Tomcat and NT

Question

Hi NG,
          I just installed j2sdk1.4.0_01 and Tomcat 4.0.4 on an WinXP machine.
          I did it like written in the running.txt file. the problem is they
          alwasy talk about something like $catalina_home
          But I don't know where to configure that tomcat stuff.
          When I run their command in the cmd:
          c:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\bin\startup
          It gives the following eror:
          -djava.endorsed.dirs- could not be found.
          Help would highly appreciated.
          I just looked at the tomcat docs, but the do not tell where to
          configure the $catalina_home stuff..

That means that you must create a .cmd or a .sh file that will call the
          setup for you
