Today button in calendar - IOS4

Got the iPhone 4, restored my IOS4 backup from my 3GS, now in the calendar app (all views lists/day/month), pressing the today button, takes me to tomorrow? Any one else? Ideas?

You don't say where you are but do you have time zone support on but an incorrect time zone set I use mobile me and the setting is under mail,contacts ,calendars and then scroll to the bottom and either turn off time zone support or set new time zone

I've not bothered to work out from that pile of magic numbers exactly what you're tring to draw but is it not something that JTable would happily do?

ICal TODAY button doesn't work

I have a recent problem I can't figure out...hoping someone on the discussion board can help. When I have Mail open along with iCal, the Today button on the calendar doesn't work. If Mail is closed, the button works fine. I re-installed Leopard thinking that might help but no such luck. Any thoughts?

I have a reliable work around that I found by accident.
- make sure iCal is stopped (command-Q)
- start iCal
- change to a different day
- Today button should be enabled
- close iCal (red x)
- click iCal from the dock
- Today button stays enabled from this point on

Numbers ios6 today button missing???

Guys,
I have a spreadsheet (duh) and a date field. When I used to add new entries there was a 'Today' button, and now it's gone???
Also, the format for the currency field used to only show the dollar sign ($) as a prefix (on currency formated fields) and now show (CA$)
This seemed to happen after the update to iOS6 and the subsequant Numbers update
How can I get the TODAY button back?

Okay, the TODAY button seems to show up when you choose DAY in the green bar of a date&time formatted cell, I wish it were available in the default/initial view when you choose a date&time formatted cell, then i wouldn't have to click on day.
The currency format 'should' be document specific (prefence) but is universal and can be changed in the iPad's region settings.
So, I guess I figured everything out

IOS 8 non working today button within calender

Well, after updating to IOS8 on my iPhone 5 the functionality of tipping the "today" area in calendar app isn't working any more.
Also the sync of appointments and other calendar entries of my iMac and mac book are no longer synced to my iPhone.
Seems to be an issue with the latest IOS version.

Try a reset first. If that doesn't solve it, do a restore. If it still isn't solved go the Apple store. It should be returnable for full refund in the first two weeks.

'Today' button ceased to function after update.

Is it just me or the 'Today' button stopped working after the recent update?

I found that hiding the iCal window instead of closing it will keep the Today button functional. Just hope I remember not to touch that little red button. (Restarting iCal restores the function.) The search function will also keep on working as long as you do not close the window. Somehow these functions "die" with the window and are not restarted when a new window is created. Definitely not the quality of programming I was becoming used to with Apple.

Get it Today Button

I've tried to download a few apps, but for each and every one I cannot click the Get it Today Button. The Pointing hand cursor does not appear just the arrow. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

No today highlight in Calendar App after Yosemite upgrade

Since installing Yosemite, the weekly view in the Calendar app no long shows today highlighted (except for the date in red). I preferred the old way with the entire day highlighted. Is there any way to get that back?

You may wish to roll back from Yosemite and wait to see whether the issues will be solved and reported as such.
Weeding out in older plugins seems to have helped some in some cases. It also seems that JAVA Runtime may be involved, for some it seems to help to roll back to an ealier version, for others to update to the newest.
All the above is more or less hearsay so far, with no definite final confirmation.
In any case, there is something to be sorted out by someone. Yosemite was made long after CS4, so it may be difficult.

No list view button in calendar month view with iOS 7.1

There is no calendar list view button in the month view or any other view on my iPad Air after the iOS 7.1 update? Is this just an iPhone feature or did I Miss something?

The list view at the bottom of the screen is an iPhone feature. If you tap the magnifying glass in the calendar, that brings up a list view.

How to Take Out Default Buttons on Calendar ?

Does anybody know how to hide/remove the default "Previous" and "Next" buttons on a calendar ? Any advice is greatly appreciated !!

Yes, I just want to display the calendar for a particular month selected by the user. I am able to do so. However, the "Next" button still shows even though technically there is no next month to go for. Clicking the "Next" button will then display the calendar with a line saying "No rows returned" and with a "Previous" button. The "Next" button, "Previous" button, "No rows returned" message together is causing confusion to the users. Therefore we want to hide/take out the two default buttons there. Any insights ??

Remove or Diable the Create Button in Calendar iview

Hi everyone,
This is in regards to the Calendar iView in collaboration room. I created a team room and added SAP Calendar in that.When I view it, I see the "Create Appointment" button which I would like to remove.
The users should not be able to create any appointments from there. I removed the following command groups(peopleGWAppLink) from Collaboratio properties. But this will remove the link "Create Appointment" from the collaboration launch pad but not within the calendar
What should I do so that I can achieve my requirement? Hope somebody can help me~~

take a copy of your present Web template, and on the copy web template got to HTML code, ther secr hor SEND button code, delete that code and save it and run that tenplate with aquery and check SEND button is revoed from template, after that you can do the same for original template.

Where is 'today' button?

In the Tiger ical there was a button on the mini-month interface. Clicking on it brought you back to the today month. It is gone in Leopard? Or am I not looking at the right place?

In my version on Leopard it's the big button at the top under the traffic lights. It's marked Today

Let me re-qualify my issue. Under my Google Calendar account I have the main calendar I originally set up when setting up my account. I then set up several other calendars under this same account such as events, work, family and so on. All the calendars showed up on my iPhone and iPad with no problem and worked great for a year and a half now until yesterday. My main calendar does still show up but the others no longer appear on my devices. Going on line to look at my Google calendar/calendars everything is fine with all of them. Any thoughts as to why they no longer show up on my iPhone or iPad? Thanks again.
