Eu gostaria que todos os e-mails enviados a partir de uma determinada conta (Vamos supor "Conta A") sejam também enviados para outra conta (Vamos supor "Conta B"). Eu sei que se eu for lá nas configurações da "Conta A", eu posso definir que sempre que "Conta A" enviar um e-mail, cópia deste e-mail vá também para "Conta B". O problema é que com essa configuração, quando "Conta A" abre a tela para começar a escrever, aparece o e-mail "Conta B". Se "Conta A" quiser ela poderá simplesmente apagar "Conta B" evitando assim que o e-mail que ela está escrevendo vá para "Conta B". Eu gostaria que o endereço de "Conta B" não pudesse ser alterado por "Conta A", assim "Conta A" ficaria sabendo que uma cópia do e-mail foi enviado para "Conta B", porém nunca poderia evitar a cópia porque "Conta A" não teria como apagar o endereço para onde a cópia está sendo enviada. O motivo da minha pergunta é simples: aqui na empresa, por questões de segurança, é preciso que fiquem cópias de todos os e-mails recebidos (Isso é feito direto no nosso provedor de Internet) e também dos e-mails enviados. Deste modo sempre teríamos certeza de ter documento todos os e-mails da empresa, de modo que se no futuro surgir alguma dúvida, será possível pesquisar no banco de e-mails para esclarecer essa dúvida. O problema é que se "Conta A" puder apagar o endereço para onde a cópia será enviada, isso sempre poderá ser usado como pretexto de que determinado e-mail nunca foi enviado, porém se "Conta A" não puder nunca apagar o endereço de "Conta B", então o pretexto do e-mail não ter sido enviado não é mais válido. Se alguém puder me ajudar, agradeço antecipadamente.

Isso pode ser feito no servidor, tanto com as mensagens recebidas como com as mensagens enviadas, é mais seguro e não importa qual cliente de e-mail está sendo usado.

This likely is down to what timezone you are in, what timezone your mail server is in, and what timezone the sender and senders mail server are in. Each email has various head lines in it which define the time it is sent, and the time it passes through each mail server involved. (Usually but not always this maybe just two servers.)
Here are a few lines extracted from an email I received from Google.

The bottom line is the line from my own mail server, but the other line is the line from Google's mail server. I at the time this email was processed was in the UK in GMT - it was before we switched to BST (British Summer Time), therefore the offset from GMT was zero hours, hence the +0000. Now that we have switched to BST the offset is +0100 i.e. one hour. As Google are in the USA their servers are seven hours behind GMT and hence the -0700 figure.
If you have outsourced your email to a company who has the servers located in a different country to yourself this maybe the explanation.

What happened to toDo's in Mail

What happened to ToDo's in mail? I used to be able to create a ToDo from a mail message I have not found a way to do that with the upgrade to Lion.

Hi, NO_PC. I missed the to-do box on Mail also, but I played with Mail and iCal till I found how to do it. I checked with Apple Express to be sure this was the way to do it.
In Mail, mouse over the header until you see the grab hand. Drag it to iCal and drop it into the events column. Then, grab the event and drop it in the Reminders column. It will make a reminder but careful! cuz both event and reminder will be in focus. If you delete the event, you'll delete the reminder too unless you first click in white space (or esc) to remove focus. Then click on the event and delete.
Open the reminder and you'll see the URL box says "Show in Mail" so you can refer back to the original email. If you "archive" the message it'll just stay in the archive mailbox till you're done with it.

Tienes que entender que Apple no va apoder ayudarte a cambiar la clave sin comprobar a fondo tu identidad e identificarte como el primer dueño del iPhone.

Mail 3 and gmail issues, notes/todo's in Mail

I use Mail 3 with my google mail account using IMAP.
I'd like to use the new notes/todo function provided by Mail. When I create a new note, it will be reset to the default values after a minute or two.
And it doesn't appear in my iCal calender(s) at any time.
I've tried both provided ways to store the notes: as mail on the server and as a local one. The problem is always the same.
When I delete the "notes mail" from my gmail account using the web interface, Mail 3 hangs when I terminate it. Removing the note using Mail 3 solved this.
But has anyone here an idea how I can use the notes feature with my gmail account (IMAP)? And is it possible to see my reminders in the calender?

