To twice open the same report since the infoview

Hello, I have a big problem. Detail : 1- I connect myself with the account u201CTESTu201D on the infoview. 2- I open a document u201CAu201D in mode DESKI 3- I refreshed it. 4- During the refresh, i go to another computer and i open a document u201CAu201D in mode DESKI on the infoview (with the account u201CTESTu201D). The second document "A" will open only when first document u201CAu201D finishes this refreshed I tested with DESKI only (intranet), and i haven't the probleme. Please, see the attachment. I use Business Objects XI R2 SP1 MHF1 Can you help me Thanks

I hope you are clearing the work areas & Internal table after the 1st FM SO_OBJECT_SEND is called.
Flow should be as follows:
1) Populate 1st receiver & Email details
2) Call FM "SO_OBJECT_SEND"
3) Clear Work area & Refresh Internal tables
3) Populate 2nd receive & Email details
3) Call FM "SO_OBJECT_SEND".

Many users can view report at same time.It depends on the server if it can accept those many users at same time.If number of users increases OC4J may not work properly.

Having two copies of the same report on the same page.

buddy.....I've tried urs suggestion,but now it is showing two quotations(easily adjustible in 2 pages) on 3 pages. I've tried Page Protect to set to No for all the repeating frames and fixed the horizontal & vertical length of all repeating frames.
plzzz let me to describe my report more deeply, it picks data from two tables,one master table containing quotation#,customer-id, date.2nd block contains details about repairing items. so all the data is in two
repeating frames which can be easily printed in half page. 2nd copy of this quotation will also print on the same page in the lower half portion of a page.
is it enough for u????
still if u peeps have any problem in understanding my problem then I think u peeps should have a look on my quotation report so that u may have a better idea of this problem.

hi gentlemen...I've solved this problem by doing a trick that I've create dual items in data-model i.e two queries and data group for each block and printed them on the same page,so it has solved my problem, is it the right way I've done the things or there is some other better idea???

Cant get back purchases. Apple ID acts as new but it has been the same email since the beginning. What to do?

So recently i realised that my ID acts like new. It cannot get back(restore) old purchases, not even inapp purchases.
I checked my emails and exatly a year ago i got an email from apple which said"welcome to itunes store" and that newbie blah blah like i just registered, but i have the receits from earlier on the same email adresse. Please help me!

On your iPhone delete the Apple ID you are using (As it is linked to your husband's iPhone)
On the Mac in the Finder use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears.
Navigate to the Preferences.
Find the item com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist
Drag it to the trash.
Restart the Messages app.
It will want you to re-enter an Apple ID.
Get your own Apple ID as Eric says.
Enter this on the Mac and the iPhone.
Sharing an Apple ID is only really good for iTunes and syncing things through iCloud.
FaceTime and the iMessages account should really have their own.

How to develp a subreport in the same page of the main report and processed when is called

I am developing a report that includes a subreport.
therefore The report is made up by 2 sections:
1) Show a grid (several rows - may be 100 or more - and some columns). It represent high level info (Each row represent a specific item)
2) The user click on a Row/column (eg: Item1, to see details that must be shown as graph.
Here the problem: Searching info about SSRS reporting for subreports, drilldown, nested report and so on, no ones accomplish the requirements for the following reasons:
1) Subreports: NOT open in the same page. The user must <go back> to see detail for other items, such as Item 2....
2) Nested and DrillDown: Process data as the Main report (they are hidden and displayed after user action). In my case this leads to performance problem, because: if the main report has 200 objects (it means 200 graphs processed and hidden at the same time
for the main reports).
3) DrillThrough and Subreport: The detail data are processed only when the user select the interested item in the main report. Here the problem: the report is shown externally.
Please, it there any possibility to have a subreport (or anything else) to be executed in the same report as the main report and processed only when the user make action?

According to your description, there is a main report with more than 100 rows of summary information, when users click the item of the row, the report need to jump to detail information shows as graph. The problem you are facing is that you are not sure
subreport, drilldown or drillthrough report should be used? You hope to set display detail information in the main report and keep high performance of report.
In Reporting Services, each subreport instance is a separate query execution and a separate report processing task. Subreports are recommended when there are just a few subreport instances. We should not use subreports inside a group when there are many
group instances, instead, consider using drillthrough reports. Drilldown reports process all data even when the data is first hidden. In order to improve the performance of the report, we can split drilldown reports into parameterized drillthrough reports,
because Drillthrough reports do not run until a user clicks the drillthrough link in the main report.
In this case, we can consider using drilldown or drillthrough report. In drilldown report, when we click a plus or minus button to expand or collapse a section of a report, the detail data will be displayed in place. By using drillthrough report, when we
click the link in the main report, the detail data will be displayed, we can come back to the main report by click return button in the drillthrough report.

Creating a Detail Table Based on an Action in Another Table or Matrix to Display in the Same Report (Not a Drill-Through)

Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible have a matrix which shows total credits by month and have drill-down groupings to display the invoice numbers for each credit. Then, once the drill-down is expanded for a particular month, be able to click on the invoice
number and have another table under the matrix display the details of the invoice.
I don't really want a drill-through because that opens a different report in the window, what I want to be able to do is stay on the main report. I also don't want to drill-into the invoice details from the matrix as that expands the matrix out and
makes it unruly and ugly. I've been playing with subreports but not able to get what I want out of it.
I hope this makes sense - is there a way to do this in SSRS?

