To send notepad as an attachment to email

Hi ,
I am facing one problem. I am sending a notepad as an attachment to a mail.
The reciepents name is in the distribution list. When I checked the notepad, Headers and the record are coming in the same line .
But it should come in the different line.

While sending notepad attachmen tyou need to take care of certain things
1.Pass the dat in RAW format
2. use line separater in the back as below
    CONCATENATE it_attach con_cret into it_attach.
2.use SO_SOLITAB_TO_SOLIXTAB to convert your itab into hex.

    I am having a requirement that I need to download the internal table data into .txt file and I need to zip the text file. And this zip files needs to send to the customer through email.
    I am able download the data into .txt and able to zip the file. But I am not able send the .zip file through email.
    I know that we can send .xls, .txt, .csv and also .ppt, .doc file types we can send as an attachement through abap program. But I don't know about .zip files. Is there any possibilty to send .zip file as an attachment thorugh email.
    Can any one help me how to send a .zip file thorugh email as an attachment.

    I have to develop a <b>PDF form</b> and one more requirement; I have to change the mail Content (body) and the Subject line which should have attached PDF file.The (Transaction Code VA21) Has the sending the Email part. My  Requirement is to <b>Change the Content (body) and the Subject</b>. 
    Requirement;
    When customer request for the quote, quote document is created in SAP (Transaction Code VA21). Promised Price, quantity, date is communicated to customer via quote output. Customer may decide to place firm order with reference to quote.
    So this form (PDF file and send via email) is used to communicate the AMAT quote to customer. The PDF file will be as a attachment in the mail. With change subject line, and content of the mail (Thanks for the Quote, Please don’t reply to this mail). It also consists of applicable terms & condition of the quote.
    Is it possible to handle the Content and the Subject of the mail in Program or Form layout (SFP). or it's Enhancement?

  • Sending pdf as an attachment in email with all changes done on the pdf

    Hello Everyone,
    I have developed a webdynpro java application which sends a interactive form as an attachment in an email. Everything works fine except that there are some editable fields on the form and the changes dont go in the attachment. The Send Email button is on the webdynpro View. I tried many different things but nothing worked. Somehow the changes done on the form dont get saved in the pdfSource when a button on the webdynpro view is clicked. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hello,
    I'm a rookie in Apex. I read a lot of thread based on how to send a email from an Application.
    it seems easy to create the body of the email with a SELECT query. I'm using APEX_MAIL.SEND().
    I would like to now if it's possible to send a report from the page as an attachment to an Email?
    Maybe with something like create a csv file from the SELECT of the form and then attach it to the Email??

    Yes, I would like first to created a simple file as 'column a';'column b';'column c'.
    I had a look on the link you put. Very interesting and hepfull. But I still have one problem and I tryed to find informations about on the web without good results.
    Now, I'm able to create a file into a BLOB using the function get_report() showned in your link.
    To attach the file to an Email. I will use APEX_MAIL.ADD_ATTACHMENT().
    Here is the code example:

  • Send smartform as pdf attachment through Email on ECC 5.0

    I have been trying hard to do this, but am not able to send attachment. Below are the problems -
    1. If sometimes the mail goes, the attachment is empty.
    2. if i use COMMIT_WORK = 'X' in FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 , it throws a dump - ' Invalid COMMIT WORK in an update function module.'
    3. If i comment COMMIT_WORK = 'X', it gets executed successfully but, in the program i get a dump 'UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CHAR' exception.
    Can someone suggest, what settings are required in SAP to send smartforms as PDF attachments. Also, please suggest how can i remove the dump. If anyone can give me a working program, it will be very very helpful.

  • Sending po as pdf attachement in email at save

    Hi All,
            If I create a purchase order and save it, then an e-mail should be triggered to my external e-mail address immediately. That e-mail should have the purchase order as pdf attachment. I really don't have any idea about configuring this so I read other posts and got the idea. I configured it the same way, still not able to trigger an e-mail. sap Connect is perfectly working for my e-mail address if it is triggered manually or by any other program. Can I do this in some kind of user_exit or this can be handled through configuration only.

    Hi,
    You have to do it through configuration. Take the help of functional consultant. Go to TCODE NACE and select "EF     Purchase Order". Click on Output types. You have to create a new output type for mail.
    Transmission medium must be 5- External send and Form type should be PDF

  • Send  XML as attachment in Email activity

    My requirement is to send XML as an attachment through email .
    In the attachment if i select the MIME type as "XML" then no email notification is sent,
    but if i select the MIME type as "text/html" , then attachement is sent through email , but attachment is in different format( with no content inside attachment) .
    Can anyone help me on this .

    I'm using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 FM to send excel attachments as emails to external addresses.
    However, this the SAP upgrade to ECC6.0 from R/3 4.6B
    then I cannot open BIG5 char excel, who does know how to sending Unicode excel as attachment in email.
    the Excel can show Chinese , BIG5 code ,Japanese ,Korea .
    OR which new funciton module in ECC6.0 like SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 FM .

  • To send email from Abap code in which we have notepad as an attachment.

    I am facing one problem. I am sending a notepad as an attachment to a mail.
    The reciepents name is in the distribution list. When I checked the notepad, Headers and the record are coming in the same line .
    But it should come in the different line.

  • Sending a binary attachment via email, looking for a more clean way

    Hi experts.
    I finally managed to send a binary attachment via email. Why "finally"? Never done before!
    Also I got to manage the "not standard" .SAP file extension, because the attachment is a transaction link.
    So let me explain how i did it:
    take SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1, filling following input data:

    But how to fill lt_hex? Well I did not found a way to transfer text data into raw data structure (lt_hex is type SOLIX).
    So, here is the trick:
    fill another table, lt_bin type SOLISTI1, with attachment content (text data);
    dump lt_bin content to a file on application server, having care to specify TEXT MODE and UTF-8 encoding;
    now reopen the same file in BINARY MODE and transfer content to lt_hex.
    Why I did not use parameter
    content_bin
    ? Because SAP ECC 6 is unicode enabled (I think UTF-16) and file has got to be UTF-8 or ASCII. Also, packing_list for attachment must specify binary tranfer mode. And doing so each UTF-16 character (2 bytes) is split into 2 characters (1 char + 1 NUL byte). Attachment is now unusable.
    What is the question? Here it is: how to fill lt_hex data directly from text (UTF-16) data, avoiding conversion errors?

    the problem is not the exported xls. If you have a look inside with Notepad or something like that, you will see that your leading zeros are exported correct.Excel-settings occurs this problem, it is all about how to open the document. If you use the import-assistant you will have no problems because there are options available how to handle the different columns.
    Another solution might be to get familiar with ABAP2XLS-Project. I got in my mind, that there is a method implemented, that will help you solving this problem. But that is not a five minute job
