To Switch to Wi-Fi, disconnect Ethernet, but there is no ethernet?
I have three AppleTv's. I have a wireless and wired network in my house. Two of the AppleTvs sprung to life when hooked to the ethernet network. The last did not. I disconnected the ethernet to connect it to the wireless network and get the message:
"To Switch to Wi-Fi, disconnect Ethernet"
I've tried this AppleTV in place of the others so I could guarantee it wasn't the cables or anything to do with my wired network. Still no dice. It seems the problem is with the AppleTV ethernet port.
I had the same problem, my apple tv keeps saying "To switch to Wi-Fi, disconnect the Ethernet cable from your apple tv", and the cable is not connected.
I asked at the apple store and they told me to take the devide if this is within the first year after the purchase.
I am wondering if there is a way to manually disable the ethernet port, since I prefer the wifi connectivity.

You can't delete an account, you will need to replace the email address on the old account first e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on it on iOS device and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http:// appleid.apple.com

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

I was downloading podcast video in my itouch using wifi, but suddenly my wifi got disconnected and now there is a link in my podcast list which on opening uses wifi to play that video. I want to delete that link. Right to left swapping is not working.

Are you trying to print through the airport express wirelessly or the built in wireless of the lexmark? If you want to use the airport express, there is no need to mess with the wireless printing on the lexmark at all. The airport express will be easy to set up, all the wireless setups through the printers are a pain. -
My iPad2 no longer connects to my home wifi network but there is no problem connecting to other saved wifi networks. Currently using iOS8.0.2. with storage capacity of 12.2Gb but only 147Mb free. Disconnecting the router and rebooting the iPad worked briefly as a temporary fix but not anymore
You could try this
Temporarily disable security on your home network
See if the iPad connects
If it does then reset the security - with the same or different password -

I am completely stuck with the configuration of my virtual networks. I have one logical switch left to add to one of my Hyper-V 2012 R2 hosts when I started getting the error below when I try to add logical switches to either Hyper-V Host. I have been using
the document. 'Hybrid Cloud with NVGRE (Cloud OS)' to implement the virtual networking. Basically using the exact configuration that is in the document. I have added the PA Logical Network and the Network adapters and added the logical switch for it to my
hyper-v 2012 R2 host and everything was fine. I am now trying to add my ISCSI Logical Switch to the host and this is the error I get. My other Hyper-V host I get this error for any logical switch I am trying to add. Can someone help me with this error. I haven't
been able to find any information about it.
Also a some quick info on tracing an error like this so I can figure out what is causing it.

Christopher Scannellnotice your GUID? you may want to consider ensuring that is the same GUID associated in your database. Sometimes during data corruption theres a smidge of a chance your sql database kind of either pulls old guids esp if this was reverted to snapshot
without it being powered off etc.
I would try that first. then i would consider if you get to configure that with your current liscense associated with the host. I would need way more info to help any further -
I am considering switching from MIE to Firefox. But I need to use an outdated version (7.3.1) of QuickTime, and I do not want Firefox to update it. If I installed Firefox, how would I prevent this?
Firefox doesn't update plugins like that. The worst you might see is a "nag" from Firefox after an update, about that plugin being outdated; and you can dismiss that "nag" by just closing it.

how come when I sync my 4th gen. nano it says its syncing and when its done i disconnect it and go into music and it says no songs then i go into settings and it says i have 1.0GB free but theres no videos, no music, nothing on the iPod

I have just reformatted my drive and reinstalled creative cloud and lightroom. When i open it, it says there is another version running the catalog and i have to switch to it to fix the problem, but there is no other version on my computer. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Where did you put the LR catalog?
Did you install the same version of LR, which one?
OS and version?
Open the folder where the catalog (*.lrcat) is located. If you see a file with lock in it while LR is not running, delete it.
Now try to start LR again. -
Hey my ipad 3 was fully charged. But all of a sudden it got switched off and I cannot switch it back. I connected it to a charger but there was no improvements. I also tried pressing the top button for 30 seconds. Nothing seems to switch it on. Could you please tell me what to do?
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

After upgrade to Yosemite my MacBook Air does not switch automaticly from wifi to ethernet. How to sloven problem?
Have you tried changing the order in Network Preferences pane?
Open System Preferences/Networks/Click the gear symbol under the service list. Select set service order then drag. If your wifi is above the ethernet move the ethernet to the top. Click ok. Click apply (bottom left) and test.
