To change the receiver port name

Hi ,
I am doing  a File to IDOC scenario.
We have a requirement to post IDOC flat file to the IDOC in SAP system through PI.
We have Partner Number in control record which we receive in the flat file and that has to be sent to the SAP system which we have achieved by checking the " Apply control record values from payload and take sender from payload" option in the sender communication channel.
But we are having a requirement that the PORT number should be taken from "SNDPOR" segment from the Input file. But when we process the file through PI, the port number changes as "SAP*** ".
Is there any way that i could post the value from "SNDPOR" segment as the port number to the SAP system.
Regards,
Vishal

Hi Vishal,
You can change the port details in Message mapping and use the IDocs adapter with the same option as you have now.

  • Changing the Receiver BI Client No.

Has any one tried changing the BI Client No in the Receiver when using the "initial reduction scenario".
    My scenario is this
    Sender BI Client 200
Receiver BI Client needs to be 300 .
I have done it with ECC and CRM but never tried for BI.
Let me know if there are any issues with this sort of setup.

    Thanks Guys,
    Here is what i did
    1) Changed the client in BI through the options in the TDMS initial reduction scenario.
    2) After the above mentioned client copy was complete I changed the BWMANDT column in table RSADMINA to point to the new I client created
    3) Ran BDLS in the all the BI source systems (to change the BI logical client entry) which were to be connected to the New BI system
    4) Ran BDLS in the BI system
        a) change the logical system name for the BI system
        b) change the logical system name for all the source systems connected to BI (In my case the source systems were also different than what existed in the sender BI system)
    5) You might have to restore the BI system as well through RSA1. This is because when we chang the target client all the partner profiles(available in WE20 transaction) and Port Definitions (WE21) were missing in the New BI system.
    6) Then Restored  the all the source sytem connections  through transaction RSA1.
Along with this i did the regular Post-Installation Steps of System Copy and Client Copy.

  • How do you change the Received: From in the message header to correct external address

We have trouble every so often sending a message to customers will get a bounce back.  Basically it is using our local internal name (mailserver.local) instead of our External name (mail.domain.com).  We have a pretty
simple setup one Server (no edge server) with and SSL certificate.  I went in to the Hub Transport setting and made sure the FQDN was mail.domain.com  and it was.  I have read on the subject some people suggest getting your ISP to create a pointer
record for the IP to the internal name. That will not work for us, because we may be changing ISPs in the near future.
I included a bounce and current header info.
So is there a way to change the "Received: from" server name to our external name?

The error message states the reverse DNS entry isn't valid. I agree with Willard that setting up an SPF record will help your overall spam score from receiving hosts, but in this case it should simply be resolved by configuring a reverse DNS.
Receiving mail hosts on the Internet usually care most about the IP that's connecting to them. One of the most common tests is the reverse DNS (since the SMTP connection comes from 96.43.X.X, the receiving host will ask itself "does 96.43.X.X really
belong to the TUK-UTM.theirdomain.com ? and will go and check for PTR records for 96.43.X.X) It's this check that's failed.
Even if you'll be changing your ISP in the future, you would still have ownership for your DNS domains, right ? It should be your company paying for this service after all.

  • How to change the sender's name/email-id in the scheduled report

    Hi,
We have SCOM 2007 R2. In the Reporting tab (SCOM Console), we have some scheduled reports. I need to change the sender's name/email-id in a scheduled report. When we receive the report through email, receiving with the person's name who moved out of the
    team.
I tried to change but could not find the option to change while editing the properties in SCOM Console under Reporting -> Scheduled Reports.
When we are receiving mail from that scheduled report, instead of an individual name, would like to provide a generic name. Please help me out. Let me know, if you need more information.
    Thanks,
    Naren.
    Thanks & regards, Naren.

    Hello,
the SCOM scheduled reports feature rely on SQL Reporting Services. So, if you would like to change the SMTP configuration, you should go in SQL Reporting Services Configuration Manager:
Open in the Start Menu, Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
In the connection window, click OK.
Click on the tab E-mail settings.
    Change the Sender Address.
    Click Apply.
Alternatively, you could also change in the Scheduled report properties the field
Reply to. I think it should customize the reply address for each scheduled reports, but I have never used it. Anyway, doing it with Reporting Services Configuration Manager is more interesting in the long-run.

  • Changing the Sender's Name of an Email Address

    Hello Experts
I am sending Emails from an Activity in the Interaction Center WinClient and is working good. The thing is that i don't want to display the name of the person that is sending the e-mail once the e-mail is sent.
For security reasons, i want to change the sender's name for a text.
For instance, if Jose Perez is sending the e-mail, i want change that for Solution Center. That way, when the customer receive the e-mail, he will see Solution Center and the e-mail address ('[email protected]) of the sender.
Can anyone help me solve this issue?
    Points rewarded
    Thanks

    Hello Alberto,
In the function module SO_OBJECT_SEND, which is used to send e-mails, you can pass the parameter ORIGINATOR and ORIGINATOR_TYPE.
ORIGINATOR = the email address that will appear as 'From'
    ORIGINATOR_TYPE = 'U' for internet e-mailadresses.
    Hope this helps,
    Kind regards,
    Joost

