  • Can't install Adobe Elements trial

    Hello, everyone.
If I'm trying to download Adobe Elements trial, I've got only empty welcome screen (it's Russian). Network access is granted to application. I made some reboots or reinstalls of the software, these were not helped. What I should to try more?

From your screenshot it looks like you still need to select what you wish to download.  You are signed in but nothing appears to be downloading at the moment.  You can select the trial you wish to download in the bottom left hand corner.

  • How to correct Directx error when opening Adobe Elements 13

I get the error message Directx/DirectPlay cannot initialize whenI try to open the Elements 13 program on my Windows 8.1 PC.

    Hi,
When you insert the DVD does it autostart?
Do you get the bootstrap error straight away?
An alternative would be to download the installation files from the following and use the serial number you got with your DVD.

  • Can't open Adobe Elements 10. Dialogue box states: Runtime Error.

Dialogue box further states: This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
I have attached a screen shot.

    Hi,
Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
    Solution 1:
    1. Close Elements.
    2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
    3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
    Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go  to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements  10\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain  plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere  else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

  • Adobe Elements trial version

I have been trying to download the trial version since yesterday. It will get to the part where it says Extracting files....this may take a while, and the little blue downloading bar is still moving but it wont go any further. So I even left it over night and it was still doing the same thing after 12 hours. I have tried re starting my computer, restarting the downloading process several times and I have also made sure it is being saved to my user file.

The download has likely become corrupted.  Please cancel the download and try again.  You can also initiate a direct download by following the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

  • Adobe premiere elements trial version

in my adobe premiere elements the text 'premiere elements trial version' stays in the videodisplay, how can I remove this?

    marrithoekstra
Just in case notes that may sometimes get overlooked.....
    1. After purchase of the Premiere Elements, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (project.prel) that you created during the tryout. But, you cannot remove the Adobe watermark that exists in one of the exports from the tryout project.prel file (even after you get a purchased serial number and are working from the purchased program).
    a. The classical answer to getting rid of the Adobe watermark from your tryout project.prel files after you purchase the product is to delete the rendered files of the trial project.prel which is opened in the purchased program.
    b. However, I and others have found the often just opening the trial project.prel into the purchased program removes the Adobe watermark automatically with no need to delete any rendered files.
See what works for you. Please let us know the outcome.
    Thank you.

  • Elements trial will not open

I downloaded the Photoshop Elements trial version to test before I purchased. It appears on my computer, but it will not open. Help please! I am afraid to go buy the real version if I cannot get the test to work!

I downloaded it from the adobe website. Absolutely nothing happens when I try and open it- no error message or anything. I have "Windows 7 Professional" on my computer... what specs do you need? (I am not good at this stuff sorry!)

  • Adobe elements 10 trial offer downloads then disapears

download free trial finally finshed  then diapeared thenshowed other products I could download  just want to try adobe elements 10 2nd time trying to download

    Hi Karnslarry,
To find the files at your downloaded location, read the procedure in the doc: Find Downloaded Files (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/506/cpsid_50655.html). If you see any files ending in ".part" then the download did not finish. ".Part" files are temporary files replaced by .7z, .exe, or .dmg when the download is complete.
On Mac OS, there is one .dmg file. On Windows, there is an .exe file and possibly a .7z file.
Some Windows product downloads include two files: an .exe file and a .7z file. To install the software, it's necessary that both files are downloaded and located in the same folder. Otherwise, an error can appear when you start the installer. Errors include "Windows cannot open this file" and "The file archive part of Adobe [product name] is missing
Double-click the .exe file (Windows) or the .dmg file (Mac OS) that was downloaded. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the product.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Preran

Can you tell us all about your computer, and especially your computer's graphics card/chip? What is its make/model? What is the version and date of the installed video driver? When PSE runs, but PrE does not, it is usually an issue with the video driver being obsolete. Good luck, Hunt

