Today I imported quite a lot of Audio CDs. When I wanted to listen to them I realised that most of them aren't in my library. And they did not appear in the recently added list either. Can anyone tell me what happened and where to find them? Thanks!

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

HI, as of today can't use Gmail with Apple Mail anymore. neither on Macbook Pro nor on ipad. But is still works on my iphone, guess because I didn't update on the iphone. So can anybody tell me what happened and how I can fix it?

I have had three seperate credit card charges from itunes but I haven't ordered anything and they do not appear on my itunes purchased list.

If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle. I would, however, suggest that you change your password to your Apple ID, using one that will be difficult to guess, just as a precaution. You can also go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store, though if the false charges didn't come through them, there will be nothing they can do.

I cannot open downloaded files and they do not appear in the download folder

Up until yesterday everything was fine. All of a sudden when i try to download anything via firefox it shows it is downloading it completes the download but when i click the downloaded file in the download section or try to click open containing folder nothing happens. Also, I have checked the download folder and no file is present there. I have tried everything in the faqs and they do not seem to work thank you.

I seem to have used all my iCloud storage 15gb but I'm not sure I'm managing this wisely. Can anyone tell me what to do

I recently upgraded to 15gb of iCloud storage. Before I knew it it's full again and sometimes I'm trying to take a photo or video something and it won't work because of storage issues. Could someon advise me on how to manage all the devices to iCloud. What should be up there? We have an iMac, iPad, 2 x iPhone 3 & iPhone 4. The kids have loads of apps not sure if this is a problem. Help anyone.

My personal opinion is use the Mac for the backups and only rely on iCloud as your secondary backup. Transfer all of your personal videos onto your Mac - import them using iPhoto. Transfer any purchased movies into iTunes using the Transfer Purchase feature.
Anything that you purchased from iTunes, or the App Store do not count against the 15GB of storage that you have. However, the data in apps will count against that amount of space. If the kids have lots of games that could be eating up space, that can be a bit of an issue. Too many old email messages can be removed. you have to decide how you want to manage the storage. What is important to keep and what you can remove.

You don't have that problem when you use iTunes on your Mac - unless of course your hard drive is ready to burst at the seams becuase the computer is full as well!

Can anyone tell me what happens to an iphone when you actually fill it up to full ?

A friend of mine is blind and therefore never sees the 'nearly full' message on her iphone (iphone 4S, latest iOS, I think 7.1.1) as it fills up.
We see lots of odd behaviours from her phone and I'm trying to work out if its caused by the phone being full ?
For example, I'd expect the iphone to STOP:
- Recieving iMessages
- Apps wouldn't be able to store data (eg Skype, Whatsapp might not work)
But, would it lead to potential corruption? For example I see these happening:
- Some imessages get through from some friends, but not from me. It looks like a block is in play, but I'm able to call my friend.
- Calls coming in are one-way audio (I wouldn't expect a full iphone to cause this)
- Skype isn't updating, it doesn't seem to recieve or send messages/videos.
What other things would happen ?

Yes I'd expect that. But I'm concerned with what I keep seeing happen on my friends phone. Apps seem to corrupt and stop running. SMS's apparently make it to the device (according to the operator), but they're not displayed. Replies to me seem to come from her email_imessage address rather than her phone_imessage address and when I reply it doesn't deliver (meaning that neither SMS nor imessage appear to work), but only with me, it works with others.
If as I suspect, the SMS database is corrupted, then I'm also wondering if the backups of the iphone in iCloud and PC are also corrupted (or does the backup process filter out likely corruption).
I would have thought that iOS would protect applications from this somehow, but I can't see how - a full iPhone is a full iPhone right.. no way to stop data corruption.

Can anyone tell me what happened?

I bought Black Tie Insurance for my expensive new Palm Pre. I have all receipts, and my initial charge went through. No subsequent charges were sent, though. No, they weren't denied by my bank, my bank never even got a request for the supposed recurring monthly charge. Many customer reps assisted, bottom line, emails & voicemails were exchanged in my behalf, all of which I have retained. Best Buy CS reps said the PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. The charges went through, not sure what thier error was. Was this a lie? My account shows as SUSPENDED. I'm sure most suspended accounts are due to non-payment. Since this isn't the case in my account, and I phoned & wrote stating that this needed to be fixed, and noting that I would NOT accept any lapse in coverage due to an administrative error, where do I go from here? Do I just have an expensive phone with no insurance? It's too late to sign up for Sprint's coverage, but I'm sure they would have billed me appropriately. Any advice would be appreciated.

Timing of text box will not appear. My text boxes stop working on slide 5 and they will not work for the remainder of the slide show.

Timing of text box not working. I get the first few slides to work and then on slide 5 my text boxes will not appear. And they do not appear for the rest of the slide show. Help anyone.

Text caption is timed to appear at 2 seconds, but you have a click box at 0sec. Its duration is very short, which means that I cannot see if there is a pause. I suspect this click box is pausing at the end of its timeline, which is at 0.3secs and the Text caption at 2 seconds will not appear before the user has clicked on that click box. The timeline is the core of Captivate, learn at least how to read it.

If you want the green text caption 'Click on...' to appear right at the beginning of the slide, you have to check its Timing accordion: set it to start at 0 secs instead of 2 secs and extend its duration to the 'rest of the slide'.
I don't know what is in the Group. That group and the HIghlight box will disappear at 3 seconds. Or maybe the action that is triggered by the Clickbox is different from 'Continue'?
