To get rid of * in the total result of all key figures.

Hi all,
           I have one query and in that I have three characteristics and one key figure. and corresponding to each characteristics my key figures values are added. But due to different units of measure in the grand total a star(*) is appearing and the thing is that I cant change the design meas do not want to change the design.I want to get rid of this . Plz help me out in this I need to solve this urgently.
       query is like this:
characteristics                    keyfigure

                                              200

grand total                            900* units of measure are different.

Hi,
The asterisk (*) value is maintained in the Mixed values tab of transaction RSCUSTV4. You can replace the asterisk with any text you want to display in the report.
If you select Mixed values checkbox below, the numeric value from mixed currencies/units will be displayed in the report.
But please remember that, any changes you make in Transaction RSCUSTV4 is a Global setting and will affect all the queries.
NODIM is the better option as it will affect only the required keyfigures in a query.

PO is getting released even if the total amount is less than the last PO am

Purchase Order is getting released even if the total amount is less than the last PO amount. The release strategy is only working for the first Purchase Order and if the PO amount is greater than the last PO amount.
Please let me know how to correct this scenario (release strategy).

Release strategy has nothing do with the previous PO amount. May be, Co-incidently the amount in previous PO which you are referring and the characteristics value maintained in the release strategy is same.
1) Please go in release strategy by the path mentioned below
IMG u2013 Material Management u2013 Purchasing u2013 Purchase Requisition u2013 Release Procedure u2013 Procedure with Classification u2013 Set Up Procedure with Classification
2) Then go to release strategy. Here the total available release strategies would be displayed. Double click the strategy which is getting reflected in the PO you want and go the classifiction tab. There you will get the PO value. Based on this characteristic value the respective release streategy gets refelected.

This should help you empty what's currently in the trash, but is no guarantee you got everything related to MacKiller off the drive. See Ogelthorpe's link.

Both the button and the total cost appear to have been removed in the current version of iTunes - I don't have them either and other people have posted about it as well. You can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe they'll be added back in a future update : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Do you have an idea about the table name or tcode to count the number of Dimensions and Key Figures of an Infocube WITHOUT installing the cube from Business Content?

Hi,
You can't do that because there's no active table in the system for the Business Content since it hasn't been installed yet...
One thing you could do is go to the Business Content Tab, select "Infoproviders by InfoArea" on the left side, look for the Cube or DSO you want to check, right click on it and select "Display Description".
On the window that opens you'll have a list of all InfoObjects and Key Figures. You also have the option to Display it as Start Schema, where you can see the Dimensions, etc.

How do I disable (get rid of, entirely) the sidbar on the left?

The sidebar takes up too much space and distracts. I would like to make it go away completely and never come back. I have found answers telling me how to close it (click the little cross) or how to make it smaller (pull right-hand side over) but none that tell me how to get rid of it for ever.
Did I miss something?

What is opening in the sidebar?
You can toggle the Bookmarks sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebar > Bookmarks" or Ctrl+B (Command+B on Mac) 
You can toggle the History sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebar > History" or Ctrl+H (Command+H on Mac)
Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website. 
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac). 
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right. 
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected. 
You can also check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

I have a list with almost 10000 items. I have a view that should be returning 8 items. For me, the Farm Admin, I see the full set of expected values. The message "Displaying only the newest results below. To view all results, narrow your query by
adding a filter" shows for other users. This makes no sense -
there ARE filters on this view. I'd rather not increase the throttle limit.

Check that the list is not scoped by an audience; but, I'm afraid that either way admin, (e.g. non Farm admin or site collection admin)
I'd recommend exporting to excel, create two new spreadsheets and then import as custom lists.

Everytime I open Firefox I get a page from Video Download Helper. How do I get rid of this page once and for all?

Since two days, everytime I open firefox an extra tab opens up from Download Helper.
I close it everytime, but it's getting annoying.
I've tried the Extra - Options screen, I've tried the Help with Firefox screen , I can't seem to find a solution.
Please help me get rid of it before I might toss my screen out the window in a few days...

Did you check for problems with the file prefs.js in the Firefox Profile Folder and rename or delete the file?
Windows may be hiding the .js file extension, so check the Properties via the right-click context menu to be sure.

Get rid of Adobe Reader FOREVER & still read all PDFs online?

I have this problem. I hate ADOBE ACROBAT READER. I install it when I have to, and more and more it seems that if I want to look at a PDF online, Preview doesn't get the chance because the Adobe Reader butts in and reports that it can't find an Adobe Reader compatible program.
Or that I must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the PDF and do I want to download Adobe Acrobat Reader?
Or something similar.
Is there any SIMPLE way to get rid of Adobe Acrobat Reader altogether once and for all, so that I never have to see it, or use it, or think about it again?
If there is, I would MUCH appreciate a HOW TO because it's making me ill.
PREVIEW is great for what I need, and if I could just get PREVIEW to take over all PDF duties, I'd be fine.
Alternatively, if there's another PDF reader/writer etc. for Mac, I'd pay real money for it if necessary.

It may be necessary to go to Adobe's website to find an uninstaller.
Preview should automatically take over the job.
I don't have Acrobat and have no problems so far.
I removed it about six months ago when it's major vulnerabilities to malware were pointed out.
Never follow links from pop-ups that say you need a new version of Acrobat, Flash or other software (video codecs are a favourite) as they stand a high chance of being re-directs to malware sites.
Always check the latest versions from your own bookmarks to the vendor sites.

How to permanently get rid of ads, pop up surveys and all pop ups

I have recently been getting bombarded with pop ups, ads and surveys coming up on pretty much every Web page I visit. Iv tried many different things to get rid of this. Iv download ad block plus, iv removed all extensions and iv reset firefox to default settings. Resetting firefox did fix this for about 10 days but now it is happening again and is getting very frustrating. Any ideas would be appreciated

Is this problem on Windows or Mac? (I assume it is not on Android.)
If the problem is on Windows, here's my suggested procedure for tracking down and cleaning those up:
(1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program (on XP: Add/Remove Programs). After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
(2) Open Firefox's '''Add-ons page''' using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click '''Plugins'''. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click '''Extensions'''. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any improvement?
(3) You can search for remaining issues with the '''scanning/cleaning tools''' listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. These on-demand scanners are free and take considerable time to run. If they finish quickly and especially if they require payment, you may have a serious infection.
