To include logo in layout

Hi everybody,
I want to know how to include a company's logo in a layout as a header.The layout that i have with me is in GIF format.The name of the logo is logo.gif
How it can be done?

1. RSTXLDMC
   This is the standard SAP Program
   to UPLOAD .TIF files.
   Please convert your gif file
   to .TIF file
   (may be using PHOTO EDITOR , KODAK Image Editor , etc)
2. Use this program,
   to upload this image.
   This program has OPTIONS
   like Colour logo,B&W logo,
   Positioning (absolute or relative)
These options are also important !
Because they will Specify where the logo
appears in your sapscript
(Top Left, Bottom, Middle Etc)
(However, using window in layout,
   and including logo in that window,
we can FURTHER CONTROL the POSITION of logo)
3. /: INCLUDE XXYYZZ OBJECT TEXT ID ST
   Use this above line
   in your sapscript layout
   to include the logo.
   (XXYYZZ is the name by which u uploaded
   thru the above program)

Follow these steps....... hope this will help you.
1. The logo should be of Bitmap Image.
2 Goto SE78-> Graphics-> Import.
Give filename as the location where your logo is present.
In save as:
Name - your desired name for the logo
Descriotion - description of your logo
type- either Black& White or Color according to ur Requirement.
In print attributes
Check both Reserve high automatically and compression and press ENTER.
After that Transport this Bitmap image.
And in Form u can directly use the name of the Logo with which u have saved it.
In smartforms
in the page where you want to print the logo, create a graphic window.
Name: name of the logo
object: graphics
id: bmap
select the radio button according to your requirement(b&w, or color..)
and resolution of your wish.
And in the conditions tab give the condition according to the requirement(acc. to the company code..)

can ne1 tell me how do i include graphic logo in the form?? here, i am referring to the logos we can access by TXN SE78 (the ones we use while working with SAPscripts and smartforms)

Hi,
some pointers -
If it is a static logo, you can directly paste it. or else, you can give the link in the object pallette, or to my knowledge, there is an option in the context tab of the SFP transaction to bind an image to one ofthe fields to store the link.

Including logo in report ?

We are building report using "Build report using dynamic template" and want to include the company logo with the report. However, if we put the logo, save the report and when its opened again the logo is gone. Is there a way we can save this report with the company logo attached to it.
using 7.0 NW version.

hello,
please try to run the report outside apps. it might be, that the report is modified by apps prior to beeing run.
if it works fine outside, which i am sure it will, i am afraid you have to contact your apps support to check with them.
sorry for not beeing more specific, but it is very complicated to find problems as long as they only reporduce in the apps-environment.

Cannot include Logo Image in Mail Signature for Email

Hi
I am trying to simply include a small 3 kb GIF file
in my Mail signature for my professional Email Account
and the problem is:
1. When I drag and drop the GIF file into my Signature field,
it automatically scales it up like 100% and is huge, pixelated and blurry
2. For some reason, when I try this same thing in All Signature field,
it works fine
Problem is, I still cannot get my professional email account, the one I want
to have the GIF logo in, to have this image

No that's not necessary. those can be on your local computer. I think you are almost there. save the html file, open it in safari, save it as webarchive and substitute it for the webarchive with the dummy signature.

Not able to access Site logo from layout and css After removing all the permission from site

Hi Techis,
I have stucked here, actually I have removed permissions from all the users from the site and after sometime I got the mails from client that they are not able to access the Site logo and css in the site.
When I logged from Farm account and checked I can see everything working fine.Also the masterpage and all are checked in
I am not getting whats the exact issue.I stucked here from last one day Please help me to solve this issue.

Is it the publishing site? If so then go to site permission and provide permission to "NT AUTHORITY\authenticated users" to "Style Resource Readers" group.
You also need to make sure that "style library" is inheriting permission from parent otherwise you need to give at least read permission to library for all users. To verify this, just open view all site content page-->then click on style library,then
check permission.

