To change "Default Report Settings"

Hello All,
In the interactive report, I am wondering to change “Default Report Settings”.
Thanks in advance,
EB NY

Make sure you're logged into the builder as a developer, pick the columns you want, filters, ordering...etc. When you are done, click Save Report - developers have the option of saving default report settings.
Again you will only see this option if you are logged into the builder.

  • Changing default printer settings in SAP Portal

    Hi,
When i am trying to print the report in SAP Portal, the default page setting is A3 , i need to change it to 8.5 * 11 inches.
    Is it possible??
    Thanks
    Janc

    Hi,
You can change the Page Settings in your Internet Explorer.
    File --> Page Setup.
    Try doing this.
Are you on BI 3.5 or 7.0?
Also, you are using the Query Designer or WAD ?
In WAD7.0 you can Export the Template with the Query and set the size as A4 or 8.5 x 11 inches.
While viewing the Query designer output also, you select the size. Default is A4.

  • Changing default cursor settings

    Hi,
I need to change the default cursor settings on an xy graph.  Currently the cursor positions itself at the beginning of each data set.  See attached.  You should be able to see the cursor displayed in bright yellow.  How do I change the default conditions for displaying the cursor at the beginning of each data set from say: 04:19:38 PM, 09/28/12, (as in the attached example) to say: 04:19:38 PM, 09/28/11.  I just changed the two digit year - to keep it simple!  Thank you.  John

    Hi John,
It sounds like you may not have your VI updating to show changes to controls when they are changed. I would recommend using an event structure in a while loop to poll for changes to the cursor and update them on the graph. I attached an example I wrote (opens in LabVIEW 2010 and more recent) to show you what I am talking about.
It is hard for me to understand what you are talking about with the small snippets of your code I am seeing. If you have further questions, please post an entire VI (or a smaller example VI that reproduces the issue) so it will be easier to help you.

  • How to change default browser settings?

I was able to fix the problem with the crashing by updating Safari.

  • Change Default Import Settings

This has bugged me for a while now. I have created an Import Preset to import my photos to my "F" drive. Works perfectly but sometimes...the import Preset reverts to the original Lightroom Import setting which imports to my "C".drive. If I right click on my Import Preset, my Import to "F" is checked.
How can I prevent LR4 from reverting to the default import settings and is there anyway to either remove the old default altogether or make my Import to "F", my default?
    Bob

I found a previous post that appears to work.  Since the netbook doesn't show an OK in the preference window, I just had to hit enter to accept and change the setting.
    Thanks to all.

  • Change default print settings in PS

I was wondering if anyone knows how I could change the default print settings so that crop marks and labels are turned on by default.  I've tried using automator, and making an action but haven't had any luck.  Thanks.

    anyone??
It would also be nice to have a default set of commands under print settings, like paper size, media type, color management, etc.

  • Change default MIDI settings in Logic.

    Hi there,
Just bought Yamaha DTXplorer digitals drums. When I record the MIDI part in Logic Pro 8, it doesn’t play the right notes concerning BD, SN and so on. Is it possible to change the default MIDI settings in Logic so it fit to the Yamaha DTX – or other applications?
Thanks for your help – KGL.

There is not really any such thing as "default MIDI settings". Logic just gets the notes you play from your controller, and sends them to whatever other instruments you are using.
Does the DTX not use GM mapping? If not, I'd suggest you alter the notes it sends to be more suitable for your needs.
You can use Logic to remap notes in realtime (in a variety of ways, using environment transformers or mapped instruments) and this is the more flexible way of doing it, if you are comfortable with environment routing and so on.

  • Change default table settings

How do I change the default table settings in Pages? I usually want 2 columns without headings or borders, and it always defaults to 3 columns with headings and borders.

