Tomcat and EJB will work?

Please let me know whether we can write EJBs in Tomcat and execute in the project?

Hi Kiran,
Tomcat alone is just a Web Server as mentioned in the previous post.
Go for App Servers like Jboss-Tomcat, Weblogic or Websphere.

Since my G5 died I was thinking about getting a Mac Mini, but I have a ViewSonic Monitor (from 2004) and a USB keyboard and mouse - I also have the external drive that I downloaded my files on to. The monitor will work if it has an HDMI, VGA ir DVI input. If it only has a VGA input you will need this adopter

My A'Extreme sometimes won't connect to my MacBook Pro even if I have a green light on the device . I can unplug the ethernet cable and reconnect and it will work fine. all diagnostics say there is nothing wrong. Any ideas ?
This is more about your modem then anything. Sometimes you'll need to unplug and plug back in your modem. Consider it a glitch from the ISP or just the modem in general.
when I need to turn something off then on I try the modem first. This when I'm not doing any ware and tare to the device. -
My PowerBook G4 says that it's connected to wifi, but it still no internet connection. The connection will work for a while, and then I'll have to run diagnostics and it will work again for a few minutes and then stop working again. What's going on??

Restart the computer = joy?

Restart the computer in Safe Mode = joy?
ask yourself "What changed immediately preceding the onset of the problem?" = Anything... hardware, software, cabling, environment (interference source)

It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

My Lightroom 4 wouldn't open. A computer tech worked on my computer to clean it all up, etc. however Lightroom still wouldn't open. He opened a new catalog and that will work, however I can't find my old one with all my photographs. When I click on open catalogs, it goes to documents and I can't find any catalogs there.
What happens if you try File->Open Recent? What happens if you have your operating system search all of your hard disks for files whose name ends with .LRCAT?

Have you personally tried those models with Brazilian LTE networks? Do they work? If so, fine. If not, then besides that, there is the problem of the warranty which is not international. The user will have to return the phone back to the country of purchase for both warranty and out of warranty service. So what might seem cheaper at first glance might not be in the end.
Anyways, it your money and the OP's should he want to go ahead with your recommendation. -
hi! i went to go slide the thing to unlock my iphone 4 and it wouldnt slide, it froze up and everything is not working. i tried plugging it in but it is still frozen and nothing will work. how do i fix this?
My recommendation is to restart the iPhone. All you do is hold down the top button and hold down the home button for 5 seconds untill it automatically shuts down. Then click the top button untill you see a grey apple on your screen.

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
the sound on my ipad is not working. It will work on and off and then cut out all together. Sometimes if I use the ear phones it will work for a while and then it will cut out all together

My Ipod screen in black and nothing will work
Its a 3rd gen ipod nano. I just took it off the charger and was watching a podcast, I then left it on the table for a second and when I cam back the screen was black.I tried to restart it but I won't work. I went on the apple site and did the 5r's, but nothing will work. The computer wont even pick up that I plugged something in it.
I don't have itunes 8.2, can that be the issue? I did try to instal it, but near the end it told me I didn't have permission for something and aborted?
Any ideas on what I can try to do to fix it? My warranties is up, and I rather not shell out the money for a new oneI have the same problem only with the 4g nano

Hi,
Some kernel extension or driver isn't loading properly, it seems. Try booting in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key down on startup until you reach the grey Apple backdrop with the spinning cogwheel and a progress bar. As soon as the progress bar shows up, you can let go of the Shift key.
Booting in Safe Mode takes a lo-ooong time, so be patient and don't interrupt (the computer booting, not me talking...). Once you've reached a workable Desktop, reboot in normal mode and tell us if it solved your problem. -
JDK1.3 + Tomcat and International Characters-- Working!
I am involved with a project that has people using a "command/ prompt" based system to enter data. Lets assume this is a simple java program that uses system.out. The data they are entering uses international characters such as the � character.and others. Now that the data was captured I wanted to display the data through JSP on a webpage. When doing so I ran into a problem where the � where translated into ?. Thus started the journey
After much research, and alot of trial and error I came up with the following Test JSP that finally works

When you do this you will see ��������� for the test string. By the way if you use Visual Slick you will see the characters properly as apposed to lets say note pad.
Putting this file in a jsp and runing it under tomcat 4.01 you will see the expected result mainly:
TEST: XX ��������� XX
As you can see though by the file the character set the jsp is set to use is cp1252 but the meta tag uses cp437.
which gives the desired effect of properly printing the characters as I would have hoped.
So here is my question:
Am I correct in assuming that the windows command prompt uses CP1252 as a character set (there for any dos / non-windows tool uses the same thing) and that Windows graphical ie notepad, and webpages uses CP437.
Since this seems to be correct. Is this the right way of doing this? Seems a bit hard coded. I have not tried this on UNIX or a unix based text browser but I suspect this will not work on them. What is the correct way to do this?
