To get Footer Displayed for Dunning Letter Report

Hi All
There is a requirement to Add footer to display at bottom of page in Oracle reports with Customer Number, And Sum of Transaction Amount
for Dunning Letter. Would need some hint towards fixing this Can we get this requirement using Dunning Letters

There are two locations on the BI Server where you need to place images:
Drive:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\app\res\s_blafp\images
Drive:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\bi_server1\tmp\_WL_user\analytics_11.1.1\7dezjl\war\res\s_blafp\images
Normally no need to restart services; just clear caches and reload files and metadata. Try adding images in these locations and referencing them with HTML from your dashboard. This should give the desired result
HTML syntax for displaying image : <img width=183 height=53 src="res/s_blafp/images/YOURIMAGENAME.jpg">

But fields from Dunning letter setup in applications (first line) is getting truncated to half even after redoing changes it is behaving

Hi Husain...Thanks for immediate response. There is already data being pulled by standard function modules like PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE(copied into Z). Can we use that in simpler way(without the need of any new driver program with all the data population again)? And your answer is correct which I already thought earlier and kept it as a last resort, because I need to populate all the data again, convert spool to pdf and send pdf's to all selected customers And one more thing is that the requirement is to schedule a background job which takes care of sending all the emails . So any more ideas?

AR Statement /Dunning Letter Report Issue

Hi Guys,
I have an issue in the Customer statement report in XMLP. There are two Concurrent Program for this Print Statement (i.e; Print Statement and Statement Generate Program) Here Print Statement runs with respect to the ARXSGPO.rdf file and Statement Generate Program runs with respect to the spawned program.
I followed the following steps to view the output in PDF using XMLP.
1. I used ARXSGPO.rdf which is from "Print Statement" Concurrent Program.
2. I have given the exact short name(ARXSGPO) of Print Statement to the Defination and Template also attachment in XMLP responsibility.
3. When i see the output after both parent (Print Statement) and child(Statement Generate Program) completed successfully. I can able to see the output only in XML format. Obvisouly it should display in PDF format right?..
Do we need any other steps to go through to achieve this AR statement report. Same issue i have with the Dunning letter report. Please drive me if any one already worked for these two reports in xmlp.

Script or smartform for Dunning Letter????

Hi All, I have to develop a SF for Dunning Letter. When I checked in standard Program for Dunning Letter printing, there SSF FM.... But my doubt is can we go for Smartforms??? When I checked in the customization, there is a SF for dunnig letter.. but they didnot use it... So Kindly answer me...

Do we need to write Z driver program?
You donot nee dto write a a driver program.There is a standar program that calls the smartform.if you have to make chnages in it for your requirment, you can just copy this into a z program and change it.

SPRO -> fin accounting -> acc recv & payables -> business transaction -> dunning -> printout -> Assign dunning Form.
-- Cant we go for the Standard prog as it also has the SSF FM??
as i mentioned above, yes you have to use the standard program. Only thing if you intend to make changes in program then you will have to copy it to a z program.

Dear,
This feature of precalculating reports is to enhance the report performance. You will need to schedule this periodically, so that the report is fetched and cached. This allows faster retrieval of report data. Plz. understand that, this scheduling needs to run after every data load in the corresponding cube, so that, the latest data is cached, else the report data will be obsolete.

Hi Ramu,
By MIX values, do you mean you are getting a * in the resultant row, and when you drill down by a certain characteristic you get multiple values of different units ? Please do give more details so that the forum can help you better.

Wrong data values displayed for YTD in reports

Hi,
In my reports when i try to select measures as YTD, eg. March 2010 YTD, i get wrong values for entities. But, apart from YTD, i get absolutely correct values if i select measures as anually, quarterly or monthly.
I have checked ISBEGINNING property in time dimension and assigned values as 0 and 1 for the respective values. I have also checked if i have any wrong statements in dbo.measureformula in SQL server Management studio which might give wrong calculations but could not find any.
Please guide me through.

Help need for Dunning letter (F150)

I have a problem with dunning letter
In level 1 only the client needs Two tables data , In table one i need to print the over due items only and in table two i need to display all items(it may overdue or not) in main window.
In debug i have find PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE (FM is triggring).
i have printed the table one data by using the text elements 530 - Line item heading , 531-- Line item line layout ,
My question is how to print the Table two data, i didnt find other text elements for solving the problem.
in this case what needs to be done, can we create the same text elements like 530 & 531 & 581 & 582.

