"To" in Grey Box Next to Subject - What Is It???

Hi All,
I recently noticed that for some but not all of my incoming emails there is the word "To" in a grey box to the left of the subject line.
Does anybody know what this represents?
Thanks,
Daniel

This means the sender of the email added your email address for the email account the message was recieved by in the To: field. If the sender added your email address in the Bcc: field for the recieved message, To: would not be available. There is a show To:/Cc: label on/off selection for recieved messages. When on if the sender adds your email address in the Cc: field for the recieved message, Cc: would be shown instead.

  • Grey boxes instead of pictures in pdf

All pictures in my pdf is grey boxes instead of pictures - what's wrong?
I use Acrobat 9 Pro (just startet with cs4).

    Hi Bad AD,
Doubt you still have this issue but the quick fix to being able to view the document is to go to:
    Acrobat
      >Preferences
         >Documents
           >Find the Header:
                   PDF/A View Mode
View Documents in PDF/A mode:  Make picklist value: "Always"
    This should resolve it.
PDF/A mode is the international standard for long term document archiving. If you are interested in learning more about it, Click here to go to Wikipedia's explanation.
Hope it helps for you and anyone else who gets this message!

  • What does the grey box and brush in some project bin images mean?

Using Elements 10 with Windows 7:  What does the small grey box and brush in the upper right corner of some project bin images signify?  Thanks!

Thanks!  Yes, it does seem to be random.  BTW, how did you learn of this?  I've not seen it written anywhere.

    Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

  • Images are grey boxes (Acrobat 9.5.2)

Acrobat 9.5.2 is displaying many images as blank grey boxes for one of my users.  She even opened up a PDF she did a few months ago that worked fine back in June, but now today it is also showing just blank grey boxes.
All the text is intact.  Tables are good, lines are good, its just images, which in our case are graphs that one of our accounting programs export to PDF.
I can view the file fine and so can another coworker.  The other coworker is on 9.0.0 and I am on 9.5.1.  I'm trying a repair install through windows xp appwiz.cpl by choosing adobe acrobat 9 standard and doing modify and clicked next through the prompts.
Any idea whats going on here?

The solution was in Adobe Acrobat menu bar go to:
    Edit > Preferences>Page Display>
under Page content and information check the box
    "show large images"

  • Grey boxes around my flash elements?

I currently run a website that is set up with several flash
elements butted up next to each other using tables (
    http://www.deltasoniccarwash.com).
This method used to be fine. The tables were invisible to the user.
With the latest update of internet explorer this is no longer the
case for pc users. Now when my site is viewed in Explorer 7 (on a
PC) grey boxes appear highlighting my table when a user scrolls
over them. My flash rollovers do not work until a person clicks
into the box. I've looked at several other flash sites and this
problem is not seeming to affect them. Can someone please point out
what I'm doing wrong. Thank You.

Geez... two years now it's been like this and this question
    is _still_ being
asked. Go figure... Just use SWFObject.

  • Identifying BT grey box inside prospective leased ...

    Hi,
My wife is intending to lease an office that used to be used by the Police.
She is trying to find out what BT infrastructure is alerday fitted and how that may be of use to her business.
There is an eternet network set upa nd two telephone points in each of 5 offices.
They all run down to a cabinet which presumably held a swithcing system and router.
it all looks very new and will be useful fro internal connections.
Sorting out whatb usiness package we need from BT is another story and we'd like to know what equipment is already installed before deciding on what to buy.
In a cupboard just inside the front door is a grey box with BT on it. It is about 25 x 20 x 10 cm and has a lockable vertical long handle on the front.
Does anyone know what this box may be?
Sorry for no picture, I may be going back so can post it up.
We are wondering if it is going to be useful in anyway with the needs of the business?
The landlord doesn't know what the police installed through the offices, so it may be security related?

    toekneem wrote:
Its not like this is it.
If not, then maybe try and get a pic if you go back.
That would be for a single residential connection (an External NTE)
Sounds like the box you describe is a box connection that may be the external DP (distribution point) for the building, that would go off to sub DPs within the building.
BT would be responsible for gettingthe line to where ever you require it in the building so dont worry abot that.

  • Animated gif is only output as a grey box

    Hi,
I'm using CS4 and am trying to make an animated GIF. I've got it all set up and when I play it in Photoshop everything is fine. I then go to File > Save for web and then choose GIF in the dialog box and leave all other boxes alone. In the Optimized window my images are missing and only a grey box is shown. When I hit Save and then open the resulting GIF in a browser, all I get is that grey box and not the animation with my 8 frames. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