How to include one layout into other layout in Oracle Site studio designer

Hi all,
I have created the Header as on layout(This is my project specific even if we can go for fragments) in oracle site studio designer. It is the same case for footer, Left Nav. All these are primary pages in different sections. Now I have created the new primary page in different section, I would like to include all these layouts in to one layout and show the preview i,.e Header in the header place. Footer in the footer place.
First of all, will it be possible? If so, could you please tell me how to go about this?
As I am new to this site studio designer, I am really clueless in this matter. Please come forward with ideas.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What is the version of Site Studio are you using?
Do you want your layouts to be editable by contributors or you want to pick things from the content server and show?

Dynamic layout elements determination logic for output of Pro-Forma Invoice

This is my requirement below. Please give the suggestion
Business requires output to be generated in name of the client, with client logo and scenario specific data elements. To do this in Standard SAP will require to define hundreds and hundreds of layouts. By making most of the client/scenario elements on the layout we can greatly reduce the number of required layouts and reduce implementatuion effort and lead-time.
     The goal is to define a generic table that will hold most of the dynamic layout elements for different document types and countries, including logo, sender address etc.
      For this we will create Z-versions of the output types BA00 ( Order Confirmation, ZPRI (Pro-Forma Invoice) and RD00 (ZD00 Invoice).The layout text blocks will be permanently fixed.The print Program user-exit should call the Z-table that holds the dynamic layout elements and retrieve these elements and merge them with the matching layout text block.

   Even I have faced the similar situation.but what we have done is instead of calling the dynamic text elements..Why don't we call the text elements based on the required condition ,Then u dont have to maintain all the text elements required in the table.In the table we can only have the doumnent type,client name,logo name and address.
In the print program if u r using script layout then call the required text elements (write_text) based on the client name and document type that is fetched from the Z-table,Otherwise if u r going for smartforms then with in the layout give the condition under the conditions node of the window or the text.

Putting logo (image) using SO* _API1 FM

Is there a way of inserting an image within the mail program ?
The requirement is that the client wants a mail to go on confirmation of a Sales Order but with the company's logo. And it has to be in the body of the message and not as an attachment.

Hello Ameekar,
having other text layouts (bold/italic/size...), tables or images integration within a mail text prerequesites the use of the HTML-Mail-Format.
If you finally solved the problem of how sending an HTML-Mail out of SAP-Office's API's you will still have the problem that not every mail-reader on the customer's side will be able to read it.
I e.g. do not read eMails in html format (only the plain/text version) because of various security risks.
I would propose to use a separate, custom-made, background task or some other solution that uses SAP-Script to produce a very nice order confirmation including logo etc., then take this output and convert it to pdf format (there are some posts in the ABAP-Forum that tell you how to do this) and then attach this PDF.
This way you will be sure that all the layout and design will be opened and read as-is at the customer's side.
By the way: I doubt that SAPOffice sends html-formatted mails anyhow. But other contributes are very welcome to correct me.

You have to import your logo in SAP by SE78 before using it in a SAPSCRIPT.
So have you done it?
If yes, it depends on how you have imported the logo:
- As std text:
INCLUDE <LOGO TEXT> OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE <LANGUAGE>
- As graphic:
BITMAP <LOGO GRAPHIC> OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BCOL

Print Logo in Classic Report (Write Method,Not ALV)

Hi All,
I'm currently doing conversion of the All the Classic Report with addition of Header with 'LOGO'.
I'm willing to find out that Function (CALL FUNCTION 'WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT') is only able for display but not show out during printing.
Is that any method, I can do it(Print with Logo) without conversion to SAP Script or Smartform that was exhausted.
*Please take note is Classic Report with Write Method (Line by Line), Not ALV.

It is possible to include logo in classical report but its not possible to print logo in classical report. It can be done in ALV's.
Write the code in Top-of-page event in ALV.
The following is the code for inserting the logo in ALV.
FORM TOP_OF_PAGE.
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
       EXPORTING
           I_LOGO             = 'ENJOYSAP_LOGO'
            IT_LIST_COMMENTARY = GT_LIST_TOP_OF_PAGE.

