To Value not highlighting in the Infopackage Selection

Hi All,
I am extarcting the data from the IS-Utilities(R/3) to the BI system, my datasource is 0UC_EDM_02, in the Infopackage - dataselection for the Profile infoobect, it is highlighting only the FROM Value and TO Value it is not highlighting,
I checked in the datasource 0UC_EDM_02, the Profile field is used as selection field,
but in the infopackage, TO value is not highlighting, i need range of values to be given in the infopackage,
Please, suggest on this

When I created infopackage , in the Data selection tab, I had the Infoobject named Profile, I need to give the range(FROM & TO Values to extract the particular data) of Input ,
but, FROM value , I could give Input and TO Value it is not active or not highlighting to insert some Profile Value,
Please, let me know , if U r not clear about this,

Search using approriate keywords in SDN, u get most of the details, i have now done the same searched and have pasted below .
Try ME2N.
Click on the "dynamic selections" icon and add the release indicator as an additional selection. Enter the release indicators that you class as "awaiting approval" and you will then have your list.
The ME2* series of transactions are not that much use prior to 4.7, the layout is poor. But if you have 4.7 or later you can get the screen to use the ALV format and this transforms the ME2* (i.e. ME2L, ME2M, ME2N etc.) transactions into VERY useful reports.

The data target is not appeared in the Infopackage under datatagets tab.

In the Info Cube structure i check the Trassactinal check box, In the Infopackage level under the data targets tab i selected the 'Select data targets' radio button icon but the data target is not appeared in the table.pl give me a suggetion in which location can i make a change.

Alv is not appearing in the same Selection Screen

First time using cl_gui_docking_container.
I have a problem, my alv is not appearing in the same Selection Screen.

First you have to create you own screen ( dynpro ) with a screen number ( 0101 for exemple ) , you need to pu a custom control in it , name the custom control ( lo_cont )
For the screen created you need to create a module for the PBO , in this module you sould put you code for displaying the liste :

Value not available in the context node

Hi,
I have created one custom component through BSP_WD_CMPWB with only one view called u2018partneru2019 with sample button.
In this view partner ,then created one model context node with reference to u2018 BuilHeaderSearchu2019 search component with only one attribute u201CPartner IDu201D.
When I test the component , WebUI screen shows partner id input box, and sample button. After entering partner id value in the input box, then I am pressing sample button. But entered value not available in the context node. Please help me, how can i get this value?

FIXED type Attribute value not equal to the default

I am in the processing of doing AP Inbound process. During My process I have created Invoice XML and XSD and mapped with XML Gateway OAG XSD.
BPEL able to pool the directory and process the XML file. But I am getting below error at XML Gateway error log.
FIXED type Attribute value not equal to the default
value ''.
Could any body let me know when do I get normally this kind of error.

If you have imported the source code you could use a workaroud i have found. Create a new workspace and a new Project. In it create with the wizard a new Struts Controller Page Flow. After, create a action class, and some jsp pages.Then put some Struts components with the Components Palette.Be sure that in the newly created pages, jdeveloper has put the struts taglib. Now you can rebuild your project.
It seems that jdeveloper does some internal libraries configuration, but when you import the source code, it doesn't do it.

NOT EQUAL in the InfoPackage Data Selection

Hello,
I need to build a NE, NOT EQUAL <> in an InfoPackage
I need to exclude some DataSets from beeing loaded.
The DataSets to be excluded can be distinguished by a
certain value of a an InfoObject.
For example:
All DataSets with 0COMPANY_CODE NOT EQUAL "0001" should not
be loaded.
How can I set in the InfoPackage DataSelection a filter
to exclude some DataSets ?

Infopackage Selection Tab has some mandatory selections to be fild in for loading.
"From value" is excepting values but "To Value" is greyed out ???
Its for a SAP extractor - FERC.

All the selections have 1 which is allowed but why To value is greyed out ?

Null values not displaying in the LOV on the parameter form.

My report works perfect while in Oracle Reports 10g, however when I move it to our menu (Oracle Forms 10g) it does not display the null in the LOV on the parameter form.
This report allows the the user to select by inspector or district or everyone for certain dates.
Ex: I have 4 parameter fields. The user must enter the start & end dates and either the Inspector or the district or leave the inspector or district null to run for everyone.
The district LOV is :

Again, it works perfect in Reports! It eliminates having 3 reports on the menu. This one report gives the user the option of selecting dynamic parameters.
Also, I got so frustrated, that I went a different route of using a default where.
I am stuck with the error of ORA:00933 SQL command not ended properly

I set the initial value to 1=1 and it does not like it.

A progress bar control only displays numeric values. When do you mean by "unassigned values"? What would you expect to be presented?

Virtual Characteristic value not populating in the query output

Hi Experts,
I am new to BAPI and I am using this to populate the values of virtual characteristics.
I wrote the below code to populate if an order status got some status value then i need to populate the flag y if not n.
I got the order value in the reprot. I need to go to order master data and should get the status and then i have to do the comparision and populate the flag zww_teco in the report.
The below is the compute method of my implementation class.

But I am not sure why the values are not populated. But when i debug , i could see the values for

But i could get the values of <fs_0cs_order>, <fs_zww_teco> after assign component statement.
And it is firing me a dump in select statement. Also when I click c_s_data i am getting S____274, S____505 fields like that in the structure but i could see p_cha_0cs_order
Can you please guide where i am missing ...