The Gmail app is a direct link to Gmail so deleting from the Gmail app will delete said email however from the default email app that is simply put a forwarding address so the email will not be deleted - It may be deleted or made exempt from future sync'ing but you often find that if the email hasn't fully loaded then it will be seen as unread and will reappear

ToDo's in Mail

After visiting a local Apple store, I noticed a way of creating a "todo" from an email. The video tip showed selecting/highlighting the text, say "dinner tonight", then clicking on the "todo" tab at the top of the menu bar. This created the "todo" which you could then add an alarm, change the date etc. The todo then showed up in the users iCal at that time under the calendar selected. However when I do this, all I get is a todo under the todo list, nothing in the actual calendar. And whats more I can't select any other calendar than "mail todo". I asked a Genius and their only (and it was a fairly vague response) was that it was something to do with the mail item being on my mac, as opposed to a MobileMe email. This doesn't or didn't seem to be definitive enough for me.
Has anyone seen the tip video I'm describing and/or can anyone explain how to create a todo that appears in the calendar? The reason being is that as we all know, todo's don't show up on the iPhone, but if they were added to an iCal calendar, then at least there would be an event.

Essentially, if you go into Mail's Preferences and choose the option to store your notes and 'to do' items 'On My Mac,' and if you access your email through POP as opposed to IMAP, you can then associate the 'to do' items created from within an email with your other iCal calendars but will lose the ability to sync the 'to do' items using MobileMe.
It's convoluted and somewhat esoteric, which is surprising for a Mac.

Filtering of ToDos in Apple Mail

I'm impressed with the ToDo view in the new Mail 3.0. However, I can see no way of filtering the list. In particular, I am attempting to hide completed ToDo items. I've searched the menus and interrogated the Help file without success. I cannot believe that this basic setting has been omitted. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The column sorts are quite sophisticated and it's easy to avoid having future To Dos at the top of the list. I'm currently looking at my list and it is headed by items with no due date, followed by items for Tomorrow and running down to the most distant item. All completed items are sorted at the end of the list. I notice, incidentally, right clicking on the To Do icon in the sidebar brings up the opportunity to create a new calendar--in effect creating a category. If anyone were dedicated enough to create dozens of calendars to act as categories, the calendar column in Notes would allow a sort into calendars/categories. It's a rough and ready form of filter, but certainly not the answer. I've never understood iCal's obsession with having lots of calendars. Other PIMs, including Entourage, do very nicely with one calendar and a set of customisable categories.

Todo created in mail not added to iCal

Just upgraded my MacBook Pro with Leopard, and have installed all the software updates. I Can't seem to make a to-do that I create in mail to show up on my iCal calendar. The to-do gets created in mail no problem, and shows up there on the list of to-dos. It has the correct information, title, date, time, etc. and shows as being listed on the correct calendar (my "work" calendar). However, when I go over to iCal and look at that same calendar, the to-do is not there. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for help.

and the work calendar appears in ical under your email account name, correct?
I would play around with todos and calendars as follows:
1) create one or several other calendars in ical under your email account with which you create your to dos in Leopard Mail.
2) try to assign your already created to do to other calendars, see what happens
3) create other to dos in these other calendars from Mail, see if they appear in ical
4) create other to dos in these calendars under your email account name in ical, and see if these to dos appear in Leopard Mail
let me know what you find.

What happened to the todo feature in mail and notes

I use the notes and Todo's function in Mail, and I noticed that my Todo's that I had prior to upgrading to Lion are no longer available. I also cannot make anymore Todo's. Did Apple do away with this feature, and are there any plans for a replacement?

I think they've been moved to iCal Reminders.

Can't Delete Todo Items in Mail

I have a bunch of todo items listed in Mail that are grayed out. Every time I try to delete them them go away, however when I start the app up again they come back, Any ideas on how to fix this?