  • Can't open Adobe Premiere Elements 9

I've had some problems with Adobe Premiere Elements 9 recently, and right now I'm not able to use it. I'm not sure what the problem is really or how to fix it so I'll just write down what has happened here and hopefully someone knows what to do.
A week or so ago my laptop started to crash repeatedly, but fortunately that was solved. But then I noticed that when I opened Adobe Premiere Elements, that's when it crashed and only then. It stopped crashing altogether except for when I opened this program (if it is of any importance I also tried opening Windows Movie Maker to edit there in the meantime but the same thing happened there, which seems strange and kinda random to me). I decided to get an antivirus software and install that and see if that took care of it, which I have now done. That didn't exactly take care of it though. The laptop did stop crashing when opening the Adobe software, but nothing happens once it's opened. The tabs on the top right are there but the whole program is just grey (where you would normally have the timeline on the bottom, video to the left, and the files etc. to the right) and nothing else comes up. I then tried to uninstall Adobe Premiere Elements 9 from my laptop altogether and then re-install it with the CD I still had from purchasing the laptop a couple of years ago. But after re-installing there is no change. Just a grey screen once again, except for the tabs and all that on the top. Now I'm not sure what else to try. It's frustrating as I need this program to work right about now. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks.

From the Premiere Elements Information FAQ http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1042180
•What version of Premiere Elements? Include the minor version number (e.g., Premiere Elements 12 with the 12.0.1 update).
•What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac"
•Has this ever worked before?  If so, do you recall any changes you made to Premiere Elements, such as adding Plug-ins, brushes, etc.?  Did you make any changes to your system, such as updating hardware, printers or drivers; or installing/uninstalling any programs?
•Are you using an account with Administrator Privileges?
Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 (Encore + "All" Premiere)
•Have you installed any recent program or OS updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)
•What kind(s) of image file(s)? When talking about camera raw files, include the model of camera.
•If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?
•What were you doing when the problem occurred?
•What other software are you running?
•Tell us about your computer hardware. How much RAM is installed?  How much free space is on your system (C:) drive?
    And some other questions...
•What are you editing, and does your video have a red line over it BEFORE you do any work?
•Which version of Quicktime do you have installed?
What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself
    ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
    nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Some of the below is for Premiere Pro, but the idea is the same for Premiere Elements
Dual video problems - Do you have dual graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed
    IF YES, read below

  • I have been getting a "Runtime Error" and can't open Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor

We are using Adobe Photoshop Elements version 9.0.3 (20110328.m.11320).  For several weeks it has not been possible to open the Editor, although the Organizer opens as usual.  We get an error message that says "Runtime Error! Program: ...\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.  Please contact the application's support team for more information."  What can we do to correct this problem?

Thanks, Ken!  I have to reply by e-mail, as the Forum site has been down
    for maintenance since last night.
    I am running Windows 7 Professional SP1.
Uninstalling and booting should be straightforward.  I saved the
following files in my Downloads folder from my initial installation of
    Adobe PSE 9.0 on 4/22/11:
    Adobe_Photoshop_Elements_9-AkamaiDLM.exe (355 kb application)
    PhotoshopElements_9_LS15.exe (1,200 kb application)
    PhotoshopElements_9_LS15.7z (1,838,546 kb WinRAR archive)
Will these suffice for reinstalling the program?  Can you tell me how I
should go about the reinstallation?  (I tried to find a page to download
the Adobe PSE 9.0 program on the Adobe website, but could only locate a
patch for 9.0.3, which I think must already have been included in the
    original installation.)
Also, there are four folders, corresponding to four catalogs, in
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs.  Will those survive
the uninstall/reinstall process?  Should I back them up just prior to
uninstalling to preserve them for restoration after the reinstall?
Finally, should I back up the 9.0 and Organizer folders in
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer for restoration as well?  And
    the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements folder?
Thank you.  I am grateful for your help!
    Peter
