Tomcat Admin Tool version compatibility

I currently have Tomcat 5.5.17 installed. I downloaded the Tomact Admin Tool for 5.5.x and did the zip extract it put the content into 5.5.25 level folders. Can I copy that content into the corresponding 5.5.17 folders or do I need to upgrade my version of Tomcat? I don't want to move 5.5.25 content into 5.5.17 folders and then find out that they don't mix and match.

  • Lastest RAID Admin Tool (Version 1.5.2b3) Download

I notice that I am running version 1.5.2b3 of the RAID Admin Tool on my Xserve running 10.6.8 (Server).
I went online because I wanted to download the latest version for my imac too but can't find any reference to that version.
Right now I am using version 1.5.1 of the RAID Admin Tool on my imac running 10.6.8.
I did also look on the 10.6 Admin Tools Install Disc but can't find it on the disc either
(I looked thoroughly and maybe I am missing something)
    Question 1:
Where can I find version 1.5.2b3 of the RAID Admin Tool?
    Question 2:
What is the most up-to-date/latest version of the Xserve RAID Firmware and where can I find it for download?
Thank you very much in advance for any feedback.
    Message was edited by: HiEd

Under Raid Admin if you select the components tab you should be able to see the current firmware version.
Acording to this article 1.5.1 comes with the latest firmware in a file version. You need to use raid admin to select the file and perform the firmware update.

  • Admin Tool - BI Server Different Versions???

I just stated working on a development project where I have the Admin tool loaded to my laptop and am connecting to a remote repository. My laptop is running Win7 and the Admin tool version is 10.1.3.4.2, the BI Server is on version 10.1.3.4.1
I am wondering if there are any known issues when using a newer version of the Admin tool compared to the BI Server. I am having some problems that seem quirky rather than outright issues, and thought it may be due to the version difference but not certain.
    Thanks
    J

In the other way, if you try to open a repository version 10.1.3.4.2 with an admin tool version 10.1.3.4.1, you will get a error message.
Normally, you have an ascendant compatibility and then the admintool version 10.1.3.4.2 can open and manage a repository version 10.1.3.4.1.
    Cheers

  • HT1822 Mac OS X server admin tools: non-server editions of Mac OS 10.6?

On my iMac, I am running the installation of OS X that it shipped with + updates up to 10.6.8.  I know there are server admin tools available on the Apple support website, that do stuff like manage groups.  I am looking for a GUI to look at ALL the users, groups, permissions, etc. (including hidden ones like _www for apache) on my system, without having to dig through config files in /etc and/or use the dscl command line utility.
The referenced article says I can find the 10.6 tools on Apple support downloads:
    Mac OS X Server v10.6
To administer Mac OS X Server v10.6, use the Server Admin Tools 10.6 on Mac OS X v10.6. You should match the version numbers of the server, tools, and admin workstation as closely as possible; for example, use Server Admin Tools version 10.6.8 on Mac OS X v10.6.8 to administer Mac OS X Server v10.6.8.
    My questions are:
    1.  Where are the 10.6 tools on the apple support website?  A search turns up versions for everything BUT 10.6.
    2.  Will the 10.6 tools work on 10.6.8 that is not a server edition of Mac OS?

The Server Tools you can download from Apple will install and run on OS X client, but they will only connect to and monitor OS X Server boxes.
So that won't get you where you want.
One command that will help you here - and which is present on OS X Server and OS X client - is dscl.
    dscl . list /users
    For details:
    info dscl
    or
    man dscl
    Or a web search, etc...

  • Can't log on to tomcat admin, HELP PLEASE!!

    Hi All,
I am trying to log into the tomcat admin tool but it just won't work. I have created a username and password in the tomcat-users.xml file but I still can't log into the admin tool can anyone help. PLEASE
    Howerd

This is really a question which should be directed to [email protected] mailing list.
What exactly is the problem? Unusual behaviour, error messages would be usefull.
Are you able to see the admin login screen?
When you created this user, did you add the admin role?
    <user username="admin" password="admin" fullName="Administrator" roles="admin,manager"/>

  • Version Admin Tool for Oracle BI 11.1.1

I have question about Oracle Admin Tool. I patch system version to Oracle BI 11.1.1.6.10 .
Which version Oracle Admin Tool will be proper for this version OBIEE server.

