To upgrade from MobileMe or not?

I have MobileMe and I'm just wondering whether to risk the upgrade to iCloud or not. My main concern is about calendars. My Mac and iPad 2 will be fine but I also have an iPod 2G which has been working fine with MobileMe. I know that I can add my iCloud email account separately as the device won't support iOS 5 but once I've upgraded to iCloud would I also be able to add my iCloud calendar to the Pod. Just being able to view it and not edit it would suffice. I'd rather not have to move to a Google calendar.

OK I've answered my own question - I have iCloud calendars, contacts and email all working on my iPod 2G running iOS 4. I may have to sacrifce a few features such as email aliases which aren't available on the Pod now and Push email doesn't seem to work but the email, contacts and calendars are all available which is the main thing.
On the Pod I went into the Mail, Contacts and Calendars Settings where I added CalDAV calendar with the following settings:
Server: p03-caldav.icloud.com
User Name: ********@me.com for example
Password: YourPassword
Description: iCloud or whatever