  • Using XML String in the Scheduler Adapter in the Receive port

I have a requirement where I have to query the view in the Oracle database, and the View is like this
    EmpNumber | Name | TermDate
    E001 | ABC | (null)
    E002 | DEF | 13-DEC-14
    E003 | GHI | (null)
    E004 | JKL | 11-NOV-14
    E005 | MNO | (null)
    E005 | PQR | 10-DEC-14
I am going to use the Scheduler adapter in the receive port.It should select the Records with the TermDate null and TermDate 7days ago from today. So here is how I want the selected records to be
    EmpNumber | Name | TermDate
    E001 | ABC | (null)
    E002 | DEF | 13-DEC-14
    E003 | GHI | (null)
    E005 | MNO | (null)
In the other forum I found the sql command to do this is,
    select * from EMP where TERMDATE is null or TERMDATE >= trunc(sysdate) - 7;
But I am not sure if the XML String in the Scheduler Adapter is correct
    <ns0:Select xmlns:ns0="http://Microsoft.LobServices.OracleDB/2007/03/View/EMP"><ns0:COLUMN_NAMES>*</ns0:COLUMN_NAMES><ns0:FILTER>TERMDATE IN ('null','TERMDATE >= trunc(sysdate) - 7')</ns0:FILTER></ns0:Select>
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Thanks Suleiman.
I am using the WCF-Custom Adapter to get the data from the Oracle database. And I am using the Scheduler adapter because to get data on a daily basis. In one of our other application we have used the query statement in the Scheduler adapter
    Like,
    <ns0:Select xmlns:ns0="http://Microsoft.LobServices.OracleDB/2007/03/View/VW_EMP_DEPT"><ns0:COLUMN_NAMES>*</ns0:COLUMN_NAMES><ns0:FILTER>PROCESS IN ('A','B','C')</ns0:FILTER></ns0:Select>
and it works really fine, it just select the records with the Process A or B or C. I dont know how can I select now with respect to data that is 7 days ago from today.Help me with it.

  • Change the debug port

I want to change the debug port of weblogic server.
By default it shows 8453 in the cmd console.
where i can change this port ? can you please name the configuration file where i can modify it ?

    This is very interesting.
    1. If you start the server in Debug mode the debugFlag env. variable is set to true and the DEBUG_PORT is set to 8453 regardless of the launch configuration settings.
    2. If you start the server in non-debug mode the debugFlag env. variable is set to false and the DEBUG_PORT is set to the value you configured on the launch configuration.
    This was tested on 1.1.1.4.0.
    In 1.1.1.3.0
    1. If you start the server in Debug mode the debugFlag env. variable is set to true regardless of the launch configuration settings and the DEBUG_PORT is set to the value you configured.
    2. If you start the server in non-Debug mode the debugFlag and DEBUG_PORT env. variables are not set

  • How to change the default port of webdispatcher

    Hello Everyone,
We wish to  know to how to change the default port of SAP webpatcher port from 81$$ to 80.
    Appreciate your response.
    Thanks,
    Vadi

    Hello Vadi
you have to change the PORT value in your profile parameter from 81$$ to 80
    icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=81$$ to
    icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80
Also, in SMICM, then change http service port and activate it and above parameter will require SAP restart
$$ is used generally to accomodate multiple port services running in SMICM and so as to avoid the parameter setting according to instance number of any system.
    thanks

  • How do I change the itunes user name on my iphone?

How do I change the itunes user name on my iphone? When I attempt to purchase an app or update the existing ones, the previous owner of this iphone has their information displayed and asks for the password as their user name is automatically prompted?

The apps are tied to the account from which they were purchased.  If the apps were purchased from the previous owners account, then they would have to be updated from that account.  you should not have these apps anyway.  You need to buy your own.
Read the manual.  it will tell you how to sign into your account to buy apps.
iPhone User Guide (For iOS 4.2 and 4.3 Software)
I would suggest restoring as new.

  • How to change the RPD file name without deploying on EM

Is there a way to change the RPD file name so it doesn't have BI0002 or BI0003 on the end of it? I can delete my BI0002 file and point the NQSConfig.ini file to my new FileName.rpd but when the BI services restart the BI0002 file reappears in the repository directory and the NQSConfig file changes to reflect this. It's like the only way you can change this is in the Enterprise Manager, but that always adds the suffix to the file.
    Any suggestions?
    Here's what the docs say:
When you upload a repository, it is copied to the local repository directory for each Oracle BI Server component, located at:
    ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obisn\repository
If you have published the repository in shared mode, then the repository is also copied to the shared network location.
After the repository is uploaded, it is given a version number suffix (for example, SampleApp_bi001.rpd). This version number is incremented each time that the repository is uploaded. To revert to a previous version, you must re-upload the specific version of the repository to use.
Note that you can delete older versions from the repository directory or shared network directory to reclaim disk space.
What does that mean? I have to use an old rpd file in order to get rid of the suffix?

    Hi,
It can be changed, although I do not no exactly how. You have to take a look at the MBeans which are used to deploy a new repository. The suffixed is used to insure you do not overwrite an existing RPD

    Hi
You have to edit the following files in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin or $TNS_ADMIN/ :
In your listener.ora on your standby
    MQ_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = superman.dk)*(PORT = 1524))*
TNSNAMES.ORA (on your primary and standby)
    MQ_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (COMMUNITY = tcp.world)(PROTOCOL = TCP)(Host = superman.dk)*(PORT = 1524))*
    (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = MQ_LIST))
    after that do
    lsnrctl reload
