To make fields display in List view

Hi,
In PCUI, I want to make fields appear in list view in detail area1, these fields appear in form view but when I toggle it to list view it disappears, I have made nescessary settings for field group attributes but I am unable to bring those field visible in list view.
Pls suggest

I have appended custom fields in the screen structure, and functionally it is working fine whenever I create any transaction and it also retrives the data for custom fields when I open any transaction. These fields become visible in form view but not in list view, I have also unchecked n. List in the customizing settings for those fields.
Later I had generated the layout for that field group under my custom view.
In the personalize window only the standared fields are visible custom fields does not appear.
I am not able to understand properly what you are trying to say in this line:
Second possibility, besides have created a field group continaing the actual fields have you also created a field group typoe 'screen structure' responsible for the actual lay out.
Pls suggest where I am going wrong

Hi, I have the following issue. I have a list view web part, but the web part is showing more items that the ones setup in the: Number of items to display in list view web part for this view.
It is because that works when using datasheet view and not a normal view? Is there any technical documentation from Microsoft supporting this?

thank you for your answer. It is interesting that the mobile view with the items to show in the mobile view doesn't work in the webpart, but it works when you are using datasheet view, but if you uncheck to activate the mobile view, then, the webpart doesn't
show information, so, it works partially because one part works and not the other.

How to stop the subject field displaying in list of mail?

Sorry for the spelling I am dyslex..
I like the new layout all virtical in mail 7 BUT in the list of messages it shows the "subject field" how do I stop this field from showing up?
In the clasic view I can change what fields show up (menu "View" - "Message Attributes" and click the fields I want to see) the only problem with the "clasic" view is the horzontial arangments of two of the panels. I used to use "widemail" plugin to get the arangment of panels in the mail program in Snow Leopard.
Apple have made a big thing of seeing the "subject field" in the mail list pannel but for me I have the preview panel open and so the subject and most of the message is displayed there two so I see this info in two places and it all looks a bit crouded.
Can any one help and in the mean time I will be posting this in the feedback site.

Files not displaying in list view?

I recently upgraded my MacPro (early 2008 8core) from Snow Leopard (10.6.8) to Lion.
At first i wanted to do a fresh install on my machine but soon realised it wasnt possible to import old accounts from another internal drive so i opted to upgrade the system instead.
After doing so I was faced with an odd problem of files not displaying in my finder windows when switching through internal drives or changing from 'file view' to 'list view' or 'column view' etc...
The attached screenshots were taken in sequence youll also note that the path bar & top window name dont update either.
The relevant drives are in healthy condition with several tests run over them to ensure their healthy(Disk Utility & Drive Genius). I have also run permissions repair, and a utility to empty cahces etc (OnyX). From what i can see its possibly something to do with the Finder not updating or refreshing the window? The issue seems to be isolated to the drives however intermittently the problem exists deeper into the directory on 'TerraTank' Volume.
The finder also crashes semi-frequently and the problem seems to dispaear for a while and revealing the contents of these volumes for a few mins.
I have also checked activity monitor to see if any particular process was going haywire and all seemed relativly normal.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Onyx may be causing problems. Don't use it on a non-backed up system, as cleaning caches may damage them, and make things not work. Make sure your Spotlight indexes all drives you wish to be searchable. Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Spotlight and add each hard drive to the Privacy section, and then remove it again. Then click on the Spotlight menu every half hour to see when it stops saying that it is indexing. It might take a few hours. But once done, it should be fixed.

How do I get albums to display as list view?

For the last several "Upgrades" I cannot get iTunes to display my albums in a "list View" only as pictures of the cover art. I have gone into "Edit>Preferences>General" and checked "Show list views all media" with no result. It seems they left me in the dust by making it "Better!" Is there any way to make it display my albums as a list?

Go to "songs" view and i think you will find what you are looking for. This view looks a lot like the view i used in the previous version .
If you select view -> view options (command-j) you will see all the familiar choices. BTW - some options may be hidden (collapsed) so you may have to expand them by clicking on the arrow next to the category heading. Hope this helps.

