TOC not showing up in FlashHelpPro

Has anyone ever had any experience with the Table of Contents
not appearing in FlashHelpPro?? When I upload a FHP project to the
RoboHelp Server, and then try to open my project, it all opens
except for the TOC. WebHelp Pro projects display just fine. Any
advice??

My FlashHelp system window definition has the address bar
excluded. However, I have noticed too if I then right-click the
menu bar and enable the address bar when my help has been called
using CSH that there is a bunch of extra stuff added to the URL.
This is caused by the scripts that concatenate certain parameters
onto the URL, such as which buttons to display in the toolbar. Why
the extra stuff is needed, I don't know, if you're getting things
to show up correctly without it. Are you calling context-sensitive
help?

TOC not showing up on mobile devices after generating Multiscreen HTML5 output?

I'm using a trial version of RoboHelp 10. I created a project and used the screen profile: Android_Galaxy_Tab and the Screen Layout" Android_Tablet_Layout and generated HTML5 output from that. I navigate to the folder on my computer and click index.htm and it shows up in Chrome browser fine, but I upload (via FTP) the exact files to my web server and navigate to the web files and the TOC doesn't show up. As well as on mobile devices. The web files are here www.superdesigngirl.com/android_galaxy_tab/index.htm. Do I need to publish the files to the web via RoboHelp? Is this a known issue? Am I setting something wrong? Please help. Katherine.

Observations:
When your site is uploaded to our server, and we access it with our mobile devices, we experience the same issue with the TOC refreshing instead of drilling down. The same sort of thing happens when we access your index - regardless of which topic we try to display, clicking on any link simply refreshes the index. We didn't have this problem with our own index. I wonder what's different?
When we access your site, directly via our iPad, it works perfectly. However, when we access your site via my Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 920 running Phone 8) I experience the same problem of your TOC refreshing like ours does. Also, your index doesn't work on that phone, whereas ours does.
I should probably add that what I uploaded to our server was everything in the \empcareus\EmployeeCareUS\EmployeeCareUS_Project\!SSL!\Multiscreen_HTML5 directory to our testing server at ****.com.au/onlinehelpdemo/mobile/emp
Was that the right thing to do?
I've also thought this might be a permissions issue, but setting all file/folder permissions to 777 hasn't made a difference.

UPDATE: I took our files home and uploaded them to my own web server. They work perfectly on my Windows phone and iPad. Something's wrong at the work server end, I guess. Any ideas?

Why is my TOC not showing page images?

All my TOCs are blank: my working ebook file and the template files that come with iBA show transparent boxes instead of images of the pages/chapters. Is there a "View" or Inspector setting I should change, or has something gone kaflooey?

Also, once you get that fixed, you will need to clear the floats within the #Body_Area before closing it otherwise it'll collapse to a thin horizontal line. Do that by adding "overflow:hidden" to the rule for that container.

Placeholders (breadcrumbs, Mini-TOCs) not showing in Printed Documentation

I've included Placeholders (breadcrumbs and Mini-TOCs) in Master Pages. They work as expected for the HTMLHelp output, but when I generate Printed Documentation (.doc), they aren't there.
I checked to make sure that I didn't accidentally assign them an online-only condition (I didn't).
I'm using RoboHelp 9 (RH9). Do I need to do something special? I just tried specifically applying the Print condition to the breadcrumbs in the footer and using that condition in the build, but that didn't help.

You don't get breadcrumbs or mini tocs in printed documentation.
I haven't viewed the lack of breadcrumbs as a problem as they are merely a means of navigating on screen and would be of no value in hard copy. Mini Tocs however describe what is in that "chapter" and should be included.

RoboHelp V8 - TOC not showing in left hand pane

Using RoboHelp for HTML version 8, I am publishing to my local hard drive.
In the source files, I can see a table of contents, but when the output is generated, the TOC doesn't appear.
We have used RoboHelp for many many years and the TOC and Index and search would appear in the output. In IE, I have to click the button to allow blocked content, and the TOC still doesn't appear. It is blank in the left hand pane.
Any suggestions?

Slide titles not showing up in TOC - Captivate 7

Can someone please tell me why my slide titles will not show up in my project? It just says "Slide 1", "Slide 5", etc... I've not worked with the TOC much so this is all new to me.

