Get this error message when someone tries download content after being added to the shared family plan.

My daughter had the same error. We got this working by going to the book on her phone, proceeding to download/purchase the book. It then informed us that someone else in the family had purchased this previously. We went ahead and said download and it worked.

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with Family Sharing. If you are getting the "valid payment" alert message when you alreadyt have a credit card on file, you may want to try re-entering the card details on the account, even if you know they are currently correct. Family sharing says I do not have a valid payment method

I'm Trying to set up family sharing and it says "your family must have a valid payment option". Yet the credit card is valid and is used to make iTunes purchases all the time. Help!

I Got it to work!! I just went into settings and put in my credit card info again.

Every time I open an email, this comes up: Your browser must have Flash 9.0 or higher installed. I download but it still comes up.

When I am in my email and click on one to open, I get the pop up saying "Your browser must have Flash 9.0 or higher installed. I click to download it but the message still come up.

1.Download the Flash setup file from here: 
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version]. 
Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit 
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, 
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
* On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen).

Family must have valid payment method error pops up when my daughter tries to download form iCloud. It shows my payment method under her user name in family sharing. Why isn't it recognizing it?

Try going to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap the ID, choose View Apple ID, then tap Payment Information and confirm that everything looks correct. Sometimes just checking the payment information will resolve this. In other cases you may be prompted that your current password isn't secure and needs to be changed.
Then test Family sharing purchasing again.

Yes. Just redeem gift cards so that your own account always has a sufficient credit balance. Here is how it works:
Family purchases and payments
After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card.

I had the same problem and found a bunch of others did, too. Unfortunately all the posts had no responses! Anyway, I previously had my payment method linked to my paypal. I tried changing it to my credit card and it worked. Don't know if there's a bug with using paypal but that seemed to be the culprit for me. Good luck!

Downloading shared content

My husband and I have family sharing and I want to download an app that he purchased -- I can see his purchases in the App Store, but when I click install, nothing happens...any thoughts as to why? Thanks!

Based on the date and time of your post it sounds like you may have been affected by an issue that affected some Apple Services. Can't see shared content on family share

I set up family share for three members. The first two members' (me and my dad) accounts were originally paid by the same credit card and once we joined family share we could easily access each other's shared content.
But, once I added my sister (whose account is originally paid by a different credit card) I could not access any of her shared content (it's not even visible on me or my dad's phones) and nor can she access our shared content.
I have made sure that the "Share My Purchases" option is turned on.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can fix this problem? Is the fact that her separate account used a different credit card in the past, a problem?

Family sharing - one member get's message no valid payment method

Hi there,
I have family sharing enabled for my wife and two daughters. The latter can download stuff the app store and update apps. My wife however get's a message that there is no valid payment method attached to the family. But the three other members can download new stuff and update existing apps easily.
It gets weirder when my wife leaves the family sharing cause she keeps getting the same message.
iPhone 6, iPhone 5 and 5s working great. My wife has a 4s.
Any clues how to solve this?

I also found Note 445233 - FPY1: Separate exception indicator for 'amount check'
"FPY1
During the payment method check the system states that a payment method is not qualified, because the company code-specific amount limits (minimum amount and maximum amount per payment method and company code) prevent this (fields TFK042E-VONBT and TFK042E-BISBT).
The result is the general exception indicator
'006' No valid payment method found."

Must have a valid X Window Session!?!?

Hi!
I recently discovered that if you're about to use the BufferedImage-functionality in the standard Java SDK (1.4.1) then you must have a running X-Window session which the SUN-classes connects to when your create your BufferedImage.
Why is that?
I'm running Java on our Linux-server and does not want to have an unecessary X-Window session running just to be able to create BufferedImages in memory.
Have anyone else discovered this?

Shared content isn't available

Setting up Family sharing and have credit cards verified and on both phones When I try to download apps from phone one onto phone two I get a message that Shared content is not available. "To access shared content your Family organizer must update your Family's payment method" Which has been done

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like Family Share is not liking the current payment method. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Valid payment methods for setting up Family Sharing include credit cards and debit cards.
If the payment information is correct you can try a different payment method.
Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support

I must have made some change to my Pages preferences.

I am working on a book using Pages (iWork 09). I have had no problem with opening two Pages documents I have created and have then both display on the desktop. I readjust their sizes and they sit there side by side. I don't remember making any changes to any preferences. Just recently, whenever I open the first document and it pops onto the desktop. Great. Now, when I go to open the second document that I want to sit right beside the first document, the second document opens okay but the first document that I opened "zips" off the desktop. What have I done wrong? I know I must have made some inadvertent change because I have been doing this (putting both documents side by side ) for months.

And when i try and download it through the website it say ..... now downloading.
then opens Creative Cloud, Premier Pro doesn't show up in the list
