To find IP address for changes

Hi Gurus
Can anyone tell me how to find IP address of the system on which specific changes has been done to master. I want to kno system not user. Bcas one user is allowed 2 different persons. So want 2kno specific IP address. Is it possible?

Hi,
You should avopid sharing Logins with multiple users also you cannot track for IP address that on which terminal changes have been done, but when you are loggin in and if you see a pop up for
License Information for Multiple login.

that time you may get to know who is logged into the system.

Finding DHCP addresses for LAN connected devices

i am suffering from information overwhelm!
can anyone tell me how I can find out the DHCP assigned addresses for devices that are connected to my airport extreme via wired connections to the lan?
i have a voip box connected to the base station and i need to know it's 10.0.1.x address so that i can work with the voip company to check why that box is currently having problems.

You should be able to choose Logs and Statistics from
the Base station menu and then choose the DHCP
clients tab. That will show you all of the DHCP
leases currently in use.
It appears that there is a problem displaying DHCP information for wired clients.
I discovered that if you disable the wireless (I'm only running wired clients), the Logs and Statistics tab only shows "Logs". The other tabs are not even displayed.
When I turn the Wireless back on, the other tabs re-appear but are empty (no entries). This appears to be a bug that will hopefully be corrected in the next update

How to find MAC address for WAN port for Airport Express 2nd Gen.

The New Airport Express has a LAN and a WAN ethernet ports. How can I find the MAC address for the WAN ethernet port as my Service Provider needs it for provisioning....I can fid MAC address for Ethernet and for two wireless 2.4 & 5GHz but not for WAN ethernet port using Airport Utility 6.1

Many thanks for the swift response. However, there is no WAN MAC address on the box or on the device anywhere. I even used magnifying glass to find one .
The airport utility shows only three mac addresses. One for 2.4GHz, one for 5GHz and one fo the ethernet (LAN port) whereas there is another ethernet port in the device mentioned as WAN port and I am still not able to find the MAC address for the WAN ehternet port for Airport Express (2nd Generation).
Will appreciate a response to make th device work wiht my service provider as providing them the WAN mac address is a must. Had there been an option for cloning mac address, the issue would have not been there.

How to find the workflow for Change Request for the PO's

Hi All,
We have a PO which is pending and we can't receipt it again nor make payment on this. After checking the Approval history for that PO we found that the change request has been made. The change request was to change the amount to be paid to R39196 instead of R58237.00. We don't know where to check the workflow for the change request to identify the cause.
what i need to know is how to find the workflow for that change request? The other workflows can be checked using the po_header_id for the PO's but i am confused with the change request workflow

For 11.5.10.2 run this query to determine the keys to search on:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'PO' and Document_num = 'put-PO-number-here'
Then use the keys returned by the query to look up the Workflow in
Workflow Administrator Web Applications / Administrator Workflow / Status Monitor
Search using the results returned in fields "Type Internal Name" and "Item Key" in Status Monitor
The query for change requests on a specific Requisition would be:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'REQ' and Document_num = 'put-Req-number-here'

Have question about the IP address, i got NAS (buffalo) which is work great with snow leopard.
I can access network drive from finder, which is show as Wd-Mybookworld
My problem is sometime i need to access to the NAS to config it, but i cannot find the ip address for Wd-Mybookworld
How can i check the ip address of the NAS, if i can see and access it by its name in the finder???
Or can i juts put its name in the safari address bar and let it link to ip automatically?

For example, my device name is "Ned-MyBookWorld" i can access without ip address by type

Need to find a scripts for changing default "Open with" iTunes app to Quick

I'm new to scripting but need a script really quickly...
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a script that will change the default "Open with" of audio files placed within a certain folder on my desktop...
I'm making sound clips with WireTap and dumping them in a folder called WireTapExports as .mp3. I then need to play them without using iTunes (and importing them by default) but going into the "Get Info" and manualy changing the "Open With" settings for each file is taking ages...and it's very irratating...
Is there a way I can make all audio file put in that folder automaticaly open with Quicktime instead.
I know this is quite easy to most but I've only just started looking at Applescript (i.e. a few days ago) and but I need this to work now...

Not what you want, but if you hold the control key while getting info it changes to summary info which then lets you change the preferred application on a batch of files in one go.

Cant find ip address for router

When I try to access the setup page for my router, 192.168.1.1 does not work and neither does 192.168.1.2 any way to find out what the address is. when I type in those address is comes up no such website ect.

Check first what ip address your router is getting. Open your command prompt. All you need to do is click on the START button at the bottom left of your screen. Click on RUN and type in lower case cmd and press enter. Then you will have a black screen or your command prompt. You will see a blinking cursor all you need to do is type in ipconfig and press enter. You will then know what ip address your getting. The default gateway is the address you need to use for you to access your router set-up page.

Thanks - that does help to explain why I've had this problem, as the printer is a wired one through the USB.
The bigger issue is that I'm trying to get the printer to work with my new Windows 8 64-bit computer. There's a compatability issue and no driver available from Canon to sort the problem, but I did read on another forum that someone had resolved by downloading the driver for Windows XP 64-bit and then installing the printer through the normal Windows 8 'install new printer' menu. The trouble is that I don't seem to be able to get the computer to find the printer when I try to install it - so had been hoping to help it by entering the printer IP address in the advanced search function.
If anyone is able to shed any additional light on this I'd be very grateful - but thanks anyway Vera for your advice on he IP address.
