Too many messages in monitoring

My scenario is
FileSender -> BPM -> FileRecever && JDBCRecever
In Integration Engine monitoring I see 9 rows for 1 message!
1. FileSender -> BPM
2. FileSender -> BPM
3. BPM (Branched)
4. BPM -> FileRecever
5. BPM -> JDBCRecever
6. BPM -> FileSender (Acknowledgment)
7. FileRecever (no receiver)
8. JDBCRecever (no receiver)
9. FileRecever (no receiver)
Could you explain why are there 2 senders ( rows 1,2)
2 senders (rows 7,9) ?
Could you explain the existence of rows 7,8,9 without recever ?

> You are using fork step rite???
I am not using fork. It is a simple BPM with only receiver and send step.
> As i understand your scenario is sending the same message to a file and database
Yes. I understand a branching. But Why are there 2 pair of senders(1,2 and 7,9) ?

  • How can i fix imessage when my friends send me too many messages and it wont load

My friends sent me 92 messages on the same group message and iMessage won't load because there are too many messages. Is there any way I can fix it because I tried resetting all settings and it didn't work.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • What does this mean? The mail server responded: Too many messages. Please check the message and try again.

I use BT yahoo mail with Thunderbird 24.6.0 in the last few days i've started getting this message when sending messages:
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many messages. Please check the message and try again.
Now sometimes the messages are sent anyway and sometimes not. If I re-send sometimes it works and sometimes not. I've contacted BT 'tech support' who tell me there is nothing wrong with them or their servers and as webmail works ok they won't help. I strongly suspect it IS a BT issue, Any clues to fix this?

The message means BT are lying basically. I have just spent the best part of an hour on chasing what limits BT place on mail sending... the internet contains a void.
The closest thing I can locate is a BT rep here https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/E-Mail-message-limit/m-p/1045228/highlight/true#M17523 refusing to identify what limits they impose but advising their switch to critical path has more stringent controls. AFAIK Critical path is ca mail software solution sold by OpenWave Messaging http://owmessaging.com/
So your paying for a totally undefined service. Congratulations!

  • Mail slow down; too many messages?

Mail (4.4) has slowed down a bunch here. I click on an unread message and it takes a good 5 seconds (or more) to show the message and any pics in it. (most of the time it seems to display the wrong message for a quick spell, then go and wait on the correct message)
I do have 9 accounts (and 3 dead ones) Most IMAP and some POP. I do sync and also keep/move a bunch to the On My Mac section.
Is there a way to find the total # of messages in Mail? (not just a selected folder)
I might just go the mailSteward route and keep Apple Mail lean and mean.
    Message was edited by: Suds&Hops

I wish I could offer a solution ... I'm posting because I'm also suffering from brutally slow search in Apple Mail. I have multiple mailboxes with lots of messages using IMAP and POP with Gmail but must it really take (literally) a minute to type something into the box and get results? Even more frustrating, typing into the box is slow ... each letter takes 5-10 seconds to apppear!
I tried "vacuuming" my mailbox according to instructions I found online. That made it a little smaller but didn't help noticeably. My sense is that the indexing is screwed up or I simply have too many messages and it's choking on it.
I'd love anyone's input! I'm a recent convert (back) to Mac OS and I'm just not sure how to begin fixing this problem.

  • 421 4.4.5 Too many messages from this host last hour

Hi, we are in a migration process from a Kerio system to Exchange 2013.
Everything is working fine, except that we have been experiencing this error on the logs and the Exchange 2013 users are getting returned emails.
    The remote server is 10.10.10.85
Remote Server at 10.10.10.85 (10.10.10.85) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
19/12/13 7:21:57 p. m. - Remote Server at 10.10.10.85 (10.10.10.85) returned '451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "421 4.4.5 Too many messages from this host last hour." Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed.
Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate hosts. The last endpoint attempted was 10.10.10.85:25'
My question is, is Exchange rejecting the messages or is the other system telling Exchange to slow things a bit?

    To update this.
We found out that the other email system was configured NOT to accept more than 100 messages per hour from same sending IP.
Once we removed the configuration value from the other email system, all started working.

