Is the colour in the CSS set to #000000? In iBooks the text that is a link is purple. You can change it to force it to be black but if someone switches to night mode it won't show up on the black background so it's not recommended.

How to control text for PDF Files in the BI7.0 Broadcaster

I am running a web template in the BI7.0 Broadcaster. The output prints in the PDF format. In the precalculation tab I have set up 4 variables(VAR1,VAR2 .. etc) . The main folder where these PDF files get stored I can control the text but dont know how to change the PDF file names which fall into this folder. All the PDF files have the technical name and number(like XXX_00000,XXX_00001 etc.) How can I control the text for these files.

it is not possible to get any influence on the filenames. If you use Filternavigation the filename is generated to be unique.

How to control text animation duration?

I found a similar question to this in a forum for a different product, but the only answerer didn't know the answer and merely recommended "experimenting around until you figure it out," which is possibly the most unhelpful answer ever. Lol.
My question is: How do I make it so a text animation brings the text in and then allows the text to sit on the screen normally for some time after that? Currently, when I add a text animation, it insists on extending the entire duration of the clip, from beginning to end. How do I confine the animation to, say, the first 2 seconds of the text, and then allow the text to sit normally for 8 seconds after that?

If you are familiar with Keyframing in Flash, then it will be so very easy in PrE. You already have the concept (the hard part), and all you need to get will be details on the mechanics (where buttons are located, etc.) in PrE.
Steve takes you though all of those mechanics, and introduces you to the Effects Control Panel, which you will use just like the Stage in Flash (if they still call it that). The look is a bit different, as you are working in Video, though you are animating in the same way. You set the Keyframes for whichever Effect you are working in, and PrE will create the Tweens for you.
I actually like the interface (the Effects Control Panel) in Premiere better, than I did the one in Flash Studio 8 (my last version), but then I came to Flash from a film background. When I started doing Video, it was like meeting up with an old friend, however the concept of Keyframes from Flash proved very, very useful.
I do not recall the last time that I used any animation Preset, as Keyframes give me so very much more power. The same for creating PiP, whether animated, or not.

How to display text in colour and arrange radiobuttons in sequence

Hi all,
according to my requirement the screen should be appear like this Rate Caregory in green colour
under this Select Action should be displayed in blue colour
under this three radiobuttons should be displayed like this sequence
copy Massupload Automated Rate Processing if copy radiobutton is selected remaining should be disabled.
but for me the radiobuttons are displaying one by one i have to display it in the above sequence manner.
kindly send me the steps how to achieve this functionality.

and create on label also for each radio button. three labels for three radio buttons.
and as you said if i create an attribute name flag type wdy_boolean and if i bind it readonly property of all radiobuttons.suppose if i select copy radiobutton remaining two will be disabled.
actually it will disable all the three radio buttons.
but in anycase your requirement is that user should not be able to select the other radio buttons once he has selected one.
that requirement will be fulfilled by this.

I have found at some website, there are a software can generate corresponding signal (I suppose that is digital line) to driver a relay board, the relay board is 8 channels. which out put is pin 2, pin3, pin 4, pin5, pin 6, pin7, pin8 and pin 9 of parallel port to control it . it is well control, how can it do ? and I want to simulate it at LV with parallel port too , how can it achieve ? which command, or a simple sample which you provide will be appreciated.

Cant control text and colour of background in WPC

it also does not take the default portal theme. i dont understand it. also the controls are not there to change.

Hi Buzz,
you really can't get that feature in a standard delivery right now. there are a few ways which you can try to do that:
1) You can change the XSL files for the WPC content. This will affect the components for which the files have been published.
Go to --> Content Administration --> Km content > root>etc>wpceditor>styles. eg: wpc_editor.xsl
2) You can also change the CSS files for these and then change the styles to suit your look and feel.
Go to --> Content Administration --> Km content > root>etc>wpceditor>css>runtime> content.css
you will probably need a restart to resolve this issue.

