"To:" mail field changed without my action

Hello All,
I'm a little worried about this. I just noticed that for many of the emails that are in my inbox in Apple mail, the "To:" field on received messages has been changed to "Holidays in Viet Nam." with my email address <between the carrots>. There's no functionality loss, but, to be best of my knowledge, I definitely did not change that setting. So the question is, who/what did. Can anyone help me track this this down? I've posted a screenshot. What controls that "to:" field and how can I deal with it? Just to be clear, this is one example: the problem seemingly has been applied retroactively (but not uniformly) for months of emails. Have I been hacked? What gives?

If the full name for your email address account is not appearing correctly, then I'd like you to please check your Mail settings, to ensure your full name is configured correctly.

Mail settings changing without user input

I have several Mail accounts set up in the following manner (let's please ignore the fact that have far to many accounts, I have collected them as family members came onto the net and in teh process of setting their ISPs up made accounts for myself):
Several gmail accounts........ working properly
a .mac account in IMAP....... working properly
POP accounts with ISP(a) using APOP auth. working properly
POP accounts with ISP(b) using password auth.. working properly
POP accounts with ISP(c) using password auth.. working properly until the settings somehow change to APOP auth on their own
Edit: SSL is only enabled on the gmail accounts
Things will be working properly for accounts with ISP(c) and then randomly the advanced settings will change themselves from Password authentication to APOP authentication. At which point the accounts will register offline and, upon setting them to go online, will fail to change status without generating an error.
The only way to return to normal operation is to reset the authentication method to Password at which point any messages still on the server(auto-deleted after 1 week) are re-downloaded resulting in duplicate messages in my inbox.
In case it was some kind of syncing problem of my account settings with .mac I reset the .mac sync and refreshed the backup while everything was working properly.
Outside that my only solution has been to reset to Password authentication and go through the process of deleting a weeks worth of duplicate emails. This is seriously annoying and never happened under OS X Tiger. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've done both. I only have one mac and I have completely removed the profile from .mac and loaded a new one. Still, randomly changes from 'password' authentications to 'APOP' authentication.
I have checked the keychain as well, not a single duplicate entry(I routinely delete some of the 'oops saved the wrong password' entires just to keep things clean).

Can your Mail Preferences change without your knowledge?

Recently I noticed that my sent messages were gone, all but about 4 weeks or so. I checked account preferences on my MacBook Pro (fully updated to Mavericks) and it had "Delete Sent Messages From Server" set to "Never". My other iMac also set to the same setting. 2 iOS devices syncing to the account.
It continued to happen. I called Apple. They remotely rebuilt my email. Still did not repopulate Sent folder but did repopulat Inbox.
I called a week later (today) and went back to look at MacBook Pro mail preference settings on the accont and it had been changed from "Never" to "After One Month" (??!!??)
I didn't make this change, nor anyone in my house. Could this have changed in some way without my knowledge? I can't get my emails back (thanks Apple!!) but I don't want it to randomly happen again. They insist I am crazy and the only way it would have changed is if I, after a decade with the same preferences, went in specifically to change it.
Is this possible? Or am I truly losing my mind???

I can understand your concern. I want to make sure that everything is okay with the account. To get the unlimited removed from the account normally a person would have to request a plan change, upgrade a device on the account, or if you had to activate a basic phone on the line for a period of time. Mail preferences don't stick or are changed without any user actions

Apple Mail keeps changing the settings of my IMAP account. I set the Mailbox Behavior options to certain values, and then - after few days - the settings are changed. It typically happens with the settings used to enable/disable the storing of draft and sent messages on the server. It seems it is a quite common issue.
Has anybody found a solution?

SAME.. i have one account i DONT want to NOT check mail automatically on otherwise i get double messages.
I can have both my macs open and check the same setting on both and know theyre set exactly the same (so i know its not .mac 'syncing' the prefs)
It will sit there open and be the same for an hour or so. then suddenly i start getting doubled up mail arriving, i check the prefs and lo and behold its changed to 'check automatically'

Mail is changing my Exchange server address

So I work offsite from my office and the office has it's own Exchange 2007 server. When I add my email to Mail.app, it autodiscovers my settings and properly sets up my account.
The issue happens when I exit the app and re-open the app, I start getting errors and find that Mail.app has changed my internal server address to something different, and I have to change it back again to the right one, ie:
Correct address:
mobile.xxxxxxxxxx.com
Wrong one that Mail.app changes the address to:
exchange.xxxxxxxxxx.com
Anyone know how to keep it from doing that?

Figured it out.
I let Mail.app change the internal server to the exchange.xxxxxxxx.com address, and added the mobile.xxxxxxx.com address to the external server field, and everything works without errors now.

Dispute Case Mail on Changes of Dispute case

Requirement:- In Dispute case if below fields changes mail should trigger to all person through Workflow.
1. Status .of dispute case
2. Processor of Dispute case.
Please guide me to get this logic.