After testing the issue in my environment, we can refer to the steps below to work around the issue:
Create a new table with the details of the invoice under the matrix.
Add a parameter named invoice which get available values from the invoice field in the dataset.
Right-click the [Sum(invoice)] cell to add an action with “Go to report” option, and specify the same report with the parameter below:
Name: invoice
Value: [invoice]
Right-click the table to add a filter in the table:
Expression: [invoice]
Operator: =
Value: [@invoice]
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

Correcting Multiple Schedules on the Same Report

Hi Created a report and scheduled it to run daily at 8am. Works Great. two months later a change is requested I make the change and republish the report, but fail to schedule it for the same time. Now I have the same report with the same name scheduled and running to the end user twice daily - 8 am and 2pm. she only wants to see it once a day. Furthermore I have another change request for the report which I have made and am now ready to republish and reschedule version 3.
Is it possible to remove the Scheduling jobs for the first two versions, but preserve the 100+ instances in the infoview folder that she may still want to access, and also publish the 3rd version and schedule it for 8am and keep them all as the same name and make it appear seamless to the end user?

Log in to CMC and Navaigate to the scheduled report then select the report and see the History of teh Report . from the History select the previous versions of the Scheduled jobs from the list click on the actions and delete .

Sub-details in the same report at a double click

Hi All,
Can anyone let me know how to display the below details in the report?
Initially we can display the basic list with month details. Say we have 12 months (12 lines) in the output. Now if I double click on the month (say March), in the same report under the march month, it has to display the number of weeks (say 5 weeks). Is it possible to display the information using the normal ALV function modules.

Hello,
You can use Hotspot for the month and Onclick command change the internal table with new entries and display this new internal table with Refresh Command.

Using so_object_send twice in the same report

Hello All,
I have a requirement in which i need to send a mail with a certain text to a receiver1. Then in the same report i need to send another text to another receiver2.
I am calling the function module so_object_send twice to do this.But only one mail is sent with both the receivers in the same mail.But the requirement is that two seperate mails should go to two different receivers.What can be the problem?

Deployed the same report twice

I am running SQL2008 R2, with Visual Studio 2005. I thought I selected to build the reports in VS, but must have selected build and deploy.
I have deployed the same report twice. Both reports have exactly the same file name. The original report has been configured with for a while. The new report i accidentally deployed recently.
I have tried going into the properties of the new report via the Report Manager and selecting DELETE, but it generates an rsINTERNALERROR.
The subscriptions for the 2 reports are different. How do i remove the second deployed report?

If I understand correctly, you want to deploy the original report to report server. However, for some reason, the new one report is deployed. As per my understanding, a report will overwrite the same name report when we deploy it to the same folder on report
server. So we can directly deploy the original report to replace the new one to fix this issue.
As to rsInternalError, we can review the report server log files to determine the specific cause for this message. By default, the log files are located at \Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.<instancename >\Reporting Services\LogFiles.
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

Using SAP Exit Variable twice on the same report

I need to use the same variable -Current Calendar Day (SAP Exit)- to filter against 2 characteristics on the same report.
Unfortunately it's not possible, here the error:
" Variable 0DAT is used in both (structure) element 11T4741S4XTWZUAJ9IQ6DUDE1, and element AZLK9YCS4XGJ940MRPMLXMDS9 for various characteristics (ZCBBIDATE, ZCBPHTDT). This is not permitted as the characteristic is required for the F4 value help structure."

As the 0DAT varaible check the other standard varaible which provides the same function in business content.
Or create a varaible with Customer exit and use it.
In CMOD write the code in like this
WHEN 'ZDAT'
L_ZDAT = Sy-datum.
L_S_RANGE-low = L_ZDAT.
and follow the other codes as you define for other varaibles.

Comparing fields from multiple entities in the same report (report builder 1.0)

Created a model that contains 2 entities. I open that model in report builder 1.0. When I drag a field from one of the entities into the design area, i can no longer see the other entity or use any of the fields from that other entity.
I need to use fields from both entities in the same report (join tables). In management studio i would simply write a query and join tables but i cannot figure out how to do this in report builder. Once i select a field from one entity
how do i select fields from more than one entity and drag them into the same report.

Would it be possible for you to send me instructions for this? I am not that familiar with SQL coding but I can definitely figure it out. I have been wanting to get information on reports from multiple entities for a very long time! The only way I can
currently do it is have our document management software people write the report for me for quite a large fee. I would much rather do this myself. Right now I can select a few fields from one entity (the main one), some from a second entity under that one,
but I cannot add any fields from a third entity! Quite annoying and hindering! Thank you :)

In a multiple monitor situation, how do I get popup windows to open on the same monitor as the parent application is displayed.

I have two monitors. I have an application that I run all day, displayed on my secondary monitor. Whenever a popup windows is launched form that application, it always opens on the primary monitor. Very annoying. Any way to get the popup to launch in on the same monitor as the parent application?
