To check the consistency of partner profile?

Hi Expert,
What is the standard program to check the consistency of partner profile?IN inboubd i'm getting status 62 with partner profile is default.how could i rectify that?how can we find status of a change pointer ? is there any table for that?

Hi,
You can check the consistancy in the transaction WE20 itself. Just select the partner profile and click on Check( Cntrl + F2). If idoc is in 62 status then process with program "RBDAPP01" and see what is the status is coming.
Thanks,
Asit Purbey.

Thanks in Advance,

Hi,
The partner profile is used to validate the sender and receiver system for a given message type and to assign to the correspondence process code (function module) to post the IDoc to application system.
This applies for both Inbound and Outbound IDOC's.
Also please check this link for more information.

• What is the difference between generate partner profile and creat partner

What is the difference between generate partner profile and creat partner profile ?

Create Partner ProfilesAlthough partner profiles are usually created automatically, because of the unusual inbound and outbound profiles needed on the same system, the manual generation of certain profiles is required.
The following subsections describe the partner profile settings for the standard client (assumed here to be ALExxxCyyy), as well as for the corresponding dummy client (assumed to be DUMxxxCyyy). The dummy client partner profiles should have been generated by the automatic generation process completed previously. Nevertheless, these should be checked to ensure that all profiles exist.
Generation of Partner Profiles
The following messages should be added to the 4xx-ORDR model for ALExxxCyyy to DUMxxxCyyy on the reference client:
• ORDERS
• ORDCHG
• ZINVRV
• ORDRSP
• INVOIC
• FIDCMT
• The partner profiles should first be generated using the standard auto-generation procedure on the reference client (for SYNCH messages to be created).
• This model should now be distributed to the both ALExxxCyyy and DUMxxxCyyy.
• The partner profiles should now be generated on the client being configured (i.e. yyy) using the auto-generation procedure defined in the standard ALE configuration procedures.
Generate partner profiles for sending system. (Can only do this if at least 1 message type exists against the sending system's LS). This automatically generates the port if the LS and RFC name are the same.
generate partner profiles tcode BD82
creating partner profiles tcode WE20
 There are two methods for maintaining the partner profile:
 Maintain partner profile manually:
To navigate to the partner profile in the sender system, choose Partner profile -> Partner type of Logical System and click on the required Target system. Under Outbound parameters, choose the Create outbound parameters icon, and enter the values for the outbound parameters according to the slide Sender: Partner Profile (outbound).
To navigate to the partner profile in the sender system, choose Partner profile -> Partner type of Logical System and click on the required Sending system. Under Inbound parameters, choose the Create inbound parameters icon and enter the values for the inbound parameters according to the slide Sender: Partner Profile (inbound).
 Generate partner profile:
Prerequisite: The current distribution model is distributed to all participating systems.
In the sender system, choose: Generate Partner Profile, then check the result in the partner profile (outbound)
In the sender system, choose: Generate Partner Profile, then check the result in the partner profile (inbound)

• ICM paper profile not showing up when I go to the print modual and select icm check the box show all

The icm profile that I installed shows up in the printer profile. I select it then enter the print button at the bottem select my printer open the propertied and when I select icm in the mode window advanced check the box show all profiles, The only profiles that show are the one that came with the printer not the one that I installed and did show back in the printer profile.
What am I doing wrong?

To see all profiles in Lr you have to click on the two small triangles besides the profile selected in the Print Job panel.
See Screen shot:
Then a list of profiles will appear. If you don't see the profile you are looking for in this list, click on <Other> at the bottom of the list. This will take you to the folder where al profiles are installed, and if your profile is in this folder you should see it there.
If you still don't see it then it's a CMYK profile. CMYK profiles show up in Photoshop but not in Lr.
BTW: If you want Lr to manage colors you have to select a profile where it says <Profile> in the Print Job panel and not by clicking on <Print>.

• Partner profile in case of Idoc to File scenario

Hi
I have ECC system and PI system. Scenario as :
ECC will send the Idoc to PI ..PI system will Convert this to flat file and provide it to Legarcy system
I made Partner profile in sending system (ECC) and maintained Message type 'MATMAS' as Outbound.
Do i need to maintained the MATMAS in Partner profile of PI also?.
As PI has copied the Idoc MATMAS.MATMAS05 from ECC.
I am confused please suggest

Hi,
MATMAS05 should be configured as outbound paramters of ECC and no need to configure any thing at PI Partner Profile..
All you need to do is to create the Distribution model as sender (ECC) receiver (PI) and message type as MATMAS05...
with appropraite RFC destination name and port.....

Checked particular entry xxx partner profile is inactive status. how to make partner profile active? can basis or abaper do this work?

• EDI: Partner profile inbound not available Message no. E0337

Hi Friends,
I am facing very wiered issue for incoming vendor frieght invoice. When the IDOC is sent to SAP from the edi subsystem, it gets posted with status 56 and error message
EDI: Partner profile inbound not available
Message no. E0337
Diagnosis
An inbound partner profile could not be found with the following key:
/0040000010/LI/VN/INVOIC/MM///
This involves the key fields of table EDP21:
-SNDPRN partner number of sender
-SNDPRT partner type of sender
-SNDPFC partner function of sender
-MESTYP logical message type
-MESCOD logical message code
-MESFCT logical message function
-TEST test flag
I have created the partner profile in WE20 for Partner type LI, partner role VN and process code INVL, message type INVOIC, message code MM. I have also checked the entry in TABLE EDP21 and the entry exists.
When I open the IDOC in WE19, and click on standard inbound TAB it says partner profile not maintianed, however when i click on the control record it opens a dialog box, where we have all the entries for partner profile and when I just click on any field in the dialog box and click continue and when again click on standard inbound it say partner profile maintained.
None of the data is changed in the IDOC control record, I just click on any field and it finds the partner profile.
Please let me know your thoughts, what could be possible reason and a solution.
Thanks
Deepak