Calculated fields in Sharepoint list view

Hi,
I have to add a calculated field with formula as
if the difference between 2 date fields is 0 then i have to add todays date-modifed date.
how to achieve this in sharepoint list view/column ?

Hi Aruna,
SharePoint doesn't allow you to use the[Today] function
in a calculated column, but there are other work around for this.Please find below link for this.

Make fields 'Display only'

I have default u2018dep key u2018 & u2018useful life u2018 in the system. Now I need to make these 2 fields 'display only' in master data. How can I do it?

In AO21 you may not have 'Display' option, but you remove the check under 'Mn No' for these two fields. then they would be only in display at master level. Since we tell the system that maintenance would only be at asset class level

I cannot get iCalendar to display in List view on my computer since I downloaded Yosemite. It works on my iPhone and iPad but not on my computer. Any suggestions?

Since downloading Yosemite, I can no longer view my calendar days in iCal in "List View". I still have this view option available on my iOS devices. Is there a setting on my computer to get "List View" back for iCal? Or, is this feature no longer available on the computer?

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    3.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    4.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    5.    Restart your router.
    6.    Restart your mobile device.

ME22N - Make fields display only.

Hi gurus,
I have the following requirement I don`t know how to solve so well...
We´ve created a new purchase order type and we need a little special behaviour for it.
At creation (ME21N) all fields must be ready for input, in the same way that the other PO types.
However, in modification (ME22N) we need some fields unavaible for input, just display.
This fields are: Payment Terms (At header level) and Delivery Date (At Position level).
I've trying some user-exits, but I havent found the way to implement this behaviour.
Because of that, I`ve trying to let the fields available for input in ME22N and check values at save, showing a message in case of changes. Could anybody recommend me which user-exit use for this verifications?

Alternative for GroupStyle.ContainerStyle to make group headers in list view stretch?

Hi all,
as the GroupStyle.ContainerStyle is not supported anymore (see attached MSDN page) is there any way to make the group headers in a listview stretch across the whole listview width?

Workflow not working if the trigger field isn't in the list view!

I have a list that displays important dates, and I have set up a reminder date column which calculated the reminder date by adding 7 days on to the set date. I then have a workflow that emails out reminder of this task if the reminder date matches today.
I have noticed that if I include the reminder date column in my list view, the workflow works fine. But as soon as I remove the reminder date field from the list view my workflow no longer works. It's obviously quite confusing to other having this reminder
date column there when it is only needed to trigger a workflow, so how do I trigger the workflow without having it on view?

Hi Sarah,
As I understand, you have a Date column for user to set date, then you want a reminder date to add 7days to Date column. Then you would like to trigger a workflow if reminder date matches today.
If you do not want reminder date in the list, you could use the workflow 2013 action Core Actions > Add time to Date, to set a workflow variable to replace reminder date, and compare with today. Then you could omit reminder date column.
If you do want reminder date in the list, please try hide reminder date column in the list and test the issue again.

List view displayed in 2 columns

I want to display a list view that is grouped by a field in 2 columns. Not sure how to accomplish this

I can programmatically create the view. I am not sure how to get it into 2 columns. here is my code.

Display more columns in list view?

Is there any way to display more than the standard columns (filename, dates, size, &c.) in list view in the Finder? If it's possible to search for other attributes (author, EXIF info, &c.) using the find function, why can't this information also be displayed as list view columns?

Additonally, one could send bug reports and enhancement requests to Apple via its Bug Reporter system. Register as an Apple Developer—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. If you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report/enhancement request. You'll get a get a Bug/ER ID number; thus, starting a dialog directly with engineering.

TS1389 Why not make apple-id available in the iTunes app list view ?

Can't apple add the apple-id field to the list view for apps ? This would really help in case different ID's are used to install apps. I know the ID can be seen with the Get-Info option, but doing that for 200+ apps to find one that won't sync is a pain !!

That is a good question. It is not possible with the current iTunes, but you could suggest it to Apple at the iTunes Feedback page.
When you submit, set "Feedback type" to "Enahncement Request," and explain what you would like to see. I think it may be relevant to all content types, not just apps.
