If everything else that you try fails, I would try using another computer. Since you don't care about saving any data, any computer that is running the latest version of iTunes might be able to restore the iPad. You could make an appointment at an Apple Store Genius Bar and they can do it for you.
If that isn't feasible for you, try using a different cable, a different USB port. reboot the computer, and reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then try again.

That link doesn't tell you how to remove the Panoroma Tab Groups!! My main issue with it is that along my tabs at the top I no longer have the tab to open a new tab. Instead I have to click on the tab groups and then open them and click on an open area in the tab to get a new tab opened!! Is there a way to add that? I don't see that when I go to customize the tool bar as there's no icon to add it, just one to open a new window, which I don't want to do!! Thanks!!

Whenever you change your credit card info you will get a temporary $1 holding charge which is made to check that the details that you have entered are correct and that the card is active - the charge should disappear from your card within a few days. When you get a call it has some small icons of reminding and message and one white ugly "slide to answer" bar.*** seriously?
People complained about the green bar in IOS 7.0.3. You can't please everyone with everything. Deal with it and move on. Or you can just get a Droid phone and suffer through the bizarre interface changes.
A lot of people would really appreciate a release with the old interface back.
People complained about every interface change that Apple has tried. As I said earlier, you can't please everyone with everything. The interface is what it is, learn it, deal with it, or move on to something more to your liking. I think they still make flip phones.

Check that your automatic updates setting has not changed. I recommend "Ask me what I want to do".
If you have the orange Firefox button, tap the Alt key to display the classic menu bar, then
Tools > Options > Advanced > Update mini-tab

Here's the process to roll back:

Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

Can I just reinstall Snow and then plug in my time machine and go back and not lose anything. Please help Mavrick is getting me mader by the mintue. Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads
Content imported from your CDs will have to imported again
The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these). Without details of the issues you're seeing it is difficult to suggest a remedy other than going through the media album-by-album, track-by-track, and correcting the inconsistencies.
In the absence of a backup or access to the original library data there is no option other than painstakingly recreating your library as described above. As you do so, you'll now realize how important creating and maintaining backups are - in my case I have at all times three separate duplicates of my library, in two different locations, where none is ever more than a week old compared to the content of my master library.

QuickBooks Pro and Keyboard don't like eachother

Please help. Does anyone know why my keyboard (any, have plugged in different keyboards to fix problem, doesn't seem to matter) will freeze up sometimes and not allow me to type in QuickBooks Pro for mac? The problem is quite disconcerting and causes delays while at work. I am running QB 2006 on a brand new MacMini with a new aluminum flat keyboard (not wireless).

Is the problem isolated to just QuickBooks? Do the keyboards work in other applications, like TextEdit, MS Word, or iWorks?

On certain pages of a website, get a Javascript:void(0) in status bar and no response to the action but clicking on same object works in IE. I am not a developer, just a user and I don't like IE!

When I click on some buttons on certain pages of certain websites, there is no response and "javascript:void(0)" is flashed in the status bar; then "Done". When I click on same button on same site/page in IE, it works fine. Have detailed one site/page but this is not the only one. I am not a developer, just a user, so please keep it simple!

Such links usually have an onclick attribute that does the actual action. 
Make sure that you do not block [[JavaScript]]
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). 
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
