To find the Transaction code

Hello,
How can i find out which transaction code was used to create for eg: Billing Document.. like VF01 or VF04 or VF06 or from a batch job.

Hi,
I don't know the direct way. But another way around is here.
Go to VF03 enter billing document click on accounting tab. Once ur on in Accounting Document(TCode FB03) Click on display Document Header. Here you can see the TCode field. This is the field which tells, how this billing document is created. This field holds VF01 in case of creation is from VF01, SE38 incase of VF06...

Please, specify your requirement... A table could be modified by various programs which are called by numerous transactions.

Yeah, How to find the transaction code?
Lets say suppose I know the path of what I want to do, for example I wanna assign chart of deprecition to a company code. The path will be " SPRO - financial accounting - asset accounting - organizational structures - assign chart of depreciation to comp code".

Where can I find the transaction code for this path??
FYI : The transaction code for this particular example is OAOB

create a SQ01 quickview query for table TSTC or, even do a join for TSTC&TSTCT

if you want to see where some of the transactions are in the hierarchy you can use transaction "search_sap_menu" or SPRO and use the binocular button to search

Dear All,
Please help me on this queary.
1) How to find what is the transaction assigned for the particular Report
2) How to find the particular include is used in which programs and also transaction codes
I have one ZProgram that contains only includes no selection screen, I have to find where this program is used, in that one include is ther I would like to know in which program and in which transaction that is used,
They have given ME9F, ME21N/22n, wheren this includle is calling.
Please kinely help on this.

1. you can find the transaction for your report by opening in se80. On the left side window it will show the transaction if there is any.
2. to find in which programs particular inclue is called , just open include in se38 and press where used list icon. in the pop up window select programs.

Hi,
Please search the forum before you post basic questions as this question was answered a number of times earlier.
There is no list as such.But one can go to T Code SE93 and get the list in F4 options.You need to type one or two characters followed by * and click F4.You will get the corresponding list.
Altrenately you can use table TSTC for getting the same.

hi
when a similiar type of document is created from different transactions
then how to find which document is obtained from which transaction.
Can any one give the procedure or tables which updates this kind of data.
Sample ex :
1) an order created using ME21
2) an order created using IW31
in order to differentiate this 2 orders which is created from different transaction codes

In tables like MKPF, BFPF,... you have a field called tcode which gives you the details according to document number and transaction through which the document was created. Hope this solves your issue.

NO.
Messages and transaction are not related at all. Transactions are 'entry points' for processing. Usually a transaction code is connected to a program an a screen. Starting there, any functions, programs, methods or transactions can be called. The called objects can do the same.
A message can be called directly in the program (This is what you found in function group MG11) or dynamically, selected via control tables or other methods.
You could check the function name of LMG11U05 and request a where-used-list. Then check transaction table TSTC for the programs found in the where-used-list. If you are lucky, it solves your question - at least partially. Because the message may be called elsewhere, too.
If not solved, please describe the situation in detail.

Cannot trace the transaction code within a role

Hello All,
We, in our project trying to trace out various transaction codes assigned to each of roles.
I have an issue tracing an transaction code FB60. When i searched in suim for transaction codes within the role, I could see FB60 listing in the results.
But when i go to role through pfcg and see in the menu tab i cannot find the transaction code there.
what went wrong here? Now i want to remove the transaction code from the role so that next time when i use suim it wont be listed in the results.

Find The Transaction for the given EXIT Name

Hi Friends,
This is my doubt,pls dont think in the other sense
I know how to find the EXIT for a given Transaction. My question is that IS THERE IS ANY WAY TO FIND THE TRANSACTION FOR A GIVEN EXIT NAME.Could any one help me out on this.My fuctional guys are giving me the EXIT names and asking me to find for which transaction the exit triggers.

hi lakshmi,
try the following steps.
1. give the exit name in SMOD.(J45A0007) go to display mode
2. click component and take the exit name.(EXIT_SAPMJ45A_009)
3. here SAPMJ45A is the progam name, so that in SE38 give the progame name click the Where used button and select the transaction and deselect other checkbox.
4. you will get the transaction code.

Where to see the transaction code for a script

Hai my dout is where to see the transaction code for a script after assigning to a drive programm for example i see output for medruck in me11 and for other standard scripts where can i see the output is there any table avaible to check it

for sd and mm related scripts. u can use tnapr.
Otherwise go to nace transaction u can find the script name as well as program name.
Or u can try with TSTC table, which will give the t/c's.

Finding the transaction of an abap runtime error

hello,
is it possible to find out the corresponding transaction to an abap runtime error?
till now i've got all informations like they are shown in ST22 in my abap program. but i'd also like to have the transaction code, not only the corresponding devclass, subapplication and application.
does anyone know a function module or any other solution for that problem?

When you are analyzing your short dump via ST22, there is a section called "User, transaction..." where the following information is shown:
Client
User
Language key
Transaction
Program
Screen
That section will show you the transaction code you need.

I have started off with the Personal Administration and i found that the help.sap.com does not provide the transaction related to the module. Is there anyway we can find the transactions related to each submodule of PA which would help me learn the module better.

It's good to have an idea of all the Transaction codes... but how many can you remember or how many will you access is something thats difficult to ascertain.....
It is suggested that you start working in SAP with the basic transaction codes and over the period of time you will have an idea of all the transaction codes demanded by the work...
Do not strain yourself at the very start... The Big thing is yet to come.......

The user exit EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001 is trigered for the below transactions and also postings via IDOC.

This is basically used for tax calculation purposes.
The user exit EXIT_SAPLMEKO_002 is trigerred for multiple transactions of purchansing scenario.
Also use user exit for your business scenario.

Problem while executing the transaction code FMBV (Reconstruct)

We are facing a problem while executing the transaction code FMBV
(Reconstruct Availability Control in Funds Management) in it when we
execute this transaction system only updates the expenditure which is
made before technical upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6 EHP6, against the
Assigned Budget (KBFC budget type) in the Annual Budget Table (BPJA)
and
the expenditure which we made after the upgrade, the program just
ignore
it. We can also see the expenditure in the standard FBL3N report.

In your description, you refer to missing update after an upgrade. First of all, see if table FMIT is consistent, as it is the basis for calculating the assigned values during AVC reconstruction.
Refer to this note:
977016 FMIT: Missing totals records in Funds Management And perform following steps:
1.- Run program RGZZGLUX
2.- Run program RFFMRC04 to match totals table with line items. A test run after a successful effective run should not find inconsistencies.
3.- If RFFMRC04 does not show more inconsistencies, run FMBV as final step.
Note that this reconstruction must be done without any other budgeting/posting activities at the same time, otherwise you may cause other inconsistencies.

977016 - FMIT: Missing totals records in Funds Management
Symptom
After the upgrade to ERP 2004 or higher you realize that the FMIT totals table is no longer updated in Funds Management. You start the RFFMRC04 report to reconstruct the totals, but the report still displays the missing totals after an update run.
Other Terms
FMIT, EA-PS, ECC 5.00, ECC 6.00, ECC 7.00
Reason and Prerequisites
This problem occurs due to a generation error.
Solution
Start the RGZZGLUX report to generate missing source code in FI-SL. Then start the RFFMRC04 report to reconstruct the totals, now another run of the report should no longer display any errors.
