TO CHANGE ID FOR ICLOUD -
I just did the update for iOS7, I would like to change ID that email will be discontinued in one month but I cannot do it, I went in setting, iCloud, delete account.
Do I have to change my iPad ID first to change

To fix this problem, follow the steps below:
1. Go back to Manage Your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old Apple ID - don't verify the email address, it is not necessary for this procedure
2. Go to your device to Settings>iCloud, and click on Delete at the bottom of the screen
3. It will ask you for your password for that old ID to turn off Find My iPhone - type in the current password that you have set up for your current (not the old) Apple ID
4. That should then turn off Find My iPhone and allow you to delete the iCloud account - when it asks if you want to save your Contacts on your phone, say "Yes" if you are going to want to merge them with your new iCloud account
5. Go back to Manage Your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to your current Apple ID
6. Go back to your device and under Settings>iCloud, sign on with your new Apple ID. Merge your contacts if you have elected to do so
You should be all set.

I changed my apple id, but my ipad does not allow me to change it for Icloud, so I can't edit my account so I can access Icloud. I was told at Apple store that I could use both Apple ids, but my old one is no longer recognized on the appleid website, so my password for my old apple id won't work.
Any suggestions?If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -
I have changed my e-mail address on the apple ID website and have been able to change it for ICloud. My e-mail address (ID) has not changed for I-tunes and therefore, I can't install updates. ??
If this is on your computer's iTunes then log out via the Store > Sign Out menu option and then log back in with the updated version of your account. If on an iOS device then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out and then log back in.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account") -

The steps below can help get your iCloud account updated correctly.
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

My email changed quickly and I'm not sure how to change in iCloud. I was able to change iTunes, but not iCloud?
If you mean you need to change your iCloud ID on your device (which looks like an email address), go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -
If my email is rendered obselete how do I change my icloud id from my old internet address to my new one. I have tried setting up a new Apple ID but it won't change the icloud information.

Changing name for icloud account
I created an icloud account on my ipod but the apple ID I use had my dads name. So my icloud account got linked to my dad's apple account. I got a solution that I can unlink that email from the apple id buteven when i log in into icloud it shows my dads name. I tried to change it but every time I log in using my icloud account in apple it takes me to my dads account and my icloud email is not even in the email list there. it is not really unlinking my icloud account from my dads apple ID. Need help as I really like that email and I can't make any more icloud accounts from my ipod because it says I am not allowed to.

I changed my Apple ID on iTunes and have successfully changed it under the iTunes App Store on my iPad and iPhone, but have not figured out how to change it for iCloud. Do I have to delete the iCloud account (old ID) and set up a new one for the current Apple ID?
Thanks for your response. I've now tried deleting the account, but it prompts for the password to the old Apple ID. I tried both old and new passwords, but as expected, neither worked. I get a message that either the Apple ID or password is incorrect....not surprising since the old Apple ID is the problem to begin with! Any other suggestions?

Deleting the account only deletes it from your device, not from iCloud. Your data will reappear when you sign back in, assuming you are signing back into the same account with just a changed name. The only thing you might want to do before deleting the account is to your camera roll before deleting the account (by tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll).

I changed my Apple ID to my new email address successfully for the iTunes and App store but it won't work for iCloud and it won't recognize my password. I read that this can't be done. How am I supposed to get into iCloud? I plan on getting rid of my old email address which is my old Apple ID so how is that going to work?

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. What a poor sync system! Really atypical for apple! -
I not so recently changed my email adress I associated with my Apple ID and my iCloud ID. My old email still shows up for iCloud, and won't let me change it to my new email. When I try to delete it and replace it with the proper email, it wants my password, which it won't accept because it's an invalid username.
I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport

HT201250 My time capsule has failed a back-up
Having issues with my time capsule not sure what to do about it. The error message says time machine couldn't complete the backup to the time capsule (Mac mini.sparsebundle" is already in use). I don't know what this means or how to fix the problem.
