To find Function Code in BDC

Hi,
I am creating a BDC program for transaction FB09....
How can I identify the function code for a BUTTON?
And also, how can I know the function key number for the button?

Hi Vin,
go to t-code FB09>go to menu>system> status>select program-->double clcik ..
it takes you to se38 program..
copy program name -->go to se80 and enter the program name and enter..
it shows you the all includes in the right hand side..
expand the GUI status in the right hand side..
now you will get the all gui status's according to the description doudble click and see the Fucntion key's assigned to the Buttons..

Prabhudas

  • How to find function code for buttons on toolbar in oops alv

    Hi experts,
    I want to remove some buttons from toolbar in oops alv, i know the procedure like get function code and pass the value in a table and pass that table to IT_TOOLBAR_EXCLUDING of
    method set_table_for_first_display but I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIND FUNCTION CODE FOR BUTTONS ON TOOLBAR IN OOPS ALV

    Hi Prakash,
    -->First you have to set the pf status in your alv program by,
    {FORM pf_status USING rt_extab TYPE slis_t_extab.
      SET PF-STATUS 'FIRST'.
    ENDFORM.                    "PF_STATUS}
    -->Pass this Subroutine name in the Function module, Reuse_alv_grid_display's parameters i.e,
          i_callback_pf_status_set          = 'PF_STATUS'}
    *-->Then doble click on that pf status,
    From the menu bar, select Extras->Adjust Template->List Viewer,
    This will give you the existing statndard gui status of the program*
    ->Then catch that function codes in the User command Parameter of the Function module Reuse.. i.e,
          i_callback_user_command           = 'COMM'
    And make a subroutine of the name 'COMM'i.e,
    FORM comm USING ucomm LIKE sy-ucomm selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
      DATA: okcode TYPE sy-ucomm.
      okcode = ucomm.
      CASE okcode.
        WHEN 'REF'.
        CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_TO_INFORM'
          EXPORTING
            titel         = 'MANSI'
            txt1          = 'CREATED BY'
            txt2          = SY-UNAME
          TXT3          = ' '
          TXT4          = ' '
    endcase.
    Hope it helps you

  • How to find Function codes

    Dear SAP friends,
    Does anybody knows an easy way to find function codes ( those of type ui_func) of standard ALV grid toolbar?
    Searching this forum I learned that you can do se11 and read table RSMPTEXTS for program SAPLSVLV_FULLSCREEN or just se41 for program SAPLSVLV_FULLSCREEN.
    Shouldn't there be some kind of complete Reference about function codes of standard ALV grid?
    Please share if you know.
    Thank you
    Tatyana

    Thank you, Ferry.
    Reading method BUILD_COMPLETE_TOOLBAR of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID you
    can see an icon code, function code and text  for the buttons of standard ALV grid toolbar.

  • How to find function code for Dynamic generated program

    Hi,
    I have created a dynamic program for getting different selection screens depending on inputs . I am finding a flaw that, pressing 'BACK' buttn is leading some other action which was coded by me,  instead of going back.
    SY-UCOMM is also not working as it is dynamic program.
    Help me for getting previous screen.
    Please suggest me the inputs.Thank u
    Regards
    Aditya

    Hi Klaus,
    As per ur instructions, I replaced SY-UCOMM with SSCRFIELDS.
    But no change in my problem.
    The following screen shot is a program which is coded dynamically using fieldsymbols.
    When I press BACK here for the following code selectionscreen, I am getting someother action which was coded by me. But not going back.
    Twist is, SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM or SY-UCOMM is getting captured for 'F8', but not 'BACK'.
    I hope, I have explained my issue clearly. Please let me know, if any deep clarifications needed.

  • How to find function codes of the buttons in ABAP Webdynpro

    I had 2 buttons in my input screen of the WebDynpro, for both buttons some piece of logic is common. So i wrote that common logic in the default method 'WDDOBEFOREACTION', which will be triggered always before the corresponding methods got triggered.
    Now my problem is the method 'WDDOBEFOREACTION' triggering even when user hits ENTER in the input screen, to prevent the common logic not to execute need to write some condition based on the user action. But unfortunately was not able to find the way. Could any one suggest me on this.