Hi Deepak,
I am facing the same problem with a different message type.
But same effect. I can copy the IDoc with WE19 and it will process nicely, completely unchanged.
Have you found the reason for this?
Thanks,
Florian

Hi,
Check in WE20 if the partner profile is configured for the idoc type and the message type. That might be the cause of the error.
Also make sure the same partner profile details are sent to the control record. Partner profile details are stored in the table EDP13.
Hope this helps

Hello Srikanth
In the outbound parameters of the partner profile the outgoing RFC destination is maintained (tabstrip Outbound Options ).
Check the validity of this RFC destination in transaction SM59. Problems might be that the RFC user does not exist on the target system or the password is wrong.

• Hi gurus i am learning what is partner profile

hi gurus i am learning what is partner profile

Logical System name is used to indiacte the application system to which you are ging to send the data.
Partner profiles use the above Logical System name to determine the system to which the data is to be sent ie you have to tell wether inbound or outbound.
Suppose If you are doing IDOC to File scenario ,have to mention the Outbound Parameter in we20 ie IDOC message type name.
For IDOC to file scenario:
SAP R/3 tcode:
WE21 - create port for XI
WE20 - create partner profile LS and add idoc to outbound
XI tcode:
in SM59 - create a type 3 conn from XI to R/3
in IR import IDOC from R/3 in XI
Follow these steps.....

• IDOC question on Message type and Basic Type - Partner Profile

Hi all,
I am wonder if I can post any IDoc question in this right forum/module. If not please direct me to the right forum/module. I am a newbie in IDOC setup.
My question is about the setup of Partner Profile creation (WE20).
When creating a new partner, for example with partner type LI, I notice there is outbound parameter and inbound parameter.
Questions:
1 u2013 It makes sense to have only one message type record appear in EITHER one of these two tables. I notice that some partner in my system has message type record exist on both the inbound and outbound parameters table, why system allows? What is the business rational?
2 u2013 May I have a list of standard SAPu2019s Message Type object of its usage description, and its allowable Basic Type (ie. IDOC TYPE). Basically a website to describe their (i.e. Message type and its Basic Type) business usage.
Thanks.
tuff

Tuff,
Below are my thoughts,
There is a partner sing partner type LI. This partner in the WE20, has one record (i.e. with Message Type ORDERS) exist in the Outbound Parameter table. This partner also has 4 records (i.w. with Message Type DESADV, INVOIC, MBGMCR, and ORDRSP) exist in the Inbound Parameter table. So my question is what is the business rational behind this kind of setup. Because I am confuse when come to create a partner profile, whether I need to create a message type in Inbound Parameter table or Outbound Parameter table, or I need both.
OK, so looking at the above example, you have an orders message type(This is for creating an order) in the outbound, this means that you are sending out an IDOC(purchase order for ex) to this partner, so that this partner can create an SO in his system and fulfill your order.
Now you also, mention that you have other four Message types for the same partner on the inbound, now let us look at the above scenario, you have asked your partner to fulfill the order, i guess you would like to get a confirmation from him/her if the order was created or not in his/her system and how and when is he/she going to fulfill your order requirement. This he/she does by sending an response to your order - ORDRSP.
And when the partner is ready to ship your order to you, he/she sends out a Advance Shipping Notice - ASN via the IDOC of message type DESADV.
Finally and most importantly , he/she will send you the invoice - INVOIC for the order.
In general, you interact with your partner via Business Docs - Order, Delivery, ASN, Invoice etc, so whatever document come from your partner - ORDRSP, INVOIC etc will be on the inbound profile of the partner. Whatever docs that you send ORDERS, ORDCHG etc etc will be on the outbound profile of the partner.
2 - Bascially I would like a reference in any website that allow me to choose which message type is best use for my partner profile, so that I don't have to reinvent.
Well, there is no choice of choosing/best message type for a given requirement - So for sending an Invoice the message type is INVOIC, ORDERS - For order creation, ORDCHG for order change etc. However the IDOC type, is some thing that you can choose, for Ex: ORDERS01 - ORDERS05, these are the IDOC types that are available, so if you are interacting with a partner who are running an old version of SAP and their system has only upto ORDERS02 in their version of SAP then you would use ORDERS02.
Regards,
Chen

• Taking Dump of Ports, Partner Profiles etc before Client Deletion

Hi,
Let me firstly tell you about the requirement.
I need to delete a 9TB client using TDMS. And then re-create it again for users. Now the problem is , that the Partner Profiles, Ports will be deleted when I delete the client, which I cannot afford to loose are there are a lot of them.
So, what is the best way to take a dump of the ports and partner profiles and other relevant things. I tried taking the table entries into transports and thought of re-importing them. But I'm not sure what all tables will be there as there are many like :
EDPP1 (general partner profile),
EDP12 (Message Control),
EDP13 (outbound parameters)
EDP21 (inbound parameters)
Partner function exists in table TPAR
Outbound process code exists in table TEDE1
Logical message type exists in table EDMSG
Process code exists in table TEDE2
What is the table for Basic Idoc type
Port is defined in table EDIPORT but where is their assignment to the Logical Name its not in this table.
There would be so many tables that are interdependent and I don't wanna loose even a single one of them.
Please advice the best option, as I am nearing the deadline to delete this client.
Your help is really appreaciated.
Thanks.
