To update Quicken 2004 to 2007, I need a Rosetta-capable Intel system. I have two Intel-based iMacs: MacBook 10.6.8 and iMac 10.8.3. Is either of these Rosetta capable? (I don't understand "Rosetta-capable".)

Although you did not indicate what exactly you needed to do, I thought that I would specify the exact instructions for you and others.
1) You need a PowerPC copy of either Quicken 2006 or Quicken 2007. If you do not already have one, you can download a full version of Quicken 2006 PPC from the Intuit website: http://quicken.intuit.com/support/help/patching/quicken-2006-manual-updates--mac -/GEN82200.html
2) Make MANY backup copies of your Quicken 2004 data file.
3) On your MacBook with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Rosetta installed, you would Launch either of these two PPC versions of Quicken and have this version of Quicken open your existing Quicken 2004 data file. It will automatically update the data file.
4) Go to the Intuit website and purchase for $15 their Quicken 2007 for Lion (which also works on Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion): http://quicken.intuit.com/personal-finance-software/quicken-2007-osx-lion.jsp
5) Launch Quicken 2007 for Lion and open your updated data file.
You are now set to work on either of your Macs; or, as I do, on both of my Macs!

Looks like Apple did the same thing with Lion that Microsoft did with Vista. Brought it on the market before it was ready.
I run a MacBook Pro and upgrading to Lion caused me two days of trouble and computer crash. Router settings removed and router blocked. Dongle not recognised, you name it.
In the end, I gave up and using my Snow Leopard installation disk and a Time Machine Backup finally got my computer up and running again. Thanks to Lion, I think I'll stay with OS X 10.6.8 at least it's reliable.

How do I transfer my Quicken 2004 data from old MacBook to new Imac with Mountain Lion

I want to transfer my Quicken 2004 (upgraded to 2006) data from MacBook running OSX 10.5.8 to new Imac running Mountain Lion with Quicken 2007 Lion. How do I do this? I thought from what I've read on line that all I needed to do was upgrade the quicken to 2006 and then the data would be readable by Quicken 2007 Lion. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It should open in Quicken 2007 for Lion/Mt. Lion

Quicken 2004 crashes on opening in Snow Leopard

We just upgraded to snow leopard and now we cannot open Quicken 2004 to access our financials. We tried Rosetta but no luck. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Buy Quicken 2007, quicken essentials for mac is a joke. This is the first Quicken product that I invoked the 100% satisfaction guarantee and I received a full refund for ES. Since I downloaded the product I did have any shipping charges to return ES. I have used Quicken since the early 90's (before that I uses a product called "Dollars & Sense" by Monogram, which I thought was a very good program.)

Problems using Quicken 2004 for Mac under Leopard?

I am using Leopard and still using my old Quicken 2004. It works fine for the most part but there are just small glitches. For example, I am continually prompted to set up charges as a recurring bill and it will not let me check the "No" button. I have installed allof the updates. There are no major problems, just minor annoyances.

Quicken warns of possible data corruption with even 2006, so while I wanted to wait for 2008 (stripped down as they will 'start all over' in features) 2007 has worked and had a couple updates.

So I went to open Quicken for the first time since installing the 10.6.2 update and I thought I'd share my experience.
After repeatedly crashing upon launch, I contacted Quicken support.
After a 3-hour chat (my favorite part was when the rep asked me what a G4 was)
I was given the R3 update, which still won't open my main file.
As it turns out, I have a drive that I can boot into 10.4.11, where everything seems to be working now. I was able to open a smaller (664 kb), simpler more recent file, but my main file (6.4 mb) with all my important stuff can be opened only under 10.4.11.
I learned along the way that Quicken never updated the code for Intel processors, and that Quicken is proud to announce Quicken for Mac 2010. Here's a quote: "Our Quicken Mac 2007 and earlier users should note that this is a brand new product, so some of the features you've grown used to may not be included"

If it's a Core Duo Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update.
If it's a Core 2 Duo or better Mac, upgrade it as if it was a Core Duo Mac, and once done, if desired, open the Mac App Store, and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, go to the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

When users follow documents, sites, or tags, status updates from documents, conversations on sites, and notifications of tag use show up in users’ newsfeed, so users need to their MySite to view the updates in Newsfeed by OOB and you need
to migrate the MySite to SharePoint 2013.

Based on my known, Exchange 2007 SP3 Rollup 12 doesn't have a known issue so far.
About the steps of update Exchange 2007 SCR with CCR, please follow the above article Mike provided.
What's more, I recommend you make a complete backup of the clustered mailbox server prior to applying the update rollup and again after successfully applying the update rollup.

I am unable in install all updates and Office pro 2007 (KB2553089,2553090,2584063,2553074,2559530). I am no very techincal but I do know some. I also tried to repair Office and INstall the cd and It would not take it. This all occured about

I ignored this for sometime but today I lost my patience and decided to fix this nagging problem. The update prevented me from using the shutdown option as then it would download the updates and then fail over and over again.
None of the steps helped however they set me on a path. I uninstalled all unwanted programs but that was not what fixed the issue. I noticed other than Office 2007 I also had installed Word viewer 2007 , Excel viewer, Powerpoint viewer. I uninstalled these
voila!! Windows update said I don't need these updates on which the install was failing, I checked for updates again and the above updates never appeared in the list of updates found.
I thought I will put this out there just incase someone else runs into similar situation as me. Good Luck.