How to ... Generate PDF from BexWAD Application with company Logo in header

Hi all profis,
I read many theories (on-line help, sdn forum, google) about creating a PDF document with pictures, logos, texts and so on, but in each of them is some "...but, limitations, only if ..."
The easiest way, I guess is to create a BexWAD Application with item "REPORT" and "ANALYSIS ITEM".
In REPORT - a crystal report page, is saved company logo with text
ANALYSIS item includes data
Via Export (into PDF) those both items has to be exported. The only topic is, how to repeat the report item on each page of a PDF document? There is a possibility to repeat column names, but not a company logos as a header.
I will ask in general -> Does someone has a solution, how to export data from SAP BI into PDF including Logo and Text(Company Adress) in header (which will repeat on each page) ??

I have another idea to create a PDF file with company logo and hierarchical structure of data.
Via Report designer, it is not possible to display data in hierarchical structure, but it is possible to add logo (picture) into header.
Via WADWeb Application designer, it is possible to display data with a hierarchy, but a logo is not shown on each page.
Via InformationBroadcaster, there is a possibility to add into header a free text. There is an option <PR_ONLINE_LINK> . Can I create another element (new, own one), which will contain a picture? How can I edit this element <PR_ONLINE_LINK> ? Would it be possible to add there a picture?

INCLUDE: Include other texts
With the command INCLUDE, you can include the contents of another text into your text. The text to be included exists separately from yours and is only copied at the time of the output formatting.With the INCLUDE command, you always get the most current version of the required text, since this is only read and inserted during the output formatting.
Syntax:
/: INCLUDE name [OBJECT o] [ID i] [LANGUAGE l] [PARAGRAPH p] [NEW-PARAGRAPH np]
The name of the text to be inserted must be specified and can have up to a maximum of 70 characters. If the text name contains blanks, then you must put it in quotes as a literal. It can also be specified via a symbol. All further parameters of the INCLUDE command are optional. If they are missing, SAPscript uses default values for them which are based on the respective call environment.
Examples:
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT
The text MYTEXT is included in the language of the calling text.
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT LANGUAGE E PARAGRAPH A1
The text with the name MYTEXT and the language E is included, regardless of in which language the calling text is created. The paragraph format A1 is valid as the standard paragraph for this call.
Optional specifications:
LANGUAGE If a language is not specified, the language of the calling text or the layout set is set for the text to be included. If a language is specified, the text is always loaded in this language, regardless of the language of the calling text.
PARAGRAPH The text to be included is formatted with the style allocated to it. With this parameter, the standard paragraph of this style can be redefined for the current call. All * paragraphs of the inserted text are then formatted with the paragraph specified here.
NEW-PARAGRAPH The first line of the included text has this format flag, provided it is not a command or comment line. If the optional entry PARAGRAPH (see above) is empty, all * paragraphs of the included text are formatted with the paragraph np specified with
NEW-PARAGRAPH.
OBJECT To specify a text completely, you must make further specifications regarding the text object. There are different rules and restrictions for this which depend on the object type of the calling text: All texts can be included in a layout set. If no object is entered here, TEXT is used (standard texts).With a documentation text (object DOKU), you can only include documentation texts. This object is assumed even if no object is specified in this environment. Only hypertext or documentation text can be included into a hypertext (object DSYS). If the OBJECT specification is missing, DSYS is set as a default value.
Only standard text (object TEXT), documentation text or hypertext can be included in any other type of text. The default object is TEXT if nothing is entered.
ID The text ID, which allows further text types within an object, is a further part of the text key. If the ID is not entered, the default Include ID from table TTXID is used for the calling text. If the specification is not in this table, the text ID of the calling text is used.
The ID together with the object are now the basis of a further consistency check:
All text IDs are allowed for a layout set.
Only documentation texts with the text IDs TX (general texts), UO (authorization objects), and documentation texts which have the same text ID as the calling documentation text may be included in documentation texts.
All DSYS texts may be included in DSYS texts, regardless of their ID. Documentation texts to be inserted may only have IDs TX and UO.
Standard texts with all the allowed text IDs, DSYS texts with all IDs, and documentation texts with Ids TX and UO may be included in the other types of texts.

ASP Includes in Dreamweaver cs3

Hi all,
My issue is that I can't get more than 1 include to display
in the editor view of dreamweaver...I have all my settings setup
correctly for my site, but it fails to show anything past the first
one. I don't ever use this editor view, but my boss is going to
take over the site when I leave so he needs to be able to view
stuff in the editor view because he has zero code experience...Any
ideas? Here's a generic page of code...
