To solve i have to reinstall snowleopard, to reinstall SN i have to solve, help!!!

i just bought an early 2008 macbook knowing that the CD/DVD drive didn´t worked, wich i didn´t mind then....but
leopard was installed in the computer, and i need to install snow leopard,... soo far so god...
to install SN i have to partition the disk (remember CD/DVD drive doesn´t work), but DISK UTILITY fails and deliver the following:
Filesystem verify or repair failed
have already tried to repair disk but fails.
in addition to this the right and left arrows of the keyboard broke down, stopped function (i´ve investigated the web, many people had it, and solved it with reinstall osx)
so, to install snowlepard without CD i have to partition but as filesystem fails cant manage to partition.
please help!!!
i am used to working on MAC but not really t have problems, s i guess i am not really MAC experienced, so if there is one, be gentle/explainfull to that matter.

You are welcome. There has never been a need to move that one before, but try it since you can always put it back.
If the same, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

Also before installing Please go to Applications-->Utilities--> Adobe installers and if there is any uninstaller for CS5.5 , you can remove it and do a fresh install.

Managed to get my ipod restored to factory settings (yay!) However then it was being recognised in windows but not in itunes.......to solve this I referred back to Apples excellent troubleshooting guide. Installed the lastest version of itunes.....and there we go! We have a working ipod! I am so delighted and no longer on the verge of tears! (I so thought I had completely banjaxed my brand new ipod!)

Right-click on your Windows Taskbar and select Start Task Manager. Look in Task Manager for processes running that are Firefox-related, such as Firefox.exe or plugin-container.exe. If you see either of those, right-click each of them and select "End process". Then try again to start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. 
*If Firefox will start in Safe Mode, select the option you are presented with to disable your add-ons and plug-ins and restart Firefox normally. You likely have a plug-in, add-on, or a combination of two or more that is causing the problem. Because Firefox allows users to customize endlessly, sometimes there can be conflicts between customized items. From the Firefox menu bar, go to Tools -> Add-ons then re-enable them one by one, restarting Firefox after each and testing after each one to see which one or combination of two or more is causing the problem. 
*If Firefox will not start in Safe Mode, make sure you again check Task Manager and end any running instances, then uninstall Firefox and download a fresh copy from mozilla.org/firefox using another browser temporarily. I had same problem where Firefox 3.6.8 would not start or open. Spent many hours trying different things to fix it. Uninstall of previous version and reinstall did not make any difference. Finally, after uninstalling Firefox, I searched for Firefox folders and files on my computer, deleted and removed all Firefox folders and files - deleted anything and everything related to Firefox so that it will be as if I was going to download Firefox for the first time ever. Then, using another browser, I downloaded Firefox 3.6.8 and installed it. It could be that some Add-Ons or something else from the older version of Firefox or profile was interfering with the new one. It was easier to delete remove everything and install all over again clean than to figure out which part was causing the problem.
Keep in mind, when you delete all Firefox folders and files from your computer, you are deleting all your bookmarks and all your Add-ons. If you want to keep those bookmarks, you might want to save the URLs someplace safe to bookmark them again before deleting them. You need to re-install the Add-ons also. Upon installation, it asks if you want to import bookmarks and settings from another browser or settings you might have. I imported them from my other browser. Now, Firefox works. I also installed up-to-date Add-ons.
I hope this helps. Always keep more than one browser functioning on your computer, just in case one fails.

With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

I have tried updating to mavericks through the mac app store but after it downloading for a day i got an error message saying there was a problem with the download. The same thing happens if i try to update itunes or the mac app store. After research, i have also tried repairing disk permissions, but every time they do get repaired the 'repair' button still appears, i'm not sure if it's because it was unable to repair the initial problems or if it just keeps detecting new ones.

2 GBs is a minimum in which you can do many things, but not concurrently. Be very careful to not install third-party add-ons, limit the number of applications you choose to enter in Login Items, run as few applications concurrently as you demand.
I would consider adding more RAM to your computer. Your model supports 8 GBs, so I would install that.

Does this happen if you try to Import to Library within iPhoto, or is it when you connect your camera (and which is set to automatically use iPhoto) that this error message occurs?
