To make the log editable in Customer impacts screen on CRM Web UI

Hi,
I have to make the log in the notes section of customer complaints on the Web UI input enabled i.e. in component GSTEXT/LIST.
In the text procedure configuration, the log is set up as R whiich is "Display log". Blank is for edit. But when I set it up as blank, the log is no longer displayed on the UI. Could you please help me with this?

Hi Matangi,
We can change the properties of via the configuration tab of the view GSTEXT/Notes .
Go to the configuration button.
Copy the standard configuration to you Role Config Key.
Select the attribute LINES and press ALT + Space
Here you will have properties where you can change the display mode to edit mode.

    I have a requirment where i have added a subscreen to the standard screen of ME31K for creating the contract. In my Subcreen i have my custom screen fields that i'm updating in EKKO table through include structure.
    Now if user forget to fill the details in my custom fields in the subscreen then i'm giving the error message prompting the user to fill the value in fields.
    But the problem is the screen is locked there itself i want to make the field editable so that user can enter some value in the fields. I can not use the stuatus or information message here because doing this i will get the item overview screen which should not come as i want to restrict the user to header details only and fill all the custom fields.
    Please provide me with your helpful responses.

    Sorry for the delay.
    The code which I gave for popup, i hope its being shown in an IF . . . ENDIF.
    So in that condition u can add the following :
    IF < ur condition >
       < Call message FMs >
        SET SCREEN SY-DYNNR.   "this would set screen to current screen which is 0201
        EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    Other than this if you like you can set some parameters in the PAI of this screen which redirect to current screen based on some conditions.
    So u can manually set OK-CODE and CALFCODE as SPACE, but i dont know how much this can impact the process.
    So please follow the above code.

    Unfortunately, for your endeavor, PDF is not a file format that supports edit-layout-format activities such as are in word processors.
    Not an "issue" - rather, it reflects what PDF was/is designed to be.
    While minor editing ("touchups") are possible extensive editing of PDF content is not.
    What you appear to have encounterd with the process used to convert something to PDF is something that happens rather too often.
    That is, many non-Adobe PDF creation processes to not provide "proper" PDF.
    Which is to say PDF built to the Adobe PDF References or, now, the ISO Standard for PDF (32000-1:2008).
    As you have Acrobat Pro perhaps using it to convert the document's authoring file to PDF via print to Distiller or via Adobe PDFMaker is something to consider. These convert to PDF per the PDF References/ISO Standard.

  • How to make the logs captured for Z fields in ME21N/ ME22N

    I have  devloped new tab(Screen) and added Z field in the PO header (ME21N) as per my requirement. But whenever I do changes to the perticular Z field, logs are not captured (ME21N->ENVIRONMENT-->HEADERLOG). How to make the logs captured for Z fields like standard fields. Is there any way?

  • Is it possible to make the log pop up of errors/warnings appear for longer?

    Dear all
    The answer to this question may have already been posted but I could not locate it when searching.
    I am running SQL Developer 1.5.1 and I have set up the display so that the log is minimised. When I debug or compile any packages the log of error messages/warnings pops up. However this does not stay on screen long enough for me to be able to read it and only 1 in 4 times do I get to the log window quick enough, in order to click on it to keep it open. Is there away of making the log pop up until I minimise it or at least stay on screen for longer, so that I can reach it in time? I estimate it is currently staying on screen for less than 1 second.
    I don't want the log to be displayed all the time because it takes up valuable space, which I find useful when writing my code. It gets in the way even more when I am using the SQL statement window/script output window.

    After all these months of using SQL developer. it never registered with me that hovering over the tab brings it up. I must have brought it up before now but I don't remember doing so if I did.

  • How can I make the best of my ipod touch screen with no internet connection??

    I've been offered an ipod touch screen last Christmas and it's only a week ago that I took it out of its box. I still can't figure out how to transfer my music library from my laptop to the ipod. But I've installed some apps thinking I would be able to listen to my favourite radio station and play some games wherever I go and to my disappointment nothing's working if not connected to an internet connection. I thought an ipod was an improved walkman and actually it is nothing but a device that should be connected to the internet to work.
    Considering that I don't have a free internet connection to the internet on my mobile phone, I was just wondering wht's the purpose to have an ipod? I really consider to go back to my old walkman... Thank you for your comments to help me to make the best of my Christmas present.

    The message you are getting is saying that the iPod was previous synced to another computer. You can only sync with one computer. If you sync to another computer then the iPod media from the iPod get erased (as the message says) and is replaced with what is in the iTunes library of the second computer.
    Syncing means copying (syncing) media from your iTunes library to your computer)
    iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod       
    For not showing in iTunes:
    - Try entering the screen lock passcode on your iPod if not done already
    - Go to Windows Device Manager and see if there is any problems/unknown devices
    - Can you not import photos from a digital camera? The iPod appears in My Computer like a camera does.

  • How do I make the system clock visible on all screens - including when I am in full screen mode

    New to the Mac OS . . . I want a clock that persists.  Yes I can mouse near the top and see the clock but I have to move the cursor each time I want to see the clock.
    I tried a few floating clocks - but none of the ones I tried are visible in full screen mode.
    Is there a setting in Mavericks that will make the clock visible all the time?

    Your best bet might be to set up the clock in Dashboard so you just have to press F12 to see it and dismiss it, even in full screen apps, without having to move your cursor.

