Too confused -- what one should I ge
I've decided to take the plunge and get an MP3 player, and after doing a LOT of research, I've only succeeded in confusing myself more. From what I've seen, I like Creative players best, they seem to have a lot more to offer for less money than other companies. Plus, I think they're the cutest. But I just don't know which one to buy! I originally decided on the Zen Micro, but then changed my mind -- I'm mostly going to be using it for my 30 minute each way commute to work and I'm scared of damaging it on the train, and it might give me an incenti've to exercise more if I can use it for that, too. So now I'm caught between the MuVo Micro 52MB or the MuVo TX FM 52MB. I can't for the life of me figure out what the difference is between them, other than looks! Help? Or should I squelch my vanity, forgo the light blue color (which I'm craving), and spring for the GB model of one or the other? I'm don't need to fit thousands of songs onto the player and I tend to listen to the same songs over and over, so swapping music now and then wouldn't be much of a problem for me.
I just need advice, since my friends either don't have players or have Apple devices, so they're no use to me! Any suggestions are much appreciated!

If you're looking at using it with an "action" sport e.g. jogging, then arguably you should go for a flash player from the MuVo series.
Really the big decider is how much music you want to carry around, as the flash players have a lot less space than the hard disk based players.

Creative are releasing a bewilderign array of flash players at the moment, which have very similar (if not the same features). So don't be surprised if they are identical.

In fact after I had bought my DR8, I browsed the forum to see the most typical failures encountered by the users. I checked all the problem modes on my new DR8 to see it doing with no problem. What I could conclude from what I've read is that the problems' origin lies in the firmware flashing version and process. What makes me real curious is - when a product does what the product spec says, why one should risk and flash/update/whatever... to get more for the money? I don't think so.
Reading the forum problem posts I conclude the most of the problems are caused by that kind of "innovative" seeking of updates... -

You can use and buy the modules from different manufacturers but you have to ensure that you would use the 100% compatible and supported memory modules.
Of course its advisable to buy the modules recommended by Toshiba because in such case you can be 100% sure that these modules would be supported and the notebook would run troublefree.
Your notebook series is not known to me but I think you should find the compatible modules on the Toshibas Options & Accessories website:

I just brought home a mac book pro 13" with retina and the airport time capsule . What one should I turn on/ hook up first? We have an existing router in the home and an old PC.
Suggestions?Turn off you cable/DSL modem, your computer, and the old router. Disconnect the computer's Ethernet cable from the old router. Replace the old router with the Time Capsule. Connect the Ethernet cable from the modem to the WAN port on the Time Capsule. Connect the computer's Ethernet port to one of the LAN ports on the Time Capsule using an Ethernet cable.
Turn on the modem and wait until the status lights indicate connection with the ISP. Turn on the Time Capsule and wait for the amber light to begin flashing. Open Airport Utility in your Utilities folder to configure the Time Capsule.
If a user guide came with the Time Capsule I suggest you follow it's instructions. -

Confused about what I should do about my PC's declining performance.
I'm very confused on what I should about my PC's declining performance. My desktop computer is a HP Pavilion 20 All-in-one. The original OS was WIN 8, current OS WIN 8.1. I received my computer 11/8/13 and upgraded to WIN 8.1 just a few weeks later due to annoyance of it's pop-ups. The first installation of it failed but the very next day it installed on it's own and was successful. Not to long after that I began to have problems with performance. Lagging, freezes, blank or black screens, poor graphics and choppy audio and app crashes (which were solved under my HP warranty). A few months after the 8.1 upgrade I received a message in HP Support Assistant stating that my computer model was never tested with 8.1 and that could be the cause of my performance issues. The message also came with a compatibility scan which was of no use since 8.1 was already installed, and was recommended to either wait for drivers to become available or uninstall. I got tired of waiting so Dec. 2014 I did a refresh back to 8 and didn't reinstall the 8.1. I got back my computers excellent performance. Unfortunately that was short lived due to 8.1 automatically reinstalled it's self without an option to decline it, just a warning that in 2 days it'll restart my computer to finish the installation. That happened last week and now my computer is back to poor performance again. The audio is choppy (esp. when playing games), and after a few hours of use a humming sound starts, at first it's choppy (on & off), then it becomes constant. Also sluggish loading and lagging esp. of the mouse curser which happens on and off. I checked the task manager one day while that was happening and the Disk and CPU were turning red and going up to 100% and the Memory also spikes high but not up to 100 (in between spikes MEM stays around 30% maybe that's due to recent install of The Sims 4. Today I had a critical event happen with the Kernal Power and my computer restarted it's self. Those are the issues that I need help fixing but I also have questions that I hope can be answered here or get pointed in the right direction to an answer. 1) How or where can I get a straight forward answer to the compatibility of my computer with 8.1. When I had HP tech support I asked about the message I received from them and I was told to disregard the message because they are compatible. But after I refreshed back to WIN 8 the message came back and there was a note at the bottom of the page stating that the message could be old and possibly there are drivers available now. So I'm perplexed, if the two are compatible then why am I having the same problems that the message has listed as signs of incompatibility? 2) When I use HP Support Assistant to check for updates no downloads are available but when I use HP's website page software and driver downloads by product. It shows 10 downloads available for driver audio, driver chipset, driver grapics, driver network, BIOS, diagnostic, and software multi-media. Should I download all of them or do I need to check them out one by one to identify if they're old or new. 3) When my computer is idle why are background tasks performing scans that show on my action center icon but the stop as soon as the cursor is moved? and how can I identify which background processes & services can be ended or suspended to improve performance while playing high resource using games like The Sims 4? Audio device Realtek High Definition AudioI would suggest that you update your Windows 8 drivers to the Windows 8.1 version drivers.
I had a look and the Windows 8.1 drivers are all newer versions.
Start with the Chipset, then Video, then the others, but not BIOS [yet].
Reboot after each install.
If performance doesn't seem better after updating your drivers to the Windows 8.1 versions then I suggest you also perform the BIOS update that is also available.

You will need to set it up as a new phone, not from a backup, first. Then, after setup is complete, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and have at least 50% battery power. After then update downloads and installs, you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
This will let you go through the setup again, and this time you can choose your backup. -

Yes,, if you plan to connect the AirPort Time Capsule to the ASUS router using an Ethernet cable connection that will remain fixed and permanently installed at all times.
No, if you were planning to have the AirPort Time Capsule connect wirelessly and extend the Asus WiFi signal, since it would not be compatible with another manufacturer's router for that purpose.
Another way of saying the same thing here would be that if you want to extend the network wirelessly, it will take two Apple routers to do so -

Can I say one thing? The design of 3D is too confused!!! I know the drawing 3D and this new tools in Photoshop aren't simple, it's too difficult to understand
Photoshop's GUI for the 3d functionality has always been a bit of a bust. And slow, cumbersome, hard to control. Rendering quality remains a major headache (and slow as a snail crawling through mud). Texturing is a hassle, and the 3d viewport one of the worst implementations I have ever encountered.
Which is why I have always avoided it, and I prefer 3d applications such as Blender, Cinema4d, Max, Lightwave, and so on, for quality work. The 3d functionality in Photoshop is adequate for relatively simple 3d typography, and simple shapes. But even for that type of work I avoided Photoshop. -
