To update my ipod to the IOS 5 I completely restarted my ipod, its frozen now though.

How do I get it to unfreeze?

Okay. I wanted to update my Ipod touch to the new IOS 5. I didn't want to mess anything up so I looked at the apple website so I knew eactly what I was doing. It said in order to update my ipod I had to reset it. So I did. It was only supposed to take an hour but its been over a day and it wont go pass the intital start up apple logo. Though it has restarted MULTIPLE times by itself. My itunes wont recognize it and I even let it die to see if that would work and no luck. Please help!
