To format code: {code} Your code here {code}

It doesn't look like code formatting instructions will ever make it into the help, so what about a moderator announcement on page 1 of both dev forums? I started a thread on this topic up in the Feedback forum but it will need support from other developers to get the attention of management. If you like this idea or want to improve on it, please consider bumping my thread or starting your own up in Feedback. [http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1933807&tstart=0]

Update
Nubz N. has responded to my Feedback Forum thread on this subject, and has been kind enough to add an excellent section on code formatting to Joerg Weise's How can I format my post? in the User Tips Library.
Helpful as this addition is, I don't think newbies are going to find it in time to avoid a post full of unformatted code. So I've asked Nubz to consider my earlier suggestion to get some minimal instructions right on top of the Dev forum topic pages.
If you'd like to support this effort, just bump my Feedback thread -> here <-

  • Formatting error with_item-wt_withcd in transaction code FBV0

    Hi,
When the user is posting the parked vendor invoice using transaction FBV0, there is an error message reported as
below: Message no. 00298 - Formatting error in the field WITH_ITEM-WT_WITHCD; see next message.
Even after executing the transaction RFBIPPG0, the above formatting error with withholding tax code field is not resolved.
As a solution for the problem, it is required to execute the note no. 709736 which resolves the formatting error.

    Hi Maurizio
We are facing the error “Field WITH_ITEM-WT_WITHCD(5) does not exist in the screen SAPLFWTD 0100”. We are having an interface here for posting an Invoice document through T code FB01.
When we execute this in foreground we don’t get any error and when thesame is executed in background, we are getting the error “Field WITH_ITEM-WT_WITHCD(5) does not exist in the screen SAPLFWTD 0100”.
We have gone through various threads and found that the same is concerned with the number of withholding tax codes assigned to the vendor codes i.e. it should be limited to 4. If the same is more
than 4, the screen SAPLFWTD 0100 gives the above error. However we have the scenario where in more than 4 withholding tax codes will be assigned to a vendor code.
We also raised a OSS for the same, but the same being a Z development, we are net getting a satisfactory response from them.
Please provide the solution for the same.
    Thanks & regards

  • How do i unlock my daughters ipod, she lost her code

My daughter locked her ipod and cant remember her code...how do we unlock it?

    Hi sophiebelle03,
With a 4th gen iPod Nano, unless I'm forgetting something, the only recourse is to restore the iPod to factory setting in iTunes. That gets rid of the passcode, but also all of the content on the iPod. If there's any chance that she can remember the passcode I would give it a little while before restoring the iPod.
    Hope this helps

  • Format column in Numbers for zip code

how do I get a leading zero for zip codes??

start by selecting the cell(s) yu want to format, then go to the Format menu and choose Create Custom Cell Format:
    In the dialogue that opens:
Edit the name to reflect the use to which this format will be placed.
Leave the type as Numbers & Text
Note the example (orange circle) showing how a number will appear under the curent format.
Click the white triangle (see arrow) in the Integer tablet (red circle) to open the options menu.
Take three trips to the options menu:
    Choose Hide Separator
Choose Show Zeros for Unused Digits
    Choose Add Digit
Click OK to return to the document.
Note that this will work for the original five digit Zip codes. Extended five-four codes will be treated as text, as can be seen in the image above. and will not sort correctly (see column D of left table below). For correct sorting, format the column as text and enter the Zip codes including the leading zeros, as has been done in the single column on the right (before the column was sorted into the displayed order).

    HI,
    - Any of the WBSE which are hierarchically superior to your WBSE "74419" should have the relevant company code.
Check for any such superior WBSE in your structure & assign the company code, in question,  to it. It should be a billing element also.
this is because, while billing system checks for the proper revenue receiver cost object in the particular company code.

