To buy or not to buy... Help!
So I've been waiting and waiting to buy and iPhone but now I am ready to do it with the promise of v3.0.
My question is: should I purchase the 3G now or wait over the 3.0 release with hopes that an updated version of the phone will be released by then?

Last year, firmware update 2.0 was released on the same day as the iPhone 3G was released.
Apple may do the same this year, but there is no way to know this for certain until Apple makes an announcement.
You have waited all this time, so if you are able to wait a little longer until Apple announces when the next generation iPhone will be released and you are interested in that iPhone instead of the iPhone 3G, and you can wait until that iPhone is released, then wait.
If you are unable to wait for information and a date that isn't known yet, purchase the iPhone 3G now knowing you will be able to install firmware update 3.0 on your iPhone 3G when the update is released sometime this summer. This is up to you and you only regarding what you want/need, and what you are able to do. Wait for an unknown with an unknown date at this time, or purchase a known now knowing firmware update 3.0 will be released this summer.

iTunes is not letting me download certain songs from my phone or my computer. Keeps saying "Could not purchase "name of song." An unknown error occured (5002). Pricing hasnt been announced as far as I know, but the Apple Store said unlocked iPhones will be available in November. Seeing as its the 30th of October, maybe check back within the next week or two?

Have you changed countries since buying it, and is the app still available in your country's store ? If you've changed countries or it's been removed then you won't be able to redownload it - in which case do you have a copy of it in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library, or on your backup of your downloads/library, so that you can sync it back to your iPad ?
If it is still in the store and it's not showing in the Purchased tab in the App Store app for redownloading then check to see if it's hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. -
i save my photos to camera roll. then back up but can't see it on icloud. why? we just lost 300 photos on my other iphone because we do not get proper help. that's why i need to learn now.
You can't view your back up files at icloud.com.
You can't view your camera roll and you can't view your Photo Stream files at icloud.com.
The icloud back up plan allows you to "restore" your iOS device from the files you backed up at icloud.com. -
iTunes Store for Windows. Everytime I try an access the iTunes Store it takes really long to connect and then it says iTunes store cannot be access. I think I am up to date with iTunes Verison, I Have 11.0.2.26 but no matter what I try it does not connect. HELP Please???

I have 4s iPhone , I download the iOS 7. Now the front receiver microphone is not working , please help me that how to fix the problem.
I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

Problm with 'notepad' code..image of the buttons not displayed..help.. ;-(
I have a source code for developing a notepad but the problem is that when i run it the buttons which i've used as shortcuts don't have there photos displayed on them... they just come across as a rectangular button rather than a cut or a copy photo...i've even saved those images in the c drive only where other files like .class file are stored still its not working...plz help...

1) Programming is an exercise in precision. When you communicate here (or anywhere) about programming issues and questions, you want this communication to be as clear as possible to avoid any chance for ambiguity. That being said, what are the full paths of: your image files, your class files, and what package is your program in?
In that same package, what happens if you compile and run this program?