Try with this option,
Check the copying riutines
Go to transaction VTFL then select your document types then go in to the details of the copy control settings at header level and itemlevel here check the copying routines and logic in volved in those routines.
As per standard these are copying routines should be
At header level.
003-Header/dlv.-related
At itemlevel
004 - Deliv-related item
007 - Inv.Split (Rec/Div)

Use the methods GET_TEXT_AS_R3TABLE / SET_TEXT_AS_R3TABLE and then you will have to use the SAVE_TEXT to store in the database.
The GET_TEXT_AS_R3TABLE method will give you back a internal in which text, in which text on the screen is existing. Similarly once you fetch the data from database using READ_TEXT, use the method SET_TEXT_AS_R3TABLE to put the text on the screen.
These methods belong to class CL_GUI_TEXTEDIT class.

Have you transferred your iTunes library from the backup for the laptop that died along with all other important data to the new computer such as documents, photos, etc.?
If not, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased as the first step when syncing the iPhone with iTunes on a new or different computer.
Have you launched iTunes on the new computer?
Is you iPhone avaialble under Devices in the iTunes source list on the new computer?

Not the websites; I know how to change the font style and colour used on websites. What I'm wondering is how to change the font colours of text displayed on the interface of Firefox itself. Specifically, I want to change the font of the "100%" text atop the Zoom option since I have no idea when or how it was changed (might have been me; I don't remember ever doing it, though); I attached a screenshot for better reference.

Setting that makes black text look colour to a printer

A quick sorry for not being totally on the ball with indesign (cs4), so please help me with simple wording if you can help as I am not a professional.
I created a colour booklet which was fine until I was asked to do it all again but this time with the outside cover being colour and the rest of the pages inside black and white. so this I did by changing all text, boxes, strokes etc in to black (not rich black just 100%K) and ran the jpgs through Photoshop to make them greyscale, so far so good. At this stage everything was as I needed it to be so I hit the export and saved a PDF version and sent the file. Now for the reason for doing this. My friend soon realised that printing colour pages on their works professional multi function printing device is expensive, as colour pages are charged for at higher price per copy compared to Black and white by the machines operator. Now for the problem: The booklet is being printed with a colour front cover and the rest is in black and white as I wanted it to be, but as far as the printer is concerned it is seeing the black text as colour so is charging for it. Ouch.
Of the few things I know of preferences I have made sure that it is not set to output all blacks as rich black which I thought would be the cure but it would not seem to be. I am at a loss to understand the other output settings or other stuff which may be telling the printer to use the colour cartridges instead of just the black. Help Please
If it is of help I made and exported a single page file in the same way with just a greyscale jpg on it and that printed just fine with the printer charging it as a black and white page as it should so the problem realy is in how the text is being seen.

OK, so where we are at the moment.
over the holiday I had the reason to re-format my computer which isn't such a bad thing as I got to reload Indesign which should have corrected any problems in the indesign preferences ( I would Hope) and set everything to its default:
On opening indesign for the first time I changed the appearance of black setting to display and output all blacks accurately.
I went in to bridge and set the suit colour settings to Europe general purpose 2 and synchronised.
As it looks now: I made a new file where I typed one word in black (Helo)
I checked the typed word with the separations preview, turning off the black and cmyk and the typed word disappeared which is a good thing as this means there is no other colour present on the page except 100%K.
I saved and exported the file to PDF as Press Quality, (the only other box ticked on the general page was the optimise for fast web view which I left alone and unchanged) I left all other pages in the export area unchanged from the defaults produces by the Press Quality preset
I sent the file off and guess what: the printer saw it as colour and charged it as colour.

We are developing WebCenter Portal applications using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.
All our pages are based on ADF.
Currently, we have 2 similar projects (actually – they are two different branches of same source project).
But the have one unexpected difference - when I check html-code of generated pages in one project I see

We have no ideas why one generate content="IE=7.0" and another content="IE=8.0".
We compared all possible configuration files, but have not find any difference.
I've googled, but found only post by Frank Nimphius that is applicable to 11.1.1.4. As far as I understand in that version ADF didn't put meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" in page head section.
The problem is that our pages looks awfully in IE7. And we don’t have to provide IE7 compatibility.
So, my question is - why one project generate content="IE=7.0" and another – 8.0 and how to control it?
