To enable the User Administrator option programatically

Is there any API call to enable the User Administrator option for a participant programatically? Currently we can do it using the Process Administrator. Please let me know if we can achieve the same through code.

How do I create a form that enables the user to save the form filled in?

When I create the form, save it and open it later, I get the message that the form can only be saved empty - without whatever the user filled into the text fields. Why is this and how can I enable the form to be saved including the content of the fields?

It should only say that when used with Reader versions prior to version 11. If you have Acrobat, you can Reader-enable the form, allowing it to be saved in versions prior to 11, and 11 as well. Exactly how you do this depends on what version of Acrobat you're using:
A9: Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader
A10: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features
A11: File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)

Microsoft Project does not open; Even after enabling the project from Options - Addins - enable the Disabled file in the Manage options.

Dear experts
I have two issues for which I seek help.
1. My Microsoft project does not open, hangs, no matter how many times I disable the Options -> Addins -> enable the Disabled file in the Manage options.
I also copied the file and tried. It has no previous versions. Any advice
I plan to open this in 2013 version of Project later but I really need your advice.

If I understand well, this is a 2013 mpp file that you want to open with Ms Project 2013? Then you get Project hang? Are you using Project Server as well or just the standalone MS Project version?
Can you reproduce this issue with other files or just this file?
Your file might be corrupted, try this
method, export the file as XML and saving it back as mpp.

But, now, I have been asked to enalble the user to enter range of file(name)s!!!!! it means,
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_file
So, is it possible?

Later you will have an internal table. You can hanle it like that:
select-options: s_file for type_name no intervals.
data: w_file like line of s_file.
loop at s_file into w_file.
w_file-low contains value of filename
endloop.
Structure of that internal table is option, sign, low and high. You can also use it in select statements using IN s_file

Can I dynamically display a product showing the user's options

I'm a total Flash newbie so please use small words
My customer manufactures small aluminum products that can be
anodized in several colors. The products can have simple line
graphic artwork or user-specified text engraved into them with an
NC milling machine. If the user wants to add text he also selects
one of several possible fonts. The engraving can also be colored to
contrast with the body of the part.
My customer wants a application (Windows or Web) that can
dynamically display the product as the user makes his choices: i.e,
display an image of the product in the chosen color, then show it
engraved with the artwork and/or text. The text should be shown in
the correct font.
The products, colors, artwork and fonts are all known but the
user's text is obviously unpredictable, so it's impossible to
simply prepare photos of every possible combination. Can Flash (or
something else) programmatically generate and overlay text and
artwork on an image? Can it alter the colors or should I simply
have a photo of every product in every color?
Is this possible? Is Flash the appropriate technology?

I am not sure if you have any software to start with, so I
dunno exactly what you need. You need an image editor, some sort of
html editor, and of course Flash. The easy answer is the Web
Premium version of CS3. It should have all you need. If you already
have some of those tools, then the main thing you need is Flash.
There are also some free alternatives out there from web creation
and image editing, but they don't integrate quite as well as having
all Adobe products.
Some good learning resources can be found at Lynda.com. It
has a ton of tutorials on programs that you would need to do this
including Photoshop and Flash. A subscription is a bit pricey, but
when you think that one book can be $50, being able to access so
many tutorials really seems like a good value. Also, there are some
good print book available there that you could use as a buying
guide. You'll need to get into ActionScripting with with this, so
look for a basic intro to Flash CS3, and then something regarding
getting started with ActionScript 3.
These forums are a good resource as well, but mainly when
you have specific questions. People can answer "Why does my text
disappear when I use a mask over it?" but it is harder to answer,
"I want to build a picture library, how do I do that?"

Can't Login with the User Administrator or the User root

Today i Download the tarantella secure global desktop version 4.2.977 when finish say i can login with the username Administrator and the password of root but i can login only give me again the windows to enter username and password what can i do with this

this is a bug with the 977 build. new build was release today to address this issue.

How to enable the target Group option "Dispaly target Group" in WebUI

I am Working on Market Role in CRM 7.0 here when we search for the segment from the Marketing Work center and select any one segment from the search i.e profile set .After that when we click on the graphical Modeler button on the top . That takes to a view where in we can see icons with target group on the right top in the view when we right click on the icon we get options eg: count,export to file etc here we dont have an option call "Display Target Group" but this option is avaiable in the GUI . How can we get this option on to the webUI can any one help me out in this regards.

I don't think you can get a button like this. You are not supposed to view the content of the target group from within the graphical modeler. You have to see this from the traditional CRM WebClient user interface. There you will see the members of the target group when clicking on the target group name.
From the graphical modeler the only thing you can do is to right click the target group and export it to a file.

You cannot download antivirus software to the iPad and you don't need it either. There are no viruses for iOS. You can only download content to the iPad from the App Store, iTunes and iBooks on the iPad. You can't download software via a web browser on the iPad.

Failed to connect to /@ Check the password in the user"s Creation Options

I am using the migration workbench to migrate to a new database. I was able to run this migration successfully to transfer the table data only. Now when I try to run this same configuration a second time to transfer over the indexes, I am getting this error. I am migrating from sybase, if it makes any difference. I have gone to the user Creation Options and retyped passwords to see if that helped, but it did not make a difference.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going on here?

Use of the Standard settings tab under 'User administration'

In cFolders 3.1 , user administration --> Standard Settings tab page:
One can define the default settings for users that will be created
The default settings defined by the user administrator here are the default settings for each user when they enter cFolders.
My question is :- after making this setting as above ,Will all the users created using su01 inherit the default settings ?
What about users replicated from other systems using a batch program which copies them?

I think I replied your other post as well. Anyway, to answer your question - YES, these setting will apply to all users. The way it works is, once the user (created in su01) logs in, these settings will be applied as the defaults. Therefore, it should also work for users replicated from other systems using a batch program.

Restrict the role of User Administrator

Hello all,
I need to know that if it is possible to restrict the Role of an User Administrator to assign only a specific set of Roles to the end user.
For example : The user administrator should be able to assign only say Managers, Employees Roles to the Users and not any other roles like Super Administrators etc.
If so, how can we achieve that?

There is a authorization object (combined with a parameter) that does this restriction:
S_SPO_PAGE
Definition
Using authorization object S_SPO_PAGE, you can restrict the maximum number of pages of a request that can be printed on a particular printer.
This authorization check is only active if profile parameter rspo/auth/pagelimit is set to 1.
Defined fields
SPODEVICE Device name for which the restriction is to apply.
SPOPAGES Maximum number of pages allowed; enter a range (0 to n) here