    I am implementing the SQL based provider for weblogic.
    I want the weblogic look for email id of the user in the same custom table for sending notifications. Is it possible ?
    By defualt I think weblogic maintains some attributes for user, email id is of those. I want weblogic to look into custom table instead for email id.

    Hi,
    Oops, I might have take my words back, since you will use it for finding for superiors.
    In general you can find superiors with SWX_GET_MANAGER or search *GET_MANAGER in SE37. You will probably find nice examples here in SCN if you just find the correct function module and search with that.
    Check also workflow rule 00000168 (in transaction PFAC). That is the standard rule for finding superior.
    Anyhow what comes to me taking my words back: If you use the above-mentioned functions or rules, it will actually find the managers from existing org. structure AND perhaps your new structure. You might want to test it. This is something I didn't think when I first gave my answer (in the cases when I've seen another org.structure, superiors were not used). Also, if you create new org. structure with superiors, I am not sure but it might have some effect to  the existing HR structure ("who is the right superior for an employee?").
    I might need to think again.

  • Juno and Yahoo Webmail: Firefox makes the attach file button in webmail disappear and other web browsers don't

    Using Juno and Yahoo webmail (only on this computer, not my others) the attach file button loads but then disappears when creating a new email or replying. All other web browsers allow me to attach files using these two webmail sites. This does not affect other sites like school applications to upload files for class in Firefox.

    As mentioned in the original post, the user IS the owner and the permissions are WIDE open for the user. I have also tried to disable the anti-virus - no luck. The problem is ONLY happening in Firefox. Chrome and IE work perfect. There is also no problem in Windows. The user can add/remove/edit files in the directory. Right now the solution seems to be to use Chrome. I'm not excited about that, but at this point, the only option.

  • Is it possible to make the ipad remain on an app screen rather than reverting to the home screen?

    We have a credit card app on our Ipad2 that we want to remain available for use 24/7; the ipad is encased in a security holder and the 'home' button is not accessible. Therefore, we want the card app to remain as the only thing visible. Unfortunately, the ipad keeps timing out to the home screen which makes all other apps available to everyone. Short of removing all other icons, is there a way to make it stay within the credit card app?

    Apps don't time out.   There is no specific time interval for app usage.  If its going back to the home screen either the home button is being pressed (which you said is not possible) or the App is crashing.
    In which case its something for the developer to look into.
    You can find crash reports under Settings->General->About->Diagnostics and Usage->Diagnostic and Usage Data.
    Other than that, I'm not certain Guided Access will relaunch the App in the event that it crashes, but you may want to look into it.

    I have created about 100 transaction launchers for ISU transactions, which are linked to the navigation bar in the Web IC. If I Click on this link which should open an ISU trnsaction, it doesnt open the ISU transaction. Rather it gives me a pop up as LOG OFF. The problem is most of the transactions are opening up this way, but there are only a few that doesnt open up and gives a log off error.
    The client mapping of CRM system and Utility system has been done.

    Having trouble displaying the Logged in Customer details.  The customer is able to register himself to my site but when he enters his username and password I don't know how to display the welcome username message and switch the login link to logout. Even afte the customer is logged in it still shows login. Please look at the image for more details.

  • Is there a way to make the current row not editable

    Hi, I'm using JDev 11.1.1.2
    In my usecase I have a Form , navigateable with next/previous , and for every row a I have a calculation which makes the row editable or not.
    For now I made it with disabled property on every input component set to some bean property which is calculated every time.
    My question is if there is some general way to make an Entity not updateable ?
    I tried with doDML() ... but the problem there is that this method is not called when switching the current row but rather when commiting. So the user can modified several rows and when pressing commit it will prevent some of the to be committed which would be confusing.
    Is there a method in the ViewObject that i can overwrite which is called every time the current row is changed? So I can see if the row was modified or not.

    Yes, there is always isAttributeUpdateable() in the ViewRowImpl, which you can override and enable/disable your attributes based on an enabling/disabling condition.
    Here is an example:

  • How to make a pdf editable and save for print

    Hi,
    I just joined Adobe Cloud and it's been a while since I have used acrobat. I have made a brochure that I need a couple of things to be editable on. See below. I need the two areas highlighted in red to be editable for different locales/people. My questions are:
    A) I assume Acrobat is the way to do this. I also have FormsCentral if that works better. Can someone tell me how to make these two fields editable?
    B) What program do they edit with?  Acrobat Reader?
    C) How do they save and output it for print?

    This is not about what Acrobat can or can't do - and you just said they won't have it anyway. It's about the limitations of PDF. A proper solution is to develop (at some expense) a server side PDF generator that takes the user's input and makes them a custom PDF. I don't know if you can just subscribe to a service to do this. If you aren't going to have them use Acrobat, form fields are your only option. Be sure they (and you) understand the limitations and that they must use Reader (not one of the many other PDF viewers). Be sure you understand about reader enabling: many versions of Reader CANNOT SAVE filled in files unless they are specially prepared.
    So back to your original question: how do you make the fields editable: with the Forms function in Acrobat. You may have better luck in the Acrobat Forms forum.

    I am a college student and while browsing my university software store I noticed they had Adobe Creative Suite 4: Web Premium Student Edition. I was wondering what makes the student edition different from the premium set?  Is the education set the premium set just with some learning stuff?

Since my student days were over many moons ago, I have no way of testing whether Dreamweaver can be used on separate partitions. No Adobe software is guaranteed to run on it (it probably does, but there's no guarantee).
