"Today" and "Yesterday" Button is lost in Finder!!

Hi,
The "Today'' and ''Yesterday'' Button in Finder is gone. It is usually shown in the ''Search For'' Drop down list but i can't find it!!

Email Drafts in Mavericks using Today and Yesterday

I have email DRAFTS folder set up so the most recent DATE Saved Draft is on top. This was working perfectly until a couple weeks ago.
Today is 7/2/14. The DATE for a draft from yesterday should be "7/1/14" and instead it is listed as YESTERDAY.
A DRAFT from today should be 7/2/14 and instead it is listed as TODAY.
I have 50 drafts in DRAFTS (don't yell - it works for me).
I thought I was losing drafts and have been REDOING work that I thought was lost !!!
Drafts that Mavericks mail marks as TODAY and YESTERDAY, appear WAY DOWN in the my Chrono list - not at the TOP where they belong and where they used to be when they had REAL DATES and not word names: TODAY and YESTERDAY.
I now know the work is NOT lost and how to find it. Can someone pls restore REAL Chrono Date Order to DRAFTS? Thank you!!
PS: a similar issue is occurring in FINDER... where CHRONO is no longer CHRONO due to WORDS where DATES belong.

I used to export my old messages using a smart mailbox as my corporate account also has a size limitation.
Upgrading to Mail 7.0 broke exporting of smart mailboxes. I was using a workaround to archive the mail and then export the Archive mailbox instead which worked.
With the latest update to build 1822, archiving of Exchange messages appears broken as well. Smart mailbox exporting still broken too.
I modified my workaround as follows:
1. Create a mailbox under "On My Mac" called Archive.
2. Select all messages in my smart mailbox.
3. Drag the messages to the On My Mac folder under Archive as created in step 1 above.
4. Highlight the On My Mac Folder under Archive.
5. Choose Mailbox, then Export Mailbox and browse to a folder where you want the mbox file created and choose the folder.
Next time you just follow steps 2 through 5 of course.
Seems like the long way around to me and I'm annoyed that I have to keep changing my workaround as Apple breaks features in their mail program.

Why is firefox only showing today and yesterday's history?

firefox will only show me today and yesterday's history, how can i see the history before that? i did clear recent history a few days ago but i should have more history then just today's and yesterday's.

History is only listing "today" and "yesterday" websites. How to get longer history

Firefox is my default on my new windows 7. I am only able to keep history for "today and yesterday" If I use IE, then a complete history is maintained. EX: today, yesterday, last week, 2 weeks ago, etc. I called Dell and they said it was a firefox setting needs to be changed. I can't figure out what to do

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

Mail 4.5 not showing any dates other than "Today" and "Yesterday"

All of my mail messages are dates 5-01-13 except thos that are "Yesterday" ort "today. The settings in my System Preferences are correct and all other programs are O.K. Only mail seems to be the problem. Any ideas?

I'm also having this exact problem. I have Mail 6.6 running on Macbook air 11" OS X 10.8.
All the emails apart from today and yesterdays show the date as 05-01-2013 in the top right hand corner of the mail window scroll list, i.e. date in blue. Only when you click on a specific email to show the whole conversation/message does it then show the correct date and time in the top right hand corner of the message window.
Any ideas anyone?? So annoying when trying to search for emails!

STO3N doesn't shoe today and yesterday stat ???

In BI 7.0, STO3n tocde statistics for today and yesterdays are not displayed.
When i click it says that no data available.

Process chain not loaded today and yesterday

Check in sm37 if you process chain was triggered or not. If it was triggered, whether it finished successfully or not.
If everything looks fine here, go to WE02 in your source system to check if any idocs have failed. If the idocs are posted succussfully, check in sm37 here if you job for dataload got completed succesfully or not.

The history only stores today and yesterday

I have a problem with history, It only stores today and yesterday in the history.
In preferences I have "remember history".

Since you have deleted places.sqlite completely and Firefox is creating a new one, it's hard to imagine repeated database corruption.
To rule out a potential problem in Firefox's program folders, I suggest the following:
(1) If needed, download a fresh installer for Firefox 30 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(2) Exit out of Firefox.
(3) Rename the folder
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(4) Run the installer you downloaded in #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
The new installation of Firefox should discover your existing profile. Does it read places.sqlite correctly?
Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:
* C:\Program Files\OldFirefox\Plugins
* C:\Program Files\OldFirefox\browser\plugins

How do I increase the length of my browsing history; all I get is today and yesterday and I want to go back 100 days.

When I go to History: Show all History all I have is today and yesterday, but I want to see the sites that I was on a week or even a month ago (I realize that this may slow things down a bit, but it is a price that I am prepared to pay)

The setting for a specific number of days to save History was removed from Firefox several versions ago. Why? Too much History was slowing the loading time for Firefox and sometimes making Firefox sluggish.

Ssrs 2008 r2 obtain today and yesterday's date

In an SSRS 2008 r2 report, I want to set the default value to yesterday's date in a parameter called startdate. In a parameter called enddate, I want to set the default parameter value to todays date.
I have tried the following to set the default values:
=today()
and
=DateAdd("d".-1.today()).
The above does not work.
Thus would you let me know how to set the default parameter values of start date to yesterday's date and the enddate to today's date?

10.8 Finder no longer lists Today and Yesterday

I just upgraded to 10.8    Two very useful features of 10.6 Finder have gone:
(1) the list of files created/modified Today - Yesterday - Last Week    .... how can I get that back?
(2) the ability to search for a name-string within filenames ONLY i.e. I do NOT want an enormous list of files CONTAINING the string, just those files with the string within the filename.    How can I get this filename-search feature back?

You can create a new smart folder which will appear in the sidebar and choose last date opened or last day modified or date created.Also you can choose the kind of file and include all your files in the mac or also the ones you have in icloud.

The folders today etc isn't there for default like in Lion but in Mountain Lion you can create smart folders and is like almost the same.

As of yesterday I can no longer access any browsing recent history, i.e. history only show me sites visited x-6days (today being the 21 of Sept, I can only see up to the Sept. 15; all sites visited after that date are not displayed).
I'd be thankful for any answer that may resolve this matter.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.

I am having problems connecting my imac to a Kodak printer wirelessly. This was previously working fine. The printer states it is connected to the home network but the connection between computer and printer has been lost/ cannot find printer.

In addition, I contacted kodak support and they wished to take control of my computer in order to rectify the problem. I did not allow this as I was worried about security . Can anyone tell me whether once you allow someone to take control of your computer, then it is a security risk. What protection does my imac provide ? Thanks.
