To track the locations before receiving

Dear Purchasing Gurus,
I have an item supplied by a supplier. Before receiving it in my organization, it will come across various locations (for e.g.. If it shipped via. a ship and ship is coming thru various countries like India, China, Japan).
I would like to track these locations. i.e. at any point of time I should know where the item is.
How to track this?

Deat Merilin,
You can use standard PO receipt or unordered receipts functionality in Purchasing.
To do that you have choose "Standard Receipt" in Receiving Options for inventory organizations.
Here is an example of the process:
1. When your item arrives to the first location you have to record a receiving trasnsaction using "PO - Receiving - Receipts" form.
2. When your item was moved from one location to another, you can perform receiving move transaction. Please use the "PO - Receiving - Receiving Transactions" form to do that, chose destination "Receiving" and choose new location in the form. System will create "Receive Move" transaction.
3. When your item is moving between different locations, please do the same as specified in step 2.
4. When your item's arrived to stock, please record this transactions in "PO - Receiving - Receiving Transactions" form using standard delivery transaction.
In this case you have take into account that your items will be in balance of Receiving GL account from first transaction to the last delivery transaction.

If it was stolen the thief will wipe it with the result that you will not be able to track it.
Contact your carrier. They may be able to block further use of the phone. No good to you but then no good to the thief either.

Apple couldn't. If you had an active cellar plan and your iPad was connected to wifi I think it's theoretically possible for Verizon to track it, but I don't think they will get involved without a court order.

The Find My iPhone app has nothing to do with this. The Find My iPhone app on your iPhone is used for someone else to locate their iOS device or Apple computer with your iPhone or for you to locate another iOS device you own with your iPhone.
With the Passcode Lock feature, nothing can be accessed on your iPhone which includes an option to completely erase the iPhone after 10 failed passcode attempts. This also prevents someone from turning Find My iPhone off with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone and the same for turning Location Services off which is required for Find My iPhone.
Since you didn't have the Passcode Lock feature enabled, you have changed your iCloud account password and the same for every other email account you were accessing on the iPhone, and you have reported this to your carrier and to the police?

Trying to download and install Photoshop Elements and Premium on Surface Pro 3 from the link and receiving an error - anyone know of a resolution?

I have a Surface Pro 3 and just purchased the download link for Photoshop Elements (newest one) from Adobe. I've tried downloading several times and in 64 and 32 bit types, but have only made it as far as the install before receiving an error. Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution?

I tried chatting with someone earlier today, but they ended the session (I think accidentally?) before it was resolved. My error is below. Now chat seems to be closed - although I thought it was open 24/7, so I can't try that again. This is the most frustrating support experience I've ever had. I just want to access and start using the products I purchased Friday. I would be so happy if someone would just help fix this. I am not computer inept, but cannot figure out why the download is failing.
The guy on chat that was helping me before getting cut off had me run a SCANNOW system scan, but that's where the session unexpectedly ended.

BB protect works but doesn't show the location

Hello I have installed BB Protect on my 9320. I have also switched on the GPS and the Wifi too. Enabled the Protect too. But when I log on to BB account, it doesn't show me the location of the device. It says unable to track the location. But everything shows fine in the Protect account on my laptop, like I can even see the current correct battery amount. So it means the device does connect with the account but why does it not show the location. What else can I do. I really need it to be working.
Please help. I will be very very very grateful to you. P.S.: I am with Mobilicity in Canada and the phone was purchased from Mobilicity too. Thank you.

There is an option during the setup of BlackBerry Protect that is required to enable this ability. To fix this, go into BlackBerry Protect on the device, press the BB Menu button and select Options, then make sure Location Reporting is turned on.

If you did not setup Find My Phone, I'm afraid yo're out of luck. There is no practical way to track your phone.

If they disabled services, then they disabled Find My iPhone (if they're smart), so you won't be able to track it and/or wipe it. Messages won't work either.

Unable to pick up the file from Receive Location

BizTalk is unable to pick up the files from receive location.
My admin console is working so slow.
It is showing the problem of snap-in as follows:
I have checked all my receive location and its masking,it is working fine.
Actually it is working fine in dev server(snap-in problem is not occuring in dev server ) but when I import MSI and binding in UAT server.
It is not picking up the file from receive location.
I want to know one more thing :if my message box database is not working fine,will it receive the files from receive location.

For files not received by receive location. If the Receive Location is still enabled but files are not processed by Receive Location, then check whether the host instance configured with your receive location is running. If the host instance is in
running state, restart the host instance and try.
Regarding the error in the admin console as shown in the image, people started to see this issue with admin console from BizTalk 2009 onwards. This happens in cases like you have done some activity with console and before its been refreshed it you do more
activities like expanding the node you will see this error. Sometimes WMI is bit slowly to refresh your admin console screen. Just wait for few seconds untill the WMI screen is rendered completely. Ensure you have all the cumulative updates installed for your
version of BizTalk and also ensure the service pack for your OS is updated.
Obviously if message box is not working, files will not be received/processed. But if message box is not in healthy state this would affect all other application not just one and in-fact it would affect entire BizTalk not just Receive Locations.
To start analysing this file not been processed by Receive Location, start with checking the host instance as mentioned.

My iPhone is stolen yesterday around 12 noon,

There is only ONE way to track or locate the iPhone:
You must have gone to Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone and turned that ON before it was stolen.
The iPhone must be powered up.
The iPhone must be connected to the internet.
If those three conditions are met, you should see your iPhone when you login to your iCloud account from a computer or another iOS device with the Find My app installed. If those three conditions are not met, there is no way anyone can locate the iPhone.
Report the theft to the police, and your carrier in case they offer blacklisting which will render it unusable as an iPhone. Change all passwords associated with acconts on the iPhone.

Can I keep track of the location of my lost iPhone using the lost mode in Find My iPhone even after the sim is removed?

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
If it was never registered to your account then it won't appear on your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
The only other ways to find it that I know of (apart from on the actual device) are via the packaging, the backup on a computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061
