To create a sample pick list showing the position of Bar codes

I need some guidance to create a sample pick list for Print. Its a bar-code printing with a shipment number which can be scanned for generating the pick lists. Tried still not able to create the sample pick list.

To be more clear on this here is the scenario: -
The Shippers have to key in all shipment numbers two times on UPS, LTL, & TRUCKLOADS. They have to key in the shipment numbers two times: - First to physically pull the units and then after all the units are pulled, they have to key in the shipment number again to get the packing or picking list to print.
To avoid this above process: -
If we could get the shipment number in a bar-code on the pick ticket above or beside the CURRENT HUMAN READABLE NUMBER So that the shipment number can be scanned instead of keying in again.
For this scenario I want to create a pick list showing the position of the Bar-code after I change the printing logic through a smartform. For this I wanted to create a pick list to make the end user have a better visibility. Basically I want to create some test data. Any clues on this.

How to create a Virtual part list for the particular assembly.

Dear Gurus,
For our single purchasing order of particular assembly, we have multiple suppliers who can contribute in that Assembly. For example The purchasing order of Assembly X is given to supplier A and in that some part should be also ordered which should be delivered to supplier A from supplier B. In this situation, I want to create a virtual part list of the assembly which can be used to order both of this supplier seperately. So I do not forget to make purchasing order to the supplier B.

Dear Mayur,
One of option for you is: using document draft as the template for the part list of supplier B. Then create user alert whenever the supplier A need to be ordered.

Try restarting your phone while you hold down the power AND the sleep button at the same time.
This defenitly is a software bug and normally there should be this button.

Convert Input Field in Picking List in the WEB UI interface

I´ve used the EEWB to create a new field (like a select-option) in the business transaction of opportunity in the new tab "Customer Fields". I´ve included it as a WEB UI, transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB.
Using the transaction CRMD_ORDER the field appear as I want it. However in the WEB UI the field appears like a simple Input Field. I need to change the field´s type to Picking List, I imagine.
But I don´t have idea how can I do it.
Can anyone help me?

Honestly the steps are pretty basic assuming you have an enhancement set setup in your client. If not create one in table BSPWDV_EHSET_DEF and then assign it in view: BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG.
1. Find the name of the component and view that you need to enhance by hitting F2 on the screen in question.
2. In the SAP GUI go to transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB
3. Display the component that you want to enhance
4. Hit the enhance component button on display view of the screen
5. When prompted for a storage location name it Z<component_name>
6. Keep the repository.xml the same
7. Now that it is enhanced.. you see the screen as component xxxx enhancement set xxxx, you can right click on the view name in the tree and choose the enhance option.
8. Step through the screens to put in a transport request and then it should be ready to go.

Keep in mind since you already have the field generated you don't have to do much else.

PS CS6 - How do I get colour picker to show the colour difference between new & current in the colour preview box?

In previous versions, I would click the on the colour selection boxes (tool bar) and the colour difference would show in the Colour Picker box. The selected colour (new or current) would show. The target circle would physically move around. Now all the colour number change, but the colour target doesn't move. I used to colour correct items by checking how close using the colour picker and rapidly switching back & forth. Now I can't do that. Help!

In a nutshell, you have to simplify the frame layer and erase the interior.
Here are the steps:
Create your background.
Add a new layer:
Drag the frame you want to use onto the editing surface. The frame will come in on its own layer:
Simplify that frame layer:
Choose the Magic Wand Tool and give it these settings:
Click on the interior gray area of the frame with the Magic Wand to select it, and hit your Delete key:
Switch to the Eraser Tool and erase the stuff that's left in the middle:
Select the empty layer (Layer 1 in this example) and use File...Place to place your image on it. The layer name will change to the name of the image. Adjust the size and placement of the image. Your layers will now look like this:
With the frame layer selected, add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, making sure to "clip" it to the frame layer. Adjust the sliders to suit:

this is probably an easy question. I am trying to create a dropdown list in a JSP form from a data control like "employee id". just dragging the data control attribute does not seem to have any effect in showing the drop down list when the JSP page is run.
What is the missing factor?

TS1424 I downloaded an album, but most of the songs are incomplete. The itunes list shows the appropriate song length, but the actual songs are not completely downloaded - meaning it does not give me the option of finishing the download.

I purchased a complete album, but most songs are only about a minute in duration rather than their actual lengths. The times showing indicate the full song was downloaded, but in reality, its like listening to a sample. I want to get entire songs, but the itunes list shows it as downloaded, so it does not seem to give me the option to download again. I sure would like to get what I paid for. Any suggestions?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Po list showing the total amount with advances given & open GR quantity

My client need to know the list of total p/os showing its gross total amount only (& not with the line items) with the advances rendered to them & its open GR quantity against total qunatity mentioned.
I hv tried in ME80FN, ME2N, ME2L ME2M..etc and all other reports but the system is showing the same with the line items. Kindly advise.

All three informations will not be available in one report(gross total amount not with the line items and the advances rendered to them & its open GR quantity against total qunatity mentioned).
You have to dovelop this report. please take help from technical consultant.
One more thing the open GR quantity will always at PO line item level not at header level.

UWL list showing the workitems wrongly.

Hi ,
In the UWL list the sometimes the workitem is displayed with wrong information.
If I have 4 work items which are expected to be displayed in the UWL list, Instead the UWL shows three work items.
The work item combines the decription of the other work item and shows the wrong information.
E.g. I have three columns in the UWL list Item description ( this is the description of work item), name and status.
The work item
       Item Description                Name                         Status
1.   Test results of 1                ABCD                        Ready for acceptance
2.   Test result of 2                 MNGK                       Approved
The UWL instead of above results, shows the one record like below
1.    Test results of 1              MNGK                Ready for acceptance.
Has anyone faced this problem before? any pointers for this?

Chaning the height of bar code

This bar code has 5mm height and i need to get 8mm height.

Why do PDFs created with some print presets show the error message "cannot extract embedded font."

Whenever I create a pdf from InDesign using a press-quality preset, I get an error message upon opening the file. The error message says that an embedded font cannot be extracted.
InDesign indicates the font is not present in the file.
In Acrobat's properties, the font in the error message is listed and shows that it is not embedded, and that the actual font is unknown.
Running the "embed fonts" from preflight fixups doesn't help.

Found this fix in Preflight: Under prepress, I selected my destination, which is sheetfed offpress (CMYK) and ran the analyze and fix. The updated file opened without the error message.

Create a tree node and show the report on the same page

Hi,
I have created a tree for our organization and each node represents a unit. The top one is office level and followed by division and brach.
I have created a reprot on the same page as the tree node.
What I want to do is:
I would like to click a specific node and the report shows only that node and bellow. So, If I click division A and division A has two branch. my report shows only those two braches that bellong to division A.

The only way it could work is using iframes. Now OBIEE 11g would not allow iframes inside it's dashboard. It offers a dashboard object called "Embedded content" which is a restricted iframe kinda thing but unless you get this object's id from generated HTML you can change it's content dynamically. Besides, such an implementation may break with next patch. So here is an idea.
Create a HTML page with two iframes, left one will hold all the reports with links (you can always generate a list of reports through catalog manager, open it in excel and make HTML links from it) that open report urls (in the format of ./saw.dll?GO&Path=....) in right iframe (using javascript open.window method). Once that page is working, call this page from dashboard using an action link. This is slightly twisted approach but at least it would give you what you asked for.
About making the report list dynamic, I am afraid there are no easy answers. OBIEE provides web service that will allow the users to query catalog to get a list of reports. You can try some basic JSP to access the web service and generate the list dynamically. But that is not something I can provide here.