    iOS- Understanding passcodes
If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
         1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
         2. Connect your device to your computer.
         3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
         4. Select the Summary tab.
         5. Select the Restore option.
         6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up
option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not
             necessary to create another.
         7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up,
you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device).
         8. When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple
             logo while starting up:
After a restore, the iOS device displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. For updating
to iOS 5 or later, follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. For earlier versions of
iOS, keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or
              you see "iPhone is activated."
         9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup.
If you can not restore your device then you will need to go to recovery mode.
Placing your device into recovery mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
         1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end
of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
         2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the
red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake
and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake
              and Home buttons.
         3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device.
The device should turn on. Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device
charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then
             start with step 2 again.
         4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
         5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
         6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
    Additional Information:
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
For iOS I would expect an updated version of the manual to appear here at some point : http://support.apple.com/manuals/ipad/

    Hi Rao,
Go to sxmb_moni and open your response mapping and take the payload and test your mapping. It seems the value you are mapping to /ns0:MT_DAT_RES_02 is not there. Can you please check that. You need to make sure step 4 in this blog:
    /people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/07/03/jdbc-receiver-adapter--synchronous-select-150-step-by-step
Your response always comes up with _response and your message type should be like that only.  Also can you give your response mapping payload and the response message type here so that somebody can help you out if this didn't resolve your issue.

    Hi Zpittman,
What is you said ‘Code Review Tool’?
I assume that you meant the Code Review feature in TFS. I tried it in Visual Studio 2013 with update 4 and TFS 2013 with Update 4, the whitespace was detected and the code review see it as a difference.
If you don’t get the same result with me using VS and TFS, please upgrade your VS and TFS to the latest update.
If the issue still exists, please
reset your VS settings through Tools->Import and Export settings->Reset all
    settings->…. and repair your VS.
If code review tool is a third-party tool or a third-party VS/TFS add-in, the official support of this tool can be a better place to resolve your issue.
If I misunderstood anything, please feel free to come back.

  • LabVIEW load error code 1: LabVIEW load error code %Id: %p

One of my VI crashed while trying to save some data to file, I then tried to save the VI afterwards, but message with Out of Memory popped up again and the IV closed down. So now I can´t open my VI, then I try I get the "LabVIEW load error code 1: LabVIEW load error code %Id: %p" message and I have been given no opportunity to recover an older version of the VI then I close down and open LabVIEW again!!! So my VI is lost or what?
This is a huge problem for me, hope someone can help...
    Regards
    Jesper

    Hi Jesper
For the future you should be good with LabVIEW 2012 (Normally realeased after NI Week in Austin in beginning of August). From what I know about this problem it have not been mentioned to be solved in a fixpack before release of LabVIEW 2012.
If you are reading in large files that uses more memory than avaliable and do wan't to avoid LabVIEW from crashing then you could add more RAM to your PC. If you are using Windows 32-bit you could try to edit the boot.ini file for Windows to allow Windows to allocate more memory to LabVIEW as explained in the following article:
Extending Virtual Memory Usage for 32-bit Windows
     http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvhowto/enable_lrg_ad_aware/
You could also try upgrading to Windows 64-bit this will allow much larger memory operations, and Windows 64-bit will let LabVIEW allocate more memory.
To use Source Code Control on your computer you will need:
    1) A Source Code Control server with space to store the backup VI's and previous versions on (this can be your own PC). All Source Code Control providers that follow the Microsoft Source Code Control API. We have a list of tools that we have been tested that can be found here (note that some is free and other is not):
Which Third-Party Source Control Providers Can I Use with LabVIEW 8.0 and later?
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/26EC5904169430CE8625706E00743997?OpenDocument
    2) After installing the server you need to configure LabVIEW to communicate with this server. In the article below under the section "Configuring LabVIEW to Call the Microsoft SCC API" you can see how to do this:
    Software Configuration Management and LabVIEW
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4114
    3) You are good to go. Source Code Control uses the two most know functions "Commit / Check out." When you Check out a document you will be able to edit it, and when you then commit the changes then it will be saved with a new version number on the server. For each commit you will be able to select "Revert to previous version" to go back and restore a previous commited VI. You can use these functions on the VI it self or as I prefer from the Project Explorer.
Bisides the advantage of being able  to restore previous versions, Source Code Control is also a great tool if your are multiple users working on the same project. You will i.e. be able to be 2 or more developers working on the same VI at the same time and then merging your changes to one VI when you are finished.
