Told laptop has been repaired but still not arrived back

I sent my g505s laptop off to germay on 4/2/15, as it was not powering on either through battery or mains.
DPD collected on 4th feb and after a couple of weeks i rang customer service to be advised that it was dispatched from germanys repair centre on 16th feb and they would send an email to dpd germay and if they could not find it i would get a new laptop.
I left it a week and rang again this time to be told that they would need to regenerate a dispatch code.
Left it again a week  and still not recieved laptop back, so rang back to be told that they was unable to deliver even do i have not recieved a card through the door to notify me of failed delivery, and they would regenerate another delivery code and send it me via email so i could track it (not recieved).
its now been over 40 days since i sent it off for repair and dont seem to be getting anywhere with customer service has any one got any advice.

    My iPod Classic 120GB makes a clicking noise when syncing with iTunes and will not sync. It will not turn on at this time and has been charged but does not hold the charge. After trying to sync, iTunes states that iPod must be restored. Have tried to do this but not successful, I receive an error code and have done the troubleshooting steps for the error and I am still not able to sync or use my iPod. HELP?

    Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
    Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
    Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
    Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
    After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
    Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
    If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
    A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
    Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
    Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
    During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
    Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
    After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

  • An iphone has been detected but could not be identified

    I downloaded the latest iTunes to my laptop.  I had to install the mobile device portion manually in order for it to see my devices.  Now it sees both my new iPhone 6+ with ios 8.1 and my iPhone5 ios6 (I can't upgrade this phone to 8.2 because I get a generic Unable to Install Update.  An error occurred installing iOS 8.2.))
    After identifying my iPhone (the icon appears) it will hang for about 5 minutes and then I get the message "An iPhone has been detected but could not be identified" So I have rebooted my laptop, both iphones, tried different usb ports, different sync cords, turned off the wireless.  Nothing has worked.
    I have spent about 5 hours trying to 1) get iTunes to recognize my iphones, 2) trying to upgrade my iPhone 5.
    I want to:
    1) backup my iPhone 5 on iTunes so I can restore it on my iPhone 6+.
    but I will settle for
    2) restoring a one month old icloud backup on my iPhone 6+ but again, I can't get iTunes to attach to my iPhone 6+
    I'm thinking it's something to do with iTunes but I have uninstalled and installed it 5 times already today.
    This is my 10th iPhone.  Even though I have only owned this iPhone 6+ for 5 hours I'm thinking of returning it.  I am so frustrated..

    I am also experiencing a similar problem.  The popup error window reappears repeatedly, but I can make it go away after clicking on it.  Sometimes is takes 10 or more times, but it will go away for awhile.
    Additionally, iTunes doesn't seem to recognize when a device is no longer connected via wifi, e.g. someone takes an iPhone or iPad out of the house. iTunes appears to be trying to reconnect to the device, and if it's selected in iTunes the process will eventually fail after several minutes, but iTunes is unusable while it tries to reconnect to the device.
    Wifi sync enabled on all devices.

    1 - iPad v1, iOS 5.0.1

    I'm trying to put songs on my mom's new iPod. It has never been used before, and it is an iPod 5th generation nano. I'm using Windows XP.
    Every time I connect it to iTunes, it says "An iPod has been detected, but could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod and try again."
    I've disconnected and reconnected it about 15 times now, restarted the iPod, deleted and reinstalled iTunes, restarted the computer, and it still says the same thing.
    What can I do?

  • Clearing Doc has been reversed, but still assigned to Original Document

    Hi,
    Here's the condition:
    - Clearing document has been reversed, but instead of using FBRA, user use FB08.
    - Now the document still assigned to this clearing doc.
    - In FBL5N this doc is open (in BSIS table it does't have clearing doc also) , but when I tried to clear this, error message "No appropriate line item" appear.
    So there are INCONSISTENCY between documents (which still assigned to clearing doc) and BSIS table (which is not assigned to clearing doc).

