Please anybody tell me that , how to do this?

Hi Navi,
    Try this Logic.
1) Go to Smartform,
2) Declare a flag variable w_flag type c
3)Go to Main Window
   a) Go to table
   b) Create one more Table Line
   c) Create a CODE Line in that.
       write inside CODE as Below:-
             CLEAR: w_flag.
             ON CHANGE OF w_final-sortf.
               w_flag = 'X'.
              ENDON.
   d) Create one COMMAND Under CODE line created above.
       click on check Box "Go to New Page" ( Page1 or Page2 or give as reqd ).
       click on conditions tabe of COMMAND
       write: w_flag = 'X'.

I am facing following Problem & need abaper help.
example:-
PO type is Service
Line item 10. Transportation 1 AU
under this activities
          01. Transportaion by Tree wheeler 3 Rs/ KM
          02. Transportaion by Four wheeler 8 Rs/ KM
          03. Transportaion by Heavy vehical 10 Rs/ KM

Sub services are,

Now I am seeing Print Preeview
Suppose line item 20 come in second page , in this case system copies sub services of firs line item
example : - system shows line item 20 in second page as shown below which is wrong.

          02. Transportaion by Four wheeler 8 Rs/ KM

hi ,
i think you are not clearing the Barcode variable once it has printed.
try declaring the variable like this in smartform,
BARCODE     TYPE     CHAR24
when one loop excecutes .and end of loop in command line clear this variable.

I have requirement of displaying each record of an internal table on individual pages.When iam trying to include command line inside the main of table its giving error saying explicit page breaks not allowed.Any pointers regarding this plzzz.

How to mention two different next pages in smart forms

In our scenario there is smart form in which we have one main window, after that we need to print two different pages one for instructions and other for delivery address.
In main window we can add a command and mention the condition for a next page e.g Instructions page. but for delivery address page we are unable to specify condition in main window or in secondary window in instruction page/main page.

Hi Ammad,
Create two pages(page2 and page3), page2 for printing the "Instructions" and second(page3) for "delivery address".
in the first page, at the end of main window create the command and specify as below
general attributes->check the go to new page check box->choose the page which u wanted to be print on the second(for your case it is page2).
In the page2->general attributes->next page->give "page3".

CREATION OF MULTIPLE PAGES IN SMART FORMS

I have a smart form in which i need to create 2pages.First will be followed by next and next by next
I created the first page and then i created the next page .
when i created first page i got a default main window and when i created a second page i.e the next page ,i did not get any default main window and when i tried to save it gives an error saying page without window cannot be saved.
WHEN I CREATED A WINDOW WITH MAINWINDOW BUTTON ENABLED IT SAYS ALREADY EXISTS AND TWO MAN WINDOWS CANNOT EXIST .cAN ANYONE PLS HELP ME OUT REGARDING THIS

1-go to smartforms
2-in a smartforms there is only one main window you can create,it is not like sap script that you can create 0 to 98 main windows,so on main window ll come bydefault but if you want to create another window that would be called as subwindow and that you can create by right click on the main window node and select create window.
3-After selectging the window one small window would arise over the main window screen , you can give any size of that window and on the right hand side of the window node you ll find three tab from there on general attribute would be there,from there you select secondary window ,because every second window other than the main window is called as secondary window.
now you can try like this it ll definitely work fine.

though i got SFSY structure during run time of smartform , even that was not useful.
&SFSY-FORMPAGES&
Displays the total number of pages for the currently processed form. This allows you to include texts such as'Page x of y' into your output.
for that Page &SFSY-PAGE& of &SFSY-FORMPAGES&
during debug of smart form i don't understand how it is calculating no of pages ,as i kept break point before printing page no in smart form.
please check my two screen shots, sfsy-formpage still contains current page no only but not total no of pages.

You will not get these values during debugging.. Let the program execute completely, you will get the right values.
As Manish said, the value for &SFSY-FORMPAGES& will be known only after all the pages are processed, though it is not necessary that you use them in the final window only. It can be a text node in a window of any type.
You will get the desired output, just cant see them during debugging within the program. At the time of printing or in the print review, output would be as expected.
Also, FYI, it would be better to give total pages as &SFSY-FORMPAGES(3ZC)& as there can be error if the total number of pages exceeds 9, due to lack of sufficient space to print more digits

On Hicherchy Platte , rightclick on Subform and select option new body page.
This way you can create body page for the particular subform.
if you want to create master page , right click on page 1 and select New master page.

The "new" Pages is missing just about everything.
Your best best is to go back to the old Pages (mavericks puts in in your applications folder in IWorks.
Apple told me that based on input from users they will add back some missing features back but I suspect that will take a long time if ever.
They (Apple) say they created a new Pages to make it work seamlessly on various devices.
But in doing so they've dumbed down the programs to where they're nearly useless.
Any new users who don't know what "old" Pages could do will probably be satisfied.
But those of us who use this program to do real publishing should send feed back to Apple.
Apple has decided that we are "heavy" users and not representative of the majority of their customers.
That's why I suspect that putting back the features in Pages will not be top priority.
But just in case they really do read the feedback send them your opinions and feature requirements and just maybe if enough people squawk they'll at least put the old Pages back in the App Store (it's gone now).
One possibility crossed my mind. If the new OS Yosemite can mirror devices, perhaps we'll be able to mirror the old pages on to our IOS devices than you could have the full capability of Pages and the connivence of an IPad or IPhone.
Wouldn't that be awesome?
At least in the presentation, it looked like it could work, we'll see.

How to Supress the Second Page in Smart form

I have First page where there is no Main Window and on the Second page is with Main Window.Now lets say if there is item detais then vlaue will be printed on second page but in case there is no Item details so..the second page should not come only the first page would appear i.e. we need ot supress this second page.

just use the command Describe table ITAB lines v_lines.
so v_lines <> 0 means items Exist.
so use this field in the condition
Define a Text ELEMENT for the MAIN window data
Before that text element put a condition based on the v_lines field.
/: IF V_LINES NE 0.
/E MAIN
/: ENDIF
So when you give print , if no data in internal table it won't print.

Trigger next page in smart forms

Hi Experts,
I need some adivce regarding this:
IN my first page main window i will display data in 3 columns ( each row of internal table will go in to a column).
If my internal table has more than 3 rows, i need to trigger next page and display only the main window with the same three columns ( This should continue triggering till the end of records in my internal table).
Can any one suggest me how i can accomplish this.
I know we can force the main window table to be filled up and trigger next page. Here i do not have any table to repeat lines etc.,

First of all convert your table to the 3 column internal table which you can specify to print the data in 3 columns.
To trigger the next page, adjust your main window height which can accommodate only one row of your main table. Or you can create a COMMAND to fire the next page after printing your line
MAIN
. TABLE " 3 column table
.. LINE
... CELL1
... CELL2
... CELL3
.... COMMAND " Next page

make sure u've specified da style in output options of text element as
TIMES 10 in style field and select da desired paragraph and charcter format in general attributes tab of da text element.activaTE AND CHECK.
if problem still persists u can ask again.
