To use different tempo on in diferent parts of the song

im recording a song wich changes the tempo in some parts, im trying to record and then to do the mix but everytime i do this one part always get to be the same as the other so the song is not like is supossed to be.
Any help please?

There is an other walk around that the one suggest in the other post
(that one is, by the way, the simpless and easyess way and should be
the one consider for passage over short).
But here the other complex math way:
First you will have to make a click track with a software perc. instrument.
Second you will have to know the corelation between your 2 tempos.
The simplest corelation beeing double time wich you just and beat on the upbeat of your tempo track.
More complexe would be: Beginning at 100 and switching to 76.
Wich is not fesaible, but switching to 75 is.
To have a 75 time in a 100 file you have to make the beat long as a quater + one 8th of a tuplet.
The maht is as follow: 100/75 = x/1
x here = 1.33333333333 with is a beat + 1/3
Replace 75 by 80 and x would be 1.25 (a beat + 1/4)
Have fun.
Don't forget copy and paste is very usefull to create such beat track.
And divide beat track into bar length to quick reference. (It's time consuming to do, but save time at recording.)

If I am playing a song in iOS 7 while the phone is locked, unlocking the phone seems to cause the Music app to skip to a different part of the song. The old "part of the song can't be played" message

Okay... so I bought an MBP for recording on Pro Tools and Garage Band.
There are two unusual trends/problems that have occured since my purchase on Garage Band that I'm hoping someone can explain and maybe help me out with.
First off, when I first start playing a song in GarageBand, I ALWAYS get the "part of the song can't be played because you too many tracks... etc." message. For some reason, I have to do a couple of minor tasks in GarageBand, then just start my song, hit okay on that message prompt, start again, about 5 times, then I usually don't see it for awhile.
Why does this happen? Is there anything that I can do to help this (besides the Optimizing Performance steps because I read and have done all of those.
Second, I just finished a song, and it had a ton of tracks (probably about 20), and so I locked them all up, and tried to listen to my song... it will not play back. That stinkin' message just keeps coming up. I have iStat Pro on my Dashboard... I hit play on my song, and then go to my iStat and monitor my CPU and RAM, all is good... but the song won't play. I have something like 1.9 GB of RAM left and my CPU is only at 40% or so... but within 20 seconds the song will not play and I get that message.
Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong? Is there another part of my computer that is being used to the max that the song cannot be played back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried double-clicking the Home button which brings up all of the active apps, touched and held the Music icon until all the icons started wiggling, tapped the Close icon in the upper left corner of the Music app to close the app completely, but the app is still open and still randomly stuttering. I did notice that the play button icon flashes in the upper right corner of the screen when this happens and it appears and disappears in concurrence with the Music app stuttering. When the music starts, the icon appears and when it stops, the icon disappears again. When the music stutters on and off, the icon appears and disappears rapidly and in sync with that random glitch. This just started today for no apparent reason. I turned the iPad off, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on. As soon as it was finished starting up, the same music glitch began again immediately. I'm using iOS 6.1.3.

Well, no one seems to have any answers or ideas for me, I'll update what I've been able to accomplish.
I reloaded all 14 disks in the time frame of watching Lord of the Rings on Fri. nite.
Funny thing is, the first disk pulled the info from the online store! Hooray!
Wait-then all the next 13 could find no information online...what the heck is up with that? So I MANUALLY assign each disk a new track # to co-inside with each disk, spent about 2 hours doing that.
But still, itunes tells me my playlist is too large, there's not enough space on the ipod. so I unchecked 1 1/2 disks (I'd listen to 1/2 of disk 1 previously) and voila! there's my ipod full of my book. Finally. But what a lot of bother just to keep things in order!

I have just bought iLife '06. After everything was installed and set up, I loaded a GarageBand 2 song and pressed play on my iControl. Just seconds into playback, I got the following message:
PART OF THE SONG WAS NOT PLAYED
This song has too many tracks, effects, or notes to be played in real-time.

Funny, I never had that problem with GarageBand 2! The song always played with no such issues before I updated (except the one I guess we all know, and that's the beat counter (between the transport and master volume slider) doesn't show accurate time and seems to be a little behind and slows down.
After reading other posts, I seem to be a little more lucky than most: my iControl still works (without having to connect it after GarageBand has loaded), I don't have any duplicate file issues, my JamPack 2 is still there but (on the not so lucky side), I do have the snap-to-grid issue.

I played the song on my office Mac (iMac G5 1.6 GHz), and here's what happened: It played without any problems on the first run, from beginning to end, the cursor always being snow white.
When I went back and tried out several soloed tracks, starting here and there, suddenly I got the "too many tracks" message, and now the song won't play through.
Interestingly, the cursor still stays white. So the computer doesn't show any signs of CPU strain, it just stops playing.

ITunes syncing only part of the song to this particular iPod?

I'm trying to sync a long mp3 (approx 16 megs and 34 minutes in length) to my iPod video, but iTunes only syncs about 7 minutes of the recording, then repeats that same seven minutes over and over again until it reaches the length of the original mp3. I've tried resyncing the piece, rebooting my iPod, and changing the mp3 so it reloads it to the iPod differently and nothing works. The mp3 plays fine in iTunes and on my iPod Touch, but I really need it on my older iPod, too. I'm using iTunes 9.0.1.8 and the iPod has the most up-to-date firmware that I know of for it loaded on it. Any help would be appreciated.

when you play the song on the ipod, have you tried using the jump to option to jump past the point where the song starts repeating?
Have you tried converting the file into another format? ie right click on song in itunes, chose convert to ACC.
have you tried restoring the ipod? warning this dose delete every thing off the ipod.

Having problems using ION tape express with itunes. The song is on hard drive as temp1 not the name of the song. And I have problems playing it in itunes
because it says it cannot locate the song'

Then correct the name of the song or point iTunes to the new file.
Issues with restoring should be directed to the manufacturer of the backup software/device... this is not an Apple or iTunes issue.

It appears that this is the only song it does it to. I have tried updating the ipods and itunes. The song plays fine in itunes on the computer. Is there anything I can do? Did you find a solution? I have not found one yet. I am going to try a completely reformat the iPods, but not sure that will work.

How to use an equal sign as a part of the value in a property file

say I have this line in a properties file:
args = -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m
obviously I can't use the (=) as is. What should I do to make it work?
I tried to use \= and \:, but it doesn't work as well.

A property file contains "key" lines or "key=value" lines the '=' character loses its special meaning after a key is read so you can use '=' characters in the 'value' part of a property.

Is it always crashing on the same project? Or have you tried different projects?
When exactly does it crash? Right on start up, or what are you doing, when GarageBand starts crashing? Use a midi interface, record audio? Import audio files?
The crash looks, like garageBAnd wre trying to open a file and cannot open it.