I got the Result by doing the below process..
Dunning outputs use the function module FI_DUNNING_PRINT_NOTICE. You can copy this to a Z function module and make some changes to the data selection. You will have to look into the code and decide what changes you need.
The process to use a bespoke program to do the dunning print is as follows:
UNDER FI GLOBAL SETTINGS in the configuration,
There are Business Transaction Events. Within that you can configure the same to enable a Z function module in place of the standard function module (from the FUNCTION GROUP F150)
u2022 Create function group ZFTP_F150
u2022 Copy standard function module FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE of function group F150 to ZFTP_FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE in function group ZFTP_F150
u2022 Copy standard function module PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE of function group F150 to ZFTP_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE in function group ZFTP_F150
u2022 Within the function module ZFTP_FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE, change function module call for PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE to ZFTP_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE
u2022 Create a new include ZFTPI_ROUTINES within the function group and copy the subroutines LOG_MSG, LOG_MSG_TAB, & LOG_SYMSG from the function group F150 to this include
AS AN ALTERNATE, YOU CAN COPY THE WHOLE FUNCTION GROUP
u2022 Maintenance view TBE31 (SM30). Change the function module from FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE to ZFTP_FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE against the event 00001720 FI-FI entry

Getting OPP Error for XML Publisher report

Default value don't get displayed for Fetch XML report

Hi All;
i have a date parameter in a fetch XML report
i set its default value as 01/01/2010
when i run this report in SSRS i can see the default value of the date
But when the same report gets displayed on CRM 2013 online - report section the date default value dont get displayed
Any help for this much appreciated

I am afraid that you have mixed the WCF and WCF Data Service, here is a WCF Service example(it works with the Entity Framework while it is not WCF Data Service):

What is best way to get LCD display for Mac mini?

Just got Mac Mini but when I connect it to my Samsung LCD the display quality is crap. What is the best way to get HD resolution, (maximum quality) from this set up?

I did try all of the settings on the LCD display. It is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Built in 2011 by Samsung as a HD TV, computer monitor and audio/video combo. I just let the Mac mini select the appropriate settings when I did initial startup last night. I It came with an HDMI to DVI adapter which (to me) implies I need to get the male end of the DVI adapter to connect to the 9 pin (PC input). Current HDMI is working but just not the "wow factor" that I expected from the Mac mini. Compatibiltiy issue of some kind; input/output, settings, software update, or user error Was trying to avoid getting a new monitor.

Unable to get another schema for the same Report!

Hi All,
I've created a report with data retrieved from three different schema's, but when I add a fourth schema with it's name before the query retrieved and run the report, it gives me that: table or view does not exist!
Why does the report get the three schema's and refused the fourth one!? and how to solve the problem?
Note: I am using reports 6i.

Report Pdf output getting Junk characters for some boiler Plate fields

Hi All
For Dunning Letter Report registered in Oracle Applications,made changes in Column headings like added customer number as Kunde for German Letter
but in pdf output it's appearing as junk characters even date field is happening like that. It's happening for German, Spanish, Italy and French Letters. Working ok for Netherlands, English.
any input to fix this solution will be great

Maybe you check the NLS_LANGUAGE-settings on the client where you "edit" the reports-definition.

Dunning Letter XML not displaying XML version of Dunning Letter

I have changed the Output Format for "Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate" to XML. When I run the Dunning Letter Generate process, though, the XML output in the Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate does not display the XML of the Dunning Letter. Instead, the following XML is displayed:

Is there any specific setup required to generate the appropriate XML for the Dunning Letter?

It is definitely possible to use XML Publisher for dunning letters. I would suggest your sample run did not select anything for dunning as the XML looks correct otherwise. The problem with this approach is that it is not a single step process to get the letters. You will only ever get XML from the dunning letter print report as there is nowhere in the submission screen to tell it what template to use. Therefore you will need to modify the after report trigger to submit the XML Report Publisher concurrent program to automatically pick up the XML and create the letters.
You might want to look at the standard functionality in collections or advanced collections (not sure about collections but definitely in advanced) as there is some standard functionality in there for Dunning which uses XML Publisher templates. The setup is a bit onerous (not sure what the developers were thinking) but at least you can use XMLP as standard.