    Your question is bit unclear. As per SAP standard functionality, you could not reverse the clearing document through FB08 because it will throw error as "Document includes already cleared items - reversal not possible".
    I guess as It is not a clearing document you have reversed, it would be a Incoming payment document which is not linked to open items(Incoming Invoices).
    Please check the customer report and database tables properly, comeback if you still unfix the problem.

    whenever i connect my ipod nano to my computer, itunes gives me a pop-up that says, "an ipod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect then reconnect the ipod, then try again." when i do that, i get the same pop-up. beneath the pop-up stated before it also says "If the problem persists, uninstall Itunes, then install Itunes again." but after doing that, it still will not read my ipod and scan it in.

    Does the Apple ID on the iPod match the Apple ID on iTunes?

    I upgraded to 11.1.14.62 this morning.  Not iTunes is saying "An iPod had been detected but could not be identified properly".  I unlugged/replugged in.  I reset the iPod, I removed iTunes and reinstalled.  I'ver tried three different cables.
    When I put the iPod in disk mode it shows up briefly as a disk then goes away.
    Any ideas?

    Hi there  - I've spoken with Apple and here is their response (worked for me). You need to uninstall not only iTunes, but also (in this order):
    1) iTunes
    2) Apple Software Update
    3) Apple Mobile Device Support
    4) Bonjour
    5) Apple Application Support
    Then you restart your computer.
    Then you install the latest version of iTunes (which will reinstall all those things you uninstalled).
    Then you restart your computer again.
    Mine is working perfectly again now.

  • The problem may be temporary. Try again later to back up. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk. Have tried disk utility to repair but still not working.

    My time machine backup has failed for the last couple of days. Im getting the message saying," error.  this may be temporary, if the problem persists, go to disc utility to repair the problem."
    I have done the first aid in the disc utility  and still not repaired. Do I erase the disc, as it says????

    1. Reboot the TC alone.. Just pull out the power cord.. count to 10 and plug it back in.
    If TM still cannot find the disk..
    2. Do a full network reboot.. everything off.. restart in correct order.. modem.. wait 2min.. TC wait 2min.. then all the clients..
    If TM still cannot find the disk..
    3. Factory reset the TC and do a fresh configuration. The TC is known to occasionally throw a wobbly and spontaneously forget its name.. part of old age.. (2years is starting towards old age for a TC).
    The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
    Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
    Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel..  add no more pressure after that.
    TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
    No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
    If TM still cannot find the disk..
    4. Wipe the old backup.. and start afresh.. this sometimes also happens.
    You can try a verify of the disk. See A5 here.

    The device remembers recently used items. If you deleted the contact and don't use it again the device will eventually forget that contact. Patience is the key here.

Hitting the download buton just brings up Creative Cloud. When I try to open Photoshop CC it still says my trial period is over.     When you have the Creative Cloud app open click on the gear icon and from the context menu choose Preferences.
    With the Preferences dialog open click on the General tab and then choose Account. Click the Sign Out from Creative Cloud button.

  • Firefox keeps stalling and crashing; Adobe plug-in has been updated, but still says it's "out of date" on my add-in page...

    I don't have any "out of the norm" add-ons...
    I recently experienced Firefox continuously crashing whenever I try to attach a PDF to an e-mail in Yahoo (not a large file size - about 300kb). I checked my add-ons to see if there was an issue there, and noticed there was a message stating "Adobe Acrobat is known to be vulnerable and should be updated message", even though I thought I had already updated it.
    I went ahead and re-downloaded anyhow... it successfully installs, and then I still get the same error message.
    Furthermore, this issue was recently added on top of my Firefox already running slow and crashing... I often clear my cache and have tried running in safe-mode as well, although this doesn't allow me full capabilities...
    The only thing that seems to be different is the issue with the Adobe Add-on and a recent Java update. Are there instabilities in these?
    How do I fix the issue with Adobe? I need to be able to upload, download, and view PDFs...