TOC will show Slide labels, not titles on slides. You can edit them in the TOC itself, but it is perhaps easier just to label the slides.
After labeling, you'll have to click on the refresh button in the TOC

TOC is not showing in document

The TOC is not showing up in the Document Inspector. I have no way of actually creating one. Help.

A TOC is made up of paragraph styles that you specify in Inspector > Document > TOC
This screen shot shows Heading 1 as a TOC Style. Heading 2 is greyed out because there are no paragraphs with that style in the document.
View > Show Styles Drawer to apply a style to a paragraph.
The TOC searches downwards. Click at the top of the document then Insert > Table Of Contents. It is highlighted in blue because it is selected. You can add more chapters later. Click on the TOC to update it.

TOC will not show in landscape view

I'm not sure what I did, but I can not get the TOC to show up in the landscape view. It shows fine in portrait. All I have is this box with a blue outline and no text. Any ideas? I've sent everything else to the back and even went to the length of deleting everything, but I can't get it to show

I think I figured it out. I was un-aware that in landscape the TOC only shows sections, not paragraph styles like in portrait. Since I didn't have any sections in my chapter it didn't show anything. Super frustrating to say the least!!

Why does the navigational toc in iPad not show the "Cover" and "Contents" entries?

I recently noticed that the navigational toc in my epub on iPad does not show the "Cover" or "Contents" entries although they do show up okay in ADE. I tried naming the Cover in the <text> portion of the .ncx as "Cover image" and Contents as "Where are things" and these 2 entries showed up in iPad and linked to the proper items. Does iPad choose certain wording to omit these entries?

Thank you for contacting Mozilla support. I understand that you have imported bookmarks and now there are two unsorted bookmark folders.
There is one by defualt and there is the one you imported. To better understand how you imported the bookmarks, can you please provide the steps you took to do this?

So, as discussed the main issues are:
1) The TOC doesn't generate all the listings (only those with the applied paragraph style "Heading 1 - Appendix")
2) When I try to create a new pargraph style and apply it to existing or new text, it reads the pargraph style in the Paragraph Style menu, but the style doesn't actually apply.
Hopefully you can figure something out from this. I really appreciate your help.

TOC not appearing in Printed output

Hello,
For some reason, my TOC no longer appears in my printed documentation. It worked, at one point, but now I just see "TOC not found" in the document. I'm not sure what happened to cause this. This only happens in the printed documentation. I've tried creating a new TOC, same results. The TOC works in the sample projects. Can anyone help?

Egh? Updating the table. Please use the camera icon in the screen where you reply and include a screenshot of the TOC in Word, or the error it is showing.

Bookmarks not showing up in Printed Documentation

Hello all. I'm evaluating Robohelp 7 and all seems to be
working ok except for printing the documentation to PDF, (or word
for that matter) but that isn't so much of a concern at this point.
When I get to the second screen of the wizard to organize the
chapter layout and choose to do this from the TOC, some of my
bookmarks do not show but some do. I can't see what a difference to
determine why some do and some do not show up there.
Anyone have any suggestions. I would be grateful!

Sorry for the confusion what I meant is of the bookmarks that
aren't showing up some of them have spaces (not actual spaces), and
some have none.
Upon looking further at the TOC I did notice a difference in
the bookmarks that are showing up and the ones that are not. The
ones that are showing have a # symbol rather than the underscore. I
tried changing one of the ones that isn't showing but it didn't do
anything.

Cannot create new Data Source - Oracle ODBC does not show in System DSN

On Windows 7 x64, Installed Oracle 10g to use ODBC to connect to Oracle database but am not able to create new data source as Oracle ODBC does not show in System DSN.... only shows SQL server etc etc...

If you installed 32-bit Database Client, try the 32-bit ODBC admin tool: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
Note that 10.2.0.5 is the earliest "10g" version supported on Win 7.

ITunes does not show up on apple tv 1st gen.

i have a 1st gen apple tv with the 160 gig HD. recently, it will not show the itunes site. Under teh movies tab there are my movies and trailers and that's it. Does anyone know how to get the itunes store back on apple tv?