    For your specific requirement :
    you should first determine the current action which triggered this WDDOBEFOREACTION method,
    as this method triggers for every action performed on the webdynpro view.
    For that below is the code
      DATA lo_api_view_controller    TYPE REF TO if_wd_view_controller.
      DATA lo_action                 TYPE REF TO if_wd_action.
      lo_api_view_controller = wd_this->wd_get_api( ).
      lo_action = lo_api_view_controller->get_current_action( ).
      IF lo_action IS NOT BOUND.
              IF lo_action->name EQ 'BUTTON1'   OR   lo_action->name EQ 'BUTTON2'.
    Where BUTTON1 and BUTTON2 are the actions associated with both the buttons.
    Write your common logic here and now it would get executed only for both these button cliks only
               ENDIF.
    ENDIF.

    Regds,

    Hi ,
        In your second case u r not specifying the BDC DYNPRO screen number , your code should be

    perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'
    '=COPY'.
    else..
    perform bdc_field using 'BDC_OKCODE'

  • Error in Module pool:Function code

    Hi All,
    I am using IW52 transacion for which I have activated the Screen exit and inserted table control on it.
    The table control entries has to be deleted for which I have added a Delete button with function Code 'DELE'.
    When trying to delete the entry the system throws an error message saying that 'The function code DELE is not available here'.However after pressing enter the entries are deleted.
    I have debugged for the error and could find that the table T185F is being checked in the function module screen sequence.
    Could someone  please let me know how to customize the table with the function code I have added.
    Thanks.
    Arvind

    Hi Neha,
    The link says that we cannot enter Custom User command in the SAP Screen exit.But I think there is a way to maintian T185* table in VFBS transaction.
    I tried the same and now not getting the error message that "Function code XXX is not available here".
    The problem is now that the system is always keeping the OLD sy-ucomm value.That is when I press delete records I get a confirm prompt message ( custom ) and record gets deleted.After this I again press enter the pop up comes again.
    I checked in de bugging and found that the sy-ucomm was not cleared.I tried to clear sy-ucomm values but the main program of the transaction again resets the Sy-ucomm.
    Please let me know if you or anyone has any solution to deal with this.
    Thanks.

  • Adding 'FIND' functionality in toolbar of ALV Web Dynpro ABAP

    Hi Friends,
    I need to know whether we can add FIND functionality in toolbar of ALV display. If yes than which class will help in that, or do i need to code it.
    Pls help on this.
    Regards,
    Saud

    Hi Saud,
        If you mean that you need to highlight the Field-Value then, you can use Set Focus On A Table Cell .
    You can use the method REQUEST_FOCUS_ON_VIEW_ELEM of if_wd_view.
    For this, you can see this post --
                               How to set focus on a specific UI field at the start of an application?
    Further, you have to design 'find input-screen', submitting which will set focus on the cell that contains requested value.
    This way, you can add ( or somehow, simulate ) the Functionality of FIND, although not per se.
    Thanks.
    Kumar Saurav.

  • How to maintain the function code added to a custom screen in IW31

    Hello gurus,
    Does anyone know how can I maintain the function code of the push button I have in my enhancement screen in IW31 (Service Order). 'Coz it says "Requested function 'my fcode' is not available". I tried it in VFBS but don't know the screen sequence or what's the right data to put. Please help me with this. Thanks.
    Regards,
    AyemSheera

    Hi, you need add Your Function Code into the Tables T185x (x like T, F...). Call Transaction SM30 (SM31), put the Table name T185 into Table name and select the Button 'Maintain' or Customizing. The Transaction will navigate you to right position in Customizing. Next, you need to find in the Table's T185x Line with the Program Name SAPLCOIH. Then add your code into the Table's. At next, You have to maintain Your function Code in the PAI module of your Custom screen in the TA IW31.
    Sincerely Yours,
    Lubomir.

    In the ALV Layout mark NO_TOOLBAR = 'X'
