To change the initial sorting property

In my km portal the contents (content administration ->km content) initially they are displaying in the alphabatical order, i want to change that,ie i want to see the contents in the modified date's order.
So pls help me where i should have to make this changes ... iam beginner in km area so pls help me ..and this is urgently needed..... surely give points to helpful answers.

The collection renderer you are using has a property called Property for Sorting which Specifies the initial sort property.

In your example, If you're using the standard layoutset for KM Content, go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Settings ->
Collection Renderer Settings
-> Collection List Renderer Settings -> AdminCollectionListRenderer. Find Property for Sorting and change it from rnd:displayname to rnd:modified.

How to change the default sorting in iTunes

Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the default sorting method for all items in iTunes? I use the third option for organizing the library as a whole (the one that has a list of icons for bands that you double click to show only that band's songs). The only sorting method I use is to sort by Album by Year (ascending), this makes the most sense to me. I can tell that iTunes is attempting to remember when I do this for certain artists, but it epically fails at maintaining this sorting pattern.
To be clear, say I open Radiohead and click through to have it sort with the above method. Everything works great, but when I return a few days later to play Radiohead again, the sorting is not maintained. It could be as simple as sorting in a descending direction, or could even be trying to sort by the number it was added in my library.
I'd really appreciate it if someone knew of a way (maybe even through scripts if possible / the only solution) to eliminate this problem and have every (NOT just the artists who I've told iTunes to sort a specific way) artist sort that way.
I don't know if my copy is just corrupt? It may be, since for some artists it's started playing them in the above mentioned order they were added to my library even if I force a sort by album by year (i.e. it will go from playing a 2007 album to a 2002 album and not the 2008 album).

Andrew, I know I am extremely late to the party but I too use Grid View. I had the same problem that you had but have found this to work for me. I used it and it is still holding as my default sorting even after switching between the Artist page and Grid View.
Once you are inside of the Artist page continue to click on the Album column until it shows Album by Artist/Year.
That will give you each album sorted by the year instead of it randomly sorting it for you each time you leave an Artist's page and then back again.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

This caused me to create a new account, and it can be used for the App Store and iTunes and all that, but I can't change the initial iCloud account (the one my mum made). My device keeps prompting me for the password every few minutes after updating to iOS 8, and I've tried every option possible to retrieve the password, but I don't even know the answers to the security questions and I can't find the password reset email anywhere and I don't know the back up emails my mum used. I literally cannot find any legitimate way to sign out of the initial iCloud account without entering a password (which neither I nor my parents know). Is there a way for me to retreive the password or change to my new account without the password?

How can I change the initial value of the field approve_or_reject?

We are using SRM 5.00(SRM SERVER 550) and as per the requirement, I have to make the Reject radio button as default checked on the Approver's screen.
We are using the SAP Standard Workflow WS14500015.
I found out the Standard task TS14508044 (SC approval per Item)which has one field in its container i.e. approve_or_reject ,based on the Initial value of this field , the radio button is behaving...
approve_or_reject EQ 0 i.e. Approve
approve_or_reject EQ 1 i.e. Reject
Now my requirement is to change the initial value of this field from 0 to 1 so that Reject radio button comes as checked by default into this standard SAP workflow task TS 14508044...
Kindly help me and let me know the procedure to change this.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT IS IT WISE TO MAKE THE CHANGES INTO STANDARD SAP WORKFLOW ???

Well Iam not much sure about how you are trying to approve the shopping cart workitem b ut last week i faced a similar issue while apporving the workitems I was able to update the contianer element Apporve_or_reject element by using the FM BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_APPROVE and BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_REJECT ... These two fm will take the responsibility of updating the element with respective value as, if you approve the it will be populated with 0 and if you reject the the element will be updated with 1....

How can I change the initial iCloud account without reinstalling?

i install mountain lion, and set up the icloud with a new @icloud account, however, I have a @gmail account already and used on my iphone4, I want to share information between these devices, so I log out @icloud and log in with @gmail account, contact information is OK, however, when I use the messeage, mac use @icloud to send message, can I change the initial icloud account or should I reinstall?

You can change the Apple ID in the Users & Groups preference pane.

Want to change the default sort order of a Advanced table

Hope all of you doing good.
I am trying to change the deafult sort order of a " View Applicants" advanced table on Irecruitment selfservice page , using personalization feature but its not sorting as expected.
The default sort order is asc by the name of the applicants. I wanted to override it by " Date Applied " desc using personalizing the advanced table.
But its not sorting by Date applied and still shows the sort by applicant name.
Any inputs will be greatly helpful
I am using the Oracle Apps 11.5.10 version.

