To MSI: You might want to fix this (CPU Micro Code)!

Greetings, MSI team, I'm going to provide you with a little feedback which I hope is going to help you. I've recently bought the MSI G41M-P33 Combo motherboard. The problem is that as you've said in the description of your BIOS v32.2, there was updated CPU Micro Code. And yes, that's good, because without this update, the Pentium 4 520 which I installed wouldn't have worked, but from version 32.8 to 32.11 (your latest one), there's a huge problem which I think comes from the micro code. The Pentium 4 520 works absolutely fine with all BIOS version from 32.2 till 32.8, but if I flash a newer BIOS version than 32.8, the CPU freezes constantly and no normal work can be done on the machine, unless you disable Hyper Threading, then it works like it should, but HT makes the P4 520 a lot faster and having to disable it is a problem. So, I don't know what you've changed in the versions after 32.8, but the freezing with Hyper Threading enabled is not good and I think that this has something to do with the Micro Code. I hope that in the next BIOS version you fix that problem and that the CPU runs normally, like it did from version 32.2 to 32.8! Have a good day!

Be aware that your board is out of production for a long time as well as your ancient cpu. There is a 95% chance no one will fix anything for that.

Go to settings/music/volume limit tap on that. Make sure it is set to OFF and when you tap it that the slider is at max

You do have it turned on ins settings>Privacy, right?
For location the iPod uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. You do not have to be connected to the network/router to use that router's location. Thus, it appears that the iPod can't see a nearby router that is in Apple's database. Apple continuously updated their database based on info they obtain from iPhones. No one has been able to find a way to inform Apple of a router or correct is location.
You can confirm that by going to place with a know located router like Starbucks or McDonalds

If you've noticed issues after updating to iOS 7.0.2, you may want to first update to iOS 7.0.3 which was recently released.

Did you try quitting the Music app and then restart the iPad?
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I just upgraded to Lion. When I import photos it imports the same photo over and over. Not even one of the photos selected!! Do you know how to fix this?

I just upgraded to Lion. I just installed iLife'11 last night. When I import photos into iMovie (version 9.0.4.) , it imports the same photo over and over as if it were the ones I selected. Not even one of the photos selected!! The thumbnais show that unselected photo, if I preview then I just see the preview screen all black.
I even tried making an iPhoto album and importing straight from there. Exact same thing. I have restarted the application, restarted the computer, and googled half-to-death. No answers.
Do any of you know how to fix this?

What were you doing when you received the message?
I have seen reports on these forums where there is a limit to how many contacts you can have in the "to" field of a text message. That is the only thing I can think of where someone has reported getting a warning about too many contacts.

Try closing the Music app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

After buying Adobe Premiere from the cloud, installation by (Adobe service), my InDesign CS6 quits on startup. Need help, Adobe doesn't want to fix this.

If you buy a cloud application while you have a totally legal Creative Suite Premium 6 it might stop working. Adobe made the installation by taking control of my computer. The girl did not seemed totally well trained... my opinion and right after that my InDesign stopped working!!! Now my If I call to get help they send you here because they don't want to spend money fixing that problem. So, I wonder if it's a good idea to buy a new application from the cloud if you already are a good customer. It's probably safer to buy other CS6 or CS5 versions if you already have some. Otherwise you might be stuck to buy the entire package through the cloud even if you don't need the last versions. To solved my problem, I erased the applications with all the preferences on the second time around, reinstalled everything and InDesign still quits on startup. I have the same setup at home but this one does work.

Hi all, since I upgraded to Mountain Lion Messages asks me kindly and every time if I really want to send a file to my colleague in the chat. Yes I want that -and- without this returning question. But how to silence it? I could not find it in the Message prefs and the message itself does not contain a "do not show again" radio button. Anybody a suggestion how to fix this? Based my research, due to increasing in security, we cannot disable Download Manager of Internet Explorer 9 from changing settings, editing registry keys or editing settings in Group Policy. This can prevent websites downloading automatically. Instead, we can
set default download location.

You could try downloading and installing 7-Zip (free) and downloading a fresh copy of the iTunes installer, unpack the installer into its components using 7-Zip then try installing AppleApplicationSupport again. It may still fail to install but you may get more useful error messages as to why not.

Thanks for the upgrade to Firefox 4! Unfortunately, you don't say anywhere that it's not compatible with OSX 10.4. Might want to fix that so that other users don't run into this issue.

After the latest upgrade to 3.whatever, Firefox asked if I'd like to upgrade to 4.0. I said yes, assuming (since Firefox has always been compatible before) that it'd install and work. It didn't. Why? Because Firefox is no longer supporting OSX 10.4, apparently. This should probably be noted SOMEWHERE so that trusting people like me don't screw up our existing Firefox.

I looked for a link to the system requirements page before I downloaded to my PowerPC Mac, but I couldn't see it anywhere.
However, I saw that Mozilla was bragging about supporting Windows XP whereas the new IE 9 did not. One would assume that if Mozilla was bragging about supporting that old Windows platform, they would also support a Mac platform of the same vintage.
I did not assume wisely. I am very disappointed in the Mozilla team.
For the record, I am running the latest version update of Leopard (10.5.?) on my PowerBook G4.

I knew this was an Apple problem. Then when will it be fixed ? I am constantly repeating the same process you describe each time I have to sync. Problem is that my sync is taking a full night since my library is already quite big. Has anyone found a solution yet ? Actually I am visiting other pages and have tried almost everything. Nothing worked for me so far.
