To load or not to load included software with the 60g iPod Photo?

I have a brand new "older" 60g iPod photo. It came with instructions to load software from included CD. Apparently, the software is more than just the iTunes software. Do I dare to load it? All my other iPods have been "plug and play" into my iTunes.

Apparently, the software is more than just the iTunes software.
Aside from iTunes, only the iPod updater is included on the disk, and that was incorporated into iTunes 7. You don't need to and shouldn't use the CD.

Because it doesn't recognise them as valid addresses - just as the error message says.
Firefox is similar : Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (fhp) isn't associated with any program.

It is 802.11g.express. but is set to default by the computer (Macbook Air).

Have you run it in a debugger? That will show you exactly what is happening and why.

Tried the solution from another thread but did not work completely (as warned) - the workaround didn't quite work for me either:

Ended up taking a backup, did a fresh install, created the account as the first one so that it gets the same UID as the other Mac (on which my account was the first) and restored my data - was painful but finally on track.

Icloud backup - my ipad is hung with the dialogue box saying "this iPad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. Backup happen when this iPad is plugged in locked and connected to WiFi". Even after doing what is said, I am not able to do anything with the iPad -

I too have been having this issue since about 12/14. That is around the same time I got the Ipad for my kids. I am unsure if it is related. I have tried logging out of icloud/deleting it and trying again. Removing most of the apps to sync. I reset my router. All of the attempts have produced zero results. Adobe Illustrator Draw will not export to desktop Illustrator with the photo layer turned on. This severely strains my workflow and makes it incredibly hard to add the image after it is exported to the desktop Illustrator. Is this being fixed??

This is a new bug in our latest release, and we apologize for not catching it before it went out. We are putting together a patch to address the issue. The only workaround at this point is to delete the photo and then send to Illustrator again.