    Hi,
we've tried to synchronize application rooles from Administration Tool, but without any positive results. List of application rooles in EM/bifoundation_domain is different from a list in Administration Tool/Identity Manager/Application Roles. There aren't any errors in bifoundation_domain logs, but in weblogic domain logs we have many erros with the same description:
"Failed to get WLS users.". What could be the reason?
    Pzdr.

PS User filter settings affects only 'Users' card: if I set user fileter to "*", I see all users from LDAP provider, but this setting doesn't affect to Application Roles card...

  • Pls help me to find admin tool for latest bi linux version

    Hello,
    Oracle Business Intelligence, v. 11.1.1.5.0
I installed the latest version of OBIEE of linux version 64 bit on the server.
    Installation went fine.
Now the only problem is finding Admin tool.
Could u pls tell me where its sitting.
    I know i Windows it Admintool.exe
    Thanks

    Hi user,
Firstly you wont have admin tool for linux environment....you need to install the client on windows local machine and access the BI server of linux by setting up a connection.
So you need to download 64-bit or 32-bit windows one to install http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/downloads/biee-111150-393613.html
    Read this document :- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/bi.1111/e10539/c5_postinstall.htm#CEGEHEJF
    hope answered your question.

  • Mix differente version of admin tools with OS X system

I'm not pretty sure if admin tools can run on a different version of Mac OS X oprating system. For example, I was trying to run Workgroup manager 10.4.11 on Leopard 10.5.6, but it crashed when I changed to other location(Local/Search/Other...). Another example, I put Leopard 10.5.6 NetBoot image on OS X 10.4.11 server, but it doesn't work with diskless option one, client computer just freezs with gray screen. So I wondered if this is a priciple, run only the version of application is same as the version of OS X operating system. Any suggestion?

Point 1: try turning on "Show large images" in your preferences. In Acrobat for Windows, it's under the Page Display preferences. I'm not sure about OS X.

What features in 8.47 are availalbe? You can read the following documentation :
    http://blogs.oracle.com/peopletools/2008/04/peopletools_support_for_people_1.html
Peoplesoft application are supported with in all the Peopletools 8.4x, and even will be supported with in the coming Peopletools 8.50.
I would suggest you to go for the latest ones, Peopletools 8.49, since it is supported. As per my experience, PT8.47 was a very buggy Peopletools version. I would try to avoid it.
You could check the Peoplesoft on-line documentation (but didn't find any link to PT8.47 out of the GSC) :
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/psftent.html (for the latest versions)
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/psftarch.html (for the previsous versions)

  • OBIEE 11.1.1.7, Win 8, Admin tool not opening.

    Dear Experts,
I have recently installed OBIEE 11.1.1.7, on windows 8, 64bit, I3 processor and 6 GB ram configuration.
Installation is successfull, i can login all console,em, answers etc.
Only issue is Administration tool to manage to RPD is not opening. It just pops up the CMD windows and then stays there at it is.
    No further progress after that.
Could you please let me know, since it's in my home laptop, can i install OBIEE client separately in the same machine in which server is installed?
the whole installation seems to be useless if i can't edit RPDs.
    thanks.

I did a deinstall, and installed whole OBIEE 11.1.1.7 again. This i time noticed while installing it i had to run the installation wizard in compatibility mode.
And the windows version this wizard was comfortable was windows XP.
Also during installing it, at one of the initial stage it showed an error of operating system certification but i opted to ignore and continue with the installation.
It went through all the configuration steps too.
but again not able to find how to load Admin tool. I know for sure there is one condition in which the tool loads and works fine but not sure what is that.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

  • Tomcat administration tool

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me. Im new to tomcat and wish to adminstrate users on the server. http://localhost:8084/manager/html works fine but http://localhost:8084/admin does not. Does the admin tool have to be installed seperately and if so where can I find it? Im using version 6.0.18 and it was installed via NetBeans. I would be grateful for your help

Yes, admin application does not come by default. You need to download and configure it.
    Download jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9-admin.zip from [http://archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/tomcat-5/v5.5.9/bin/|http://archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/tomcat-5/v5.5.9/bin/]
