TOLERANCE SETTINGS FOR BATCH/CHARACTER/CLASS

Hi gurus
A material with a alternate unit conversion like Kg and Pair, suppose material with 1 pair equal to 40kg as standard. We set a batch mgmt to this material,
Here i have to set a tolerance limit with +or - 8% reference to 40 kg.
Where i have to set the tolerance , help me out

Hi,
All material data is updated in the base unit of measure. The tolerances can be had on the Base unit of measure.
So, choose this unit carefully since an exact quantity can be expressed in an alternative unit of measure only if its value can be shown with decimal places. It is therefore important to observe the following two principles when defining the base unit of measure:
- The base unit of measure is the unit that provides the maximum precision necessary.
- Conversion from an alternative unit of measure to the base unit of measure should result in a simple decimal, not a recurring (or repeating) decimal.

How to set tagged pdf settings for batch process

Framemaker doesn't allow me to set tagged pdf settings without opening a file (i.e. *.mif/*.fm/*.book).We are using .MIF files to generate PDF in an automated process.( .MIF files will be sent to FrameMaker as a batch file using DZBATCHER then it it uses distiller to produce the PDF).
How can I set tagged PDF settings for this kind of operation?

Tagged PDF info is a document level property, i.e. you need to define it in the MIF. Check your MIF manual for: <DPDFStructure and <DPDFStructureDefined statements.
Note: If you're using any FM version earlier that FM9 and not the FrameServer version, please read your EULA very carefully (Section 2.2 - 2.4) concerning automated creation of PDF files. With FM9, the restriction apparently has been loosened to only how the process is intiated (Section 2.3).

Deck pre roll settings for batch capture

User library (By default hidden per OSX7, use menu go with option to reveal)/ Application Support / Adobe / Bridge CSxx / Batch Rename Settings. Inhere are the saved files with the extension '.setting'

But we had not chosen this option while configuring the EPM product, so I think email server doesn't require authentication as it might not be protected.
Can you please let me know what properties should be enabled on email server related to EPM system, as I have heared that anonymous authentication should be enabled on the email server?

Tolerance Limits for Class Character in Variant Configuration

HI all,
We are Using Variant Configuration, for this we have linked MIC's to Class character, When The Inspection Lot is created the Lower & Upper Limit in the specification comes as the character Value.it does not takes in to consedration the tolerance key assigned to it. For E.g. Charater Dia has value 20, & in the Tolerance key for 20 +/- 0.10 is maintained, when the Inspection lot is created the Upper & lower Limit comes as 20-20 instead 19.9 - 20.1
I have gone through SAP Note 210658, the sample code provided in note is for "Material Specification" I have tried the same with minor code correction the specifications in the lot comes as desired i.e. specifications in the lot consider the tolerance key.
Our Requirment is of task list, in the same not EXIT for task list is also mentioned but no souce code is provided, when we are using the above program (Used for Material Specification) after doing the desired changes, & when we run in de-bugging mode it shows all the calculations are being done, but finally in the lot specification appear as the charater value ( 20-20) & in the inspection lot One first MIC comes it delete's all other MIC's assigned in the Plan.
Has any body worked on this requirment, please let me know how to do the same, & if any body has used EXIT_SAPLQPAP_001 (Enhancement QPAP0001.)Plese provide me with the soution if any one has worked on it.

For batch class the class type value is '023' . This you can find from KLAH table and the fileld for class type is KLART..
And also all the data related to batch class are found in tables INOB, KLAH,KKSK and for the characeteristics of batch materials you can refer AUSP table.
In INOB table, for batch class, you need to give 023 in KLART field and value MCH1 in OBTAB filed.

How to use the scanner class to ask for a character?

Ask the user for a single letter and a sentence, and print out the
number of times that letter shows up in the sentence.
Please tell me how to scan for a character. I tried this:

He just needs to do a tiny bit of detective work to fix a small bug. After reading the post thoroughly I saw that the problem can be solved by taking the sentence the user enters and then converting it into a array of characters. Then searching for the specific letter the user enters is achieved by comparing it to each individual element of the char array. Then incrementing a counter variable each time a match is made. I hope this example code solve your problem.

Security settings for startup class

Hi,
I use WL6.1 (sp2) where the "guest" user is disabled and server starts up with
"system" user. All beans are permitted to be launched using other user "user1"
and not "system" user. And the jar file with beans and other staff is deployed
well, except of one thing:
I have startup class in the application and it doesn't work. When trigger method
is launched, the following exception is thrown:
<WispConfiguration: Can't connect to bean. No configuration avaiable java.rmi.AccessException:
Security violation: insufficient permission to access method; nested exception
is: java.lang.SecurityException: Security violation: insufficient permission
to access method>
As i understand this is the security problem. How could I configure weblogic
to make him to use "user1" instead of "system" when running startup class? Where
should I define it: in startup() method of startup class or in configuration files
of WL?
Any help/hint will be very appreciated.

Probably just as it says, DS_Store is corrupt. This stores the settings for a folder.
To see if we can find the invisible folder and remove it open Terminal in your Utilities folder and at the prompt copy and paste defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles True; killall Finder
If you can see the file now just delete it.
Then, switch back to visibles only and create a new folder called Startup Items.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles False; killall Finder
Or, simply creating a new Startup Items folder may be enough.

No request generated for batch status active/ inactive settings

Dear Experts ,
When is make the status "active " for batch in IMG , Logistics general , Batch management , Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management,Define Batch Status management , THE SYSTEM DOESNT ASK FOR A REQUEST .
Plsease tell em if it is ok for the system to NOT TO ASK FOR A CHANGE REQUEST ?
IF yes , please let me know if we need to directly make the above settings in the [production server ???????

Batch Changing SWF Publish Settings for Hundreds of FLAs?

Hi, I've updated action script for a huge number of .flas to AS3 but forgot to change their Publish Settings to Flash Player 10 and AS3. "MovieClip(this).stop" for example does not work in their swfs.
Is it possible to change these settings by batch processing all of the .flas at once? (Through a Mac Automator droplet or text editing the .flas, etc...or ___?)

You might be able to do this using JSFL, but I don't know exactly how. I'm looking at Extending Flash MX 2004 (which pretty much still covers JSFL today) and see the following methods.

I'm not finding a way to change the publish settings yet, but I'm sure they are in there somewhere.

I checked both of these transaction we need to select 3 option Characetrstics frm configuration(prio) and classification. I will check that, I had one more question
In PO VC configuration is called for class type-300 and in GRN VC configuration is called for class type -023. How it will fetch the variant class configuration to Batch class configuration?
Once we had faced some issues the copy from PO to GRN was happening for some batches & some batches it was not happening.
yes we have activated Mill Functions in our ERP box.