In my case , even then i clciked generate report,
even after that P_CHA_0CS_ORDER = 35
and after assign component P_CHA_0CS_ORDER of structure c_s_data to <FS_0CS_ORDER>.
the <FS_0CS_ORDER> is nothing , here i should get the value of cs_order value of that record but it is coming empty which i am not able to rectify. How should i change or i need to put any other setting to get the value populated into my <FS_0CS_ORDER>.
Can you please guide me .

Hierarchy not listed in the infopackage

I found OSS note 841191, but the procedure is not clear. If I can't see the list of hiers from the infopackage how can I select them as 'Relevant for BW'?
Here are the steps for the procedure:
You must therefore carry out the following steps in your target system:
 1. Transport a hierarchy package for a DataSource that you want to load into the target system (the selections will most definitely disappear in this case because the rsosohie/t contains nothing at all for this DataSource).
 2. In your hierarchy package in the target BW, select the 'Refresh' button in the hierarchy tab.
 3. Select all hierarchies that you want to use later with an InfoPackage as 'Relevant for BW'.
 4. You can now transport the hierarchy packages. The selections are retained if the hierarchies in the target BW have the same names as the hierarchies in the source BW.
Would someone clarify what OSS is saying here.

I am not sure about this landscape. I am used to working with a one-to-one mapping of systems. I checked the Tools and mapping of source systems, and it saids on BWQ:
BWD100 BWQ100 BW Quality
DEV100 QAS500 QAS Client 500
QAS100 QAS500 QAS Client 500
On BWD, it saids:
QAS100 DEV100 DEV Client 100
It seems that QAS 100 is mapped to QAS500. I am totally not getting this. I am not sure why QAS100 is mapped to QAS500, so may be it is a correct set up and I just have to do something else for this landscape.

Value not reflecting into the transparent table when checked through se11

Hi friends. i am using the following code to add data to a transparent table already creted by me.Now i am adding data to it through a ABAP program.It is displaying the output when I execute it but the new record added in the program is not saved itno the table actually.my code is :
REPORT ZWRITE_DATA.

move 'achal' to zlfa2-field_name_1.
update zlfa2.
select * from zlfa2.
write / zlfa2-field_name_1.

the above code is not showing the value 'achal' in it.and also no error message is being displayed.

TVARVC variables not showing in the variant selection

Hi,
My client want to use the TVARVC table to maintain the settlement period. So everymonth, the variant for the settlement run will retrieve the settlement period from this table.
I was following the instruction:
1. run tcode STVARVC
2. Create a new variable SETT_Period_Current
3. Put 9 as the value for now.
then I used the SE38 to create a variant. In the attribute screen, I put "T" in the field "Selection Variables". Then when I selected the dropdown list of the field "Name of Variables", I did not find the variable "SETT_Period_Current" in the list. I don't know what went wrong.
Can anyone shed some lights on this?

Bug: JList does not always show the right selection

I have a JList (Navigator model!) on my form which contains the data of a certain view. The view consists of several attributes but the navigator model always only shows the value of one field. The field I have choosen hasn't an unique value but that's no problem for what I want to do with the JList.
When I select another row in the view object useing it's key the row is selected in the view object (which I can check looking at the primary key attribute of the currently selected row), but in the JList sometimes the wrong row is selected. I noticed that if there is another row with the same value for the visible attribute (in my case an attribute called "name") as the row which is selected in the view object sometimes this wrong row is selected in the JList. This occurs if the wrong row with the same visible value (name) is at a higher position in the list. So it looks like the BC4J framework checks what the value is of the visible attribute of the currently selected row in the view object and used this value to select the first row in the JList that has this value. This doesn't necessarily mean it's the right row!!!
E.g.
The initial view object:
PK | Name
1 | test
2 | another test <-- currently selected row
3 | test
The initial JList:
| test |
| another test | <-- currently selected row
| test |
Now I tell the view object that I want to select the row with primary key value "3".
Now my view object looks like this:
PK | Name
1 | test
2 | another test
3 | test <-- currently selected row
But my JList now looks like this:
| test | <-- currently selected row
| another test |
| test |

Well, how should the list resolve the difference between two "displayed values" that are same?Well, if I select a certain value in the list the connected record in the ViewObject is selected. In other words the JList seems to know enough about the ViewObject to select the correct record (it doesn't select the first record in the ViewObject with the display value!). So if "it" knows how to do it one way, why not the other way?When you select by index then the object corresponding to that index is selected and that means the right row (if you are able to figure out which row by simply having the knowledge of the row index though even though the displayed values are duplicate - but I won't say that's realistic). The other way, it only has a value - string that it has to match with a set of values in the list and that logic has no clues which of the "duplicate" entries would be the right one.
To resolve such conflicts you could add another "displayed attribute" in the list which is going to make the attribute-set unique in the list.I did do that already, but then my list becomes read-only (not selectable) because the attribute I added is a primary key attribute which is a DBSequence field what may not be changed once it has been inserted. The weird thing is, you can't change the value when you select it from the list, so why does it behave like this? (In other words why is a list with a read only display attribute also read only? because selecting something in a navigator list doesn't mean something get's changed in the selected attribute value!). I'd chase this one. This definitely sounds like a bug. Readonly-ness should not be derived from "displayed" attributes but "updateable" attributes.

Customise button not highlighted in the audio section in Premier Pro CC

I want to record a voice over directly from the timeline, however after watching a tutorial of how to do so when they say to right click on the audio section the customise botton is not highlighted for me. I need to get this assignment in for today cna anybody help please!!