On My Mac is a terminology for any mailbox you create to be stored on your Mac's hard, but you no longer see that Icon, normally, in the Sidebar. The On My Mac mailbox you see in Trash has been created by Mail when you deleted a message from one of your "On My Mac" mailboxes.
Double click on your hard drive Icon, and in the resulting Finder window, click on the Icon of a House in the Sidebar -- this opens your Home folder. The double click on the Library in this Home folder, and find the Preferences folder in it. This Preferences must have the com.apple.mail.plist file -- do you find it?
Once you find the plist file, but before taking any action do the following:
Be sure to Quit Mail, and in the Finder open Home/Library and locate the Mail folder. Control-click over the Mail folder, and choose Duplicate -- then drag the resulting copy to the Desktop for temporary backup. Next, open Home/Library/Preferences and find the com.apple.mail.plist file and drag it to the desktop.
Relaunch Mail, which will open as though new, and when prompted to import anything say Yes or whatever affirms. Next re-enter your account info, and Mail will set up new account folders, but will keep your other mailboxes, but we have the backup sitting on the Desktop if all does not go as expected.
Ask any needed questions, and keep us posted.

Why does Mail crash on start-up because of some ToDo ?

After upgrading to 10.5.1 (via Software Update), I now have Mail crashing (the correct wording is "unexpectly quitting") at every opening attempt.
I went through many discussions on similar issue, and if I feel better not to be alone with this crashing, none of the proposed solutions has solved my problem. Therefore I elected to post a new topic.
I went into the CrashReporter, and found this information:

Actually, before I experienced the first Mail crash, I did create a new ToDo in iCal.
So, I'm now pleased to know that these crashes are due to some ToDo, but I still don't know how to fix that.

You know what ? Mail crashes again any time I try to read (or preview) a message.

I also noticed that the "ToDo" icon in Mail's toolbar is dimmed. Why ? Any reason ?

Setting a default location for ToDo items created in Mail

I use Mail for all of my e-mail accounts which includes 1 IMAP account, 1 Exchange account, and 1 MobileMe account. I also use ToDos extensively and often create ToDos from e-mail message and the other shortcuts that Mail provides to do this. My problem is that I end up with ToDos scattered around all of my IMAP accounts since they are added to whichever account I am using when I create the ToDo. Is there a way to configure Mail so that it does not store ToDos on the server but instead always store them On My Mac?

Look at the Mail's preferences, under Composing. Select where you like to save notes and todos.

How to print todos from Mail?

I'd like to print my todo list from Mail, but print is not available. It will let me print notes, just not to dos.

While ToDo is technically located in Mail, all of its output is in iCal.

Mail is Not Responding upon adding ToDo item...

+ToDo integration in Mail: I didn't really use this feature in Mail before although have heard about it.+
The problem is that *Mail application hangs for no obvious reason once I try to add new ToDo item*. Cursor becomes a spinning wheel and nothing happens. It takes forever unless application is forced to quit.
Here some more details: iCal had google calendar (which I didn't even setup) since I am a GMail user (I guess it was created by Mail on a first day of Leopard installation) besides my local calendars. So, Mail application was attempting to add items there with no luck. It may had caused problem and Google Calendar was removed today by me from iCal for that reason. Problem remains open. Literally nothing changed.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?

Mail is really odd application (at least in case of ToDo items add).
1. New ToDo item is added into calendar specified in options ("On MyMac" or "on server") in case it is created with push onto "New ToDo" button without any server selected (aka non of emails is previewed|selected currently).
2. New ToDo is added into calendar that corresponds to current server in case mail is selected.
+Here is an Example:+
Problem: +GMail account is setup. Have an email from friend that asks to view some link. Want to do a ToDo item that would remind me about link in one or two days.+
_Solution A_: +select link inside mail and press ToDo. New event will be automatically added into corresponding GMail Calendar in iCal (Mail client is supposed to create calendar in iCal if one does not exist).+ BAAD
_Solution B_: +Select link and copy into clipboard. Unselect any mail (say, go to inbox folder without any server picked, or RSS - use any mean of doing that). Click ToDo button and create event. It will be added to whatever is specified in Preferences (say "On MyMac").+ GOOOOD