Hello Arun,
Standard SAP provides a workflow(WF01700044 feeds to WF01700051) that will only send notification when a processor changes and that processor isnt a regular process.
in your case you will have to create Events in the business object BUS2022 that will trigger for status change. there is already a standard event for processor change in BUS2022. you will have to call the event from the BADI UDM_STORE_EVENTS_C specific for dispute workflows.
you will have to copy and modify the existing workflow to send notification per your need for both of your scenarios.
Also for your second scenario if you do not maintain any users in the config "Define Regular Processor for Dispute Cases" per say. than a workflow is triigered and notifcation is sent by standard SAP

Workflow - Wait for field change

Hi All,
I am just starting to experiment with sharepoint 2013 (in office365) workflows and am running into an issue.
What I am trying to create is a sort of approval workflow in which multiple people need to approve the item. I created a column for each department that needs to approve the item and the default value for the column is 'awaiting approval'.
So the first department gets an email that they need to approve or deny the item. I want the workflow to wait for the value 'awaiting approval' gets changed and if it changes to deny stop the workflow, else go to the next department.
The problem is that 'wait for field change' does not seem to do the trick. I can tell it to wait for the field to change to approved, but if it is denied it won't go further to the denied state.
I guess there is a trick for this but I can't find it. Any ideas?

wait for it to be denied, not both. Basically, just as you say.
I would just have stages ("Awaiting Department 1", "Awaiting Department 2", etc) that is a hidden choice field set by the workflow. Choice fields then for each department for their approval. Conditions on the workflow fire based on the Awaiting Department
field.

SPD Workflow executing twice on Wait for field change

I have a workflow where I have a Wait for field change action. Once the field is changed it sends an email. But it also goes back through the whole workflow again. So it sends 2 emails. How do I correct?
The workflow is set to run on item created and item changed.

Can not register with my primary e-mail or change e-mail

At first, sorry for my English, I'm Ukrainian, and don't know English well.
When I try to register on this forum with my primary e-mail edio [@] ukr.net , I get a message, that this mail is banned. Can it be fixed?
Because e-mail, that I had entered during registration I use only for my college. This helps me to organise my mail.

Find my iPhone alert out of nowhere/ without my action

Last night my iPhone 3G, IOS version 6.1.3 started sounding the "Find my iPhone" alert out of nowhere and without any action by me. I also received the normal email from Apple saying that in fact this had occurred. My iPhone 3G is not connected as a phone, I just use it as an iPod, camera, Apps and so forth. I have an iPhone 4s, iPad and iMac. None of my other devices got the alert. I am familiar with "Find my iPhone” and have used it on occasion. This occurred at home where I have WiFi.
Any ideas as to why this happened?

Find My Phone will work everywhere. However, all a thief has to do is turn the phone off...remove the sim card...or restore the phone as a new device in iTunes to defeat Find My Phone. Reporting your phone stolen to both the police & your carrier should be done immediately. You should also change your password for all email accounts & iTunes. In fact change passwords for anything you ever used a password for on your phone.

Send designer workflow email when certain fields changed?

Is there any way we can handle SharePoint designer workflow sending email. If certain fields only changes.
Like checking with previous value and and current values, if it is different and send email. Now I am able to sending email when list item changes, it doesn't matter which field changes. That way emails are flooding into inbox.
I want send emails when couple fields changes only.
Help is appreciated

Yes very much possible to send email of specific fields change, however workflow will run on each edit but only proceed further when those specific field changes. Keep some hidden column which always will keep changed value for those column. When new value
suppose to change, check with this hidden column values, if different then send mail and update else, stop workflow.

Error on pst file When leave outlook opend without any action for a while

When I leave my outlook opend without any action for a while it reports an error in the pst file and out of memory error,so i have to close outllok then open it again
this problem is general (not just on my pc ), i tried compact for the pst file but the problem still occure.
i use outlook 2007 and sun java System Connector 7.3
my mail server is :
Sun Java System Communications Express 6.3
sun java System Connector 7.3 patch id is 139162-05

_1-when i click on any message the error is:_

*2-when i click on folder such as drafts,sent items ..... the error is : out of memory please close..............*
if i close the outlook then open it again every thing is working well
i monitor the outlook process, it was as the following:

Capture context change without using UDF

Hi,
I need to find context change of a field without using UDF.
I know we can do it in an UDF by comparing with ResultList.CC.
But do we have any graphical constant that notifies a context change?

Hi,
There is no graphical constant by which you can identify a context change without using UDF. However, if you leave the context of the field at the level of the immediate parent and map accordingly, you can handle the contexts directly in your GUI mapping. This however would also depend on your mapping requirements.

Safari preferences are changed without my permission

Safari preferences for cookies are changed from "Third parties...etc" to "Never" without any action on my part and the very annoying "MacKeeper" program pops up all the time. I would like to be able to eliminate whatever is causing these pop ups.