Hey guys m I got the answer for the below question.
Oracle have few Restriction and limitation on such Advanced table in sorting the data,
Few of them are as mentioned below ...
1. Sorting is not allowed for tables that allow inserts.
2. Sorting is not supported for tables containing updateable columns
3. Sorting is disabled when the Select column is checked for a row in a table or when Hide/Show is present in a table.
Because of the above limitations , we cannot sort or override the existing alphabetical name sort order to Date applied sort order on the View Applicant advanced table.
You can observe that , View Applicant page is having an option called "Update Status" which allow us to update applicant’s status or rating in the Advanced table.
On such updatable advanced tables, oracle does not allow us to override the sort order on any of the table columns.
Keeping it in a nutshell , I can say it's does not allow us to change the sort order of the view applicant advanced table ( which is having updateable columns ) to sort them in Date applied instead of Name( which is default ).

System does not prompt to change the initial passwd

While trying to login to the SAP system with my initial password, the system does not prompt me to change my initial passwd and lets me in, could anyone let me know how can i change the system to force change the initial passwd.

Please provide more details about "your system".
Typically causes:
- Your user ID is either of type SERVICE for which password changes are not required and they cannot change their own passwords either. So you are "consuming" a service and prior authentication does not have anything to do with the authentication of the SAP system.
- You are logging on from an external client system which is calling RFC's to logon to the SAP system. By default, this only prompts for password change or rejects the logon attempt if you instruct the system to do so.
Please provide more details.

There is no way to redefine the initial extent but by dropping/recreating it. But you can try to deallocate the unused space beyond the High Water Mark (alter table table_name deallocate unused keep 0;), as shown on the next demo:

yes, u can change properties dynamically through set_alert_property and set_alert_button_property
here is an example

Type about:config in the address bar. Find browser.download.dir and change it to the path you want. Remember that Android has a linux base so the path will similar to /mnt/sdcard/downloads/

CUA environment - changing the initial password of a user.

I've encounter a perculiar issue when I assign an initial password to a user.
My system setup is based on CUA where my Central admin is client 100, with child client 200.
- I create an ID in client 100, set it to system 200, set initial password as "passW0rd". Save
- The ID was created in 200
- Logged in Client 100 using ID and "passW0rd", prompted for new password (i canceled the login)
- When back to client 100 CUA, in SU01 I select ID and click "EDIT", under the logon data I retype the initial password to "P4ssword"
- checked SCUL, it's green and user change
- Logged in Client 100 using ID and "P4ssword", error in password
- tried the old "passW0rd", prompted for new password.
I puzzled why the CUA did not redistribute the changed initial password to client 200, another can any ideas?
I also tried SU01 and click "reset password" button instead of "edit", the changed password was able to distributed to client 200.
By password change is ok this way or not ok if change within edit mode?

How do I change the default "sort by" on import?

I've been pouring over the forums for a few minutes with minimal success... It seems many people are set on ranting rather than looking for solutions.
I'm finding that I can import photos easily, but upon import (in the library grid view), I have to then switch the sort-by from "import order" to my preferred sequence of "file name".
Is there a way to change the preferences so that the default sorting order of a newly imported batch of photos is "file name" (or anything else for that matter)? I feel clueless for not being able to find such a setting.

@ Ian: thanks for the message, I was afraid that might be the case. It's not generally a bother, but from time to time, my pictures show a sequence of things and it's just plain silly that LR imports with the default being whichever order LR decides to import in.
@ John: I generally import photos from a SD card inserted into my computer, so it just imports it via the default dialog. From looking at the freshly imported gallery, it generally shows that the sort order = "Import order" rather than by filename/capture time.

How do I change the mailmerge sort order

When I want to send a Mail Merge using Pages to read an Address Book Group sorted by Surname, the resulting merge is produced sorted by First Name. This means every Merge has to be manually sorted, which is time consuming and wrong.
A merge letter I have used successfully for over three years, every time sorted by Surname, now produces the wrong sort order and cannot be changed. If I change the sort order in Address Book Preferences from Surname to First Name and back again the behaviour is unchanged. If I change the Sort order to "by First Name" it stays the same. Nothing seems to reassert the correct sorting order ie by Surname.
How do I change it?

Numbers will Mail Merge to Pages in the order of the Rows in the Numbers database. I always use Numbers for merging to Pages because I like the control it gives me of the order of printing but also because of the simplicity and versatility of controlling the content.
It couldn't be easier to move your data from Contacts/AddressBook to Numbers. Here are the simple steps:
In Contacts/AddressBook, Create a Group for your friends or clients that you wish to use with Mail Merge. Drag all the relevant subjects into that Group. (You probably have already done this.)
In Numbers, Create a new document and delete any default Table that appears in it.
Arrange your Desktop so you can see your Group list in Contacts and your new blank Numbers Sheet at the same time.
Drag your Contacts Group to your blank Numbers Sheet, creating a Table in Numbers with all the data of your contacts. You won't see all the data right away because some of it is in Hidden Columns.
Click on a cell in your Numbers Table to activate the table and Hover your mouse pointer over a column label tab in the Numbers Table. Click the menu triangle and Select: UnHide all Columns.
Now you can see all the data and can proceed with organizing it into the order you want the merge to have.
Remember to Save your organized Numbers document before you begin to setup the merge links in Pages. Save the Numbers document each time you make changes to it, prior to doing a Mail Merge.