You need to create your own default template. Open the blank template & insert a table, click in it & choose the font, size, color, etc. you want in the fonts panel or format bar. You can do similar changes to inserted objects & text boxes. While you're at it resize the box if you want, set the amount of extra space in the wrap inspector, etc. Delete each text box, object & table after you've set them. Now, save this document as a template & select that template as default in preferences. If you decide to make any changes to the template down the road, just Save As Template again with the same name & replace the previous version.
Now, save this as a template then, in Pages > Preferences, select this template as the default for new documents. All of your new documents will have these settings for inserted objects, images & tables. Unfortunately, the settings won't apply to any other templates or "foreign" documents you open with Pages.
About the only thing you can’t set a template to do is remember to show invisibles & the window position. It is possible to get a template to show invisibles when opened, if you want. Save this document as a document then, in the Finder, change the extension from .pages to .template & put it in your My Templates folder in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates.Set up your document with the line spacing, margins, headers, etc. as you'd like. Redefine all of the paragraph & character styles to have your desired font.

  • Changing default subscription settings

    Hello all,
According to <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?threadID=37365">this SDN forum post</a> from 2005, it is not possible to change the default subscription settings.
With EP7, is this still the case?  I can't find any documentation on doing this... so I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst.
    Thanks in advance,
    Fallon

    Hello Pradeep,
When I display the 'subscribe' command in a layout set, the user can click it to subscribe to a folder.  However, it uses the default subscription settings automatically when the user clicks that command.  Then the command changes to "Edit Subscription" where the user can modify their subscription settings... but I'd like to be able to control what the default settings are that are taken on that first click.
    Thanks for your reply,
    Fallon

  • Changing default render settings?

    On CS5.
Every time I render it's reset to the default seetings.
Is there some way to change the default, or save and easily recall settings?
    Cheers!

As Mylenium says, using render settings templates and output module settings templates is the way to go. Here is some more information, including how to set your templates as the defaults:

  • How do i change default printer settings

    Hi
I have an Epson Photo PX720WD.
When I print photos directly from Finder they always print on the A4 plain paper I have in the tray rather than the 6 x 4 photo paper I want them to. The print option in Finder doesn't give me any opportuntiy to select settings like, for instance, iPhoto.
I don't want to import all pics into iPhoto as i like being able to print them from Finder so does anyone know how I can change the settings, preferably to make the 6 x photo setting the deafult?
    Thanks in advance
    Steve

    Hi Eustace
thanks for the reply.......I'm on 10.7.5 but I think the issue is that I'm not printing from an App, I want to print direct from Finder and when I select cmd/p or go through the file menu and select print the dialogue box doesn't appear or isn't an option.
On all Apps that I've printed from cmd/p brings up the dialogue box or going to the file menu the print option looks like this:
    Print....
Direct from Finder there are no dots meaning no dialogue box will appear.
I have about 50 pics I want to print so if I can change the default settings then I can simply cmd/p every time knowing that they'll print the way I want them.
I would also like to change the default settings as I print pics about 95% of the time so it's less hassle to change it when I want a plain A4 print.
    Any ideas?!!
    Thanks again
    Steve

  • Changing default Display Settings

How can I change my default settings on the Display Performance? I want to change my default settings so that it always shows "High Quality Display."

You can change them for all new files by going to the Dispaly Performance section of the application prefs. Exixting docs can be changed from the View menu.

  • How Can I Change Default Zoom Settings For Safari?

I just got my new iMac and hate the fact that everytime I open Safari everything is small and centered directly in the Safari screen.  How can I change the default settings so it either zooms in more or is in a landscaped mode so I don't have two big white patches on the sides of my window?

The only way I know of, (and that I use) is as follows:
Open textedit and create a new document.
Add the following 3 lines to the file
    body {
    zoom: 175%
Save the file as "somename.css". I called mine defaultzoom.css and saved it in Documents.
In Safari go to Preferences | Advanced.
In the Style sheet: dropdown box choose "other" and browse to the location of your somename.css file.
That's it, now webpages will open with the default zoom level you used in the file (I use 175% but you need to tweak it for your screen size). Also, I do run into situations where some pages don't render correctly. If that happens you can go back to Safari | Preferences | Advanced and change the Style sheet dropdown box to none until you are done viewing that paticular website. Then just put it back when you are done.