  • Error message -' too many messages'

    Hi,
Whenever I send an email, it seems to send ok, but then an error message appears saying 'too many messages' with error codes. I've noticed also that there are 'mail undelivered' returned emails which contain email addresses that I don't recognize - mostly these addresses end with suffix '.ru'.
    Any ideas what's going on?
    Thanks

  • Too many messages

I have a email java app that sends mail in a loop for all the email address that it has in a list, it's not multithreaded yet. What I am seeing is this exception:
    1. First it throws this error message:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 421 #4.x.2 Too many messages for this
    session
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.issueSendCommand(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.mailFrom(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.sendMessage(Unknown Source)
    2. When it comes to process next email address, it throws this error message:
    com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: [EOF]
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.issueSendCommand(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.mailFrom(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.sendMessage(Unknown Source)
    3. When it comes to process next email address that falls after the one in bullet # 2, it finally gives up and throws this message:
    javax.mail.MessagingException: Can't send command to SMTP host;
    nested exception is:
    java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.sendCommand(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.sendCommand(Unknown Source)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.issueSendCommand(Unknown Source)
Everytime this happens, this is the pattern as I described above. I am just not getting why this should occur. I was planning to make this application multithreaded, but now I am not sure what it will do.

Obviously your SMTP server is limiting the number
of messages you can send in a single session (connection).
If you control the SMTP server, you might want to change
the limit. Otherwise, you'll need to change your code
to disconnect occasionally and reconnect to send further
    messages.

  • Too Many Messages? Is MailSteward Answer?

As of yesterday, Mail will not download incoming mail from my ISP to my POP account in my computer. I have 3 accounts that feed through the ISP, and none is coming in. I have another account at gmail, and it is coming into my Mail inbox.
My ISP and AppleCare say that I need to delete mailboxes and reconfigure mail account manually. It is THE ONLY WAY, I am told. AppleCare says I have too many messages stored. Is that really true?
I have 10 years of messages, from 4 Macs, totaling almost 54,000 messages. If matters, breakdown is below. I don't want to lose these messages. I do search them daily for information, sources.
    Questions:
-I watched tutorials on MailSteward, both Lite and Pro. Looks good. Any advice or recommendations on it?
-Also read that could simply create Folder, say on Desktop, and drag and drop an entire mailbox. Then can search with Spotlight. Is it that simple?
-If I either archive with MailSteward or a drag-and-drop, I assume that my mailboxes will still be achived in Time Machine? Time Machine will then also backup my archive that I create. Would seem very safe to then delete in Mail, right?
    Thanks, Armando
    MAILBOXES:
    -Inbox (9/05 to present) 17,000
    -Sent 17,500
    ON MY MAC
    -Import Eudora
    -Inbox 11,000
    -Sent 8,000
    Total 53,500

The answers to those questions above is important to preventing unnecessary work, but the task that may be needed is outlined below:
As I said, the limits on Mail are only with respect to individual mailboxes -- they should be kept below 2 GB each. I have found Mail to be rather robust at handling a large data base, so long as you do not allow individual mailboxes to become Overstuffed -- see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1895
The document states it is for 10.4 and later -- the dimensional limits for mailboxes stated for 10.4 applies to 10.5 and 10.6.
If a mailbox has become Overstuffed then the index for all messages may or may not cause a message about not being downloaded, but this is an inaccurate statement when there is overstuffing -- in Mail 2.x and 3.x, overstuffing can be resolved by redistributing the files in the Messages folder of the the mailbox that is Overstuffed, and then forcing a reindexing of all mailboxes -- see the following about repairing the index overall:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mail/3.0/en/14019.html
If mailbox is not with some regularity rebuilt (using the Rebuild command) then that is one factor causing issues with the index. I say this is an outline because the methodogy for redistributing the xxxx.emlx files found in the Messages folder may or may not be obvious to you?

  • Inbox Problems - Mac Mail Slow due to too many messages (45,000+)???

I have more than 75.000 messages in Mac Mail (mobile me). I need all these messages and constantly refer to them - they stretch back several years. I use the search system in mail to locate the one I need, when I need it etc.
Recently I have noticed that mail is getting slow to download new messages. I have been watching the activity window and see that mail seems like it checks each message for flags/changes before downloading new mail.
I am running several Macs in several locations and need all my mail to be available on all machines - hence i se IMAP not POP3.
I am wondering if I can speed things up by moving and sorting the 45,000 messages in my inbox to folders etc. Yes? No?
Also, if I create folders, I assume that I should create these on Mobile Me (not 'on my mac')?
    Thanks for any advice!
Message was edited by: Nick Syrett

I think that sorting them out to folders on the server would help this.
In Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced what is your selection with regard to Keep copies of messages (and attachments) for Offline viewing?

  • Too many messages in mail

i'm using gmail on my phone, and when i initially set it up the phone grabbed ALL the emails i had on my mac, including the ones in the trash! is there a way to avoid this for the next time i sync my phone? also when i send an email on the phone i get a copy of the email i just sent. i have the cc: to myself option turned off. any ideas or suggestions for either or both problems?

Make sure you Mail Settings > Advanced is set to Recent mode. Then make sure the "Show" setting is at 25, instead of 200. This worked for me.
Gmail will download sent messages into your inbox, which is a bit of a pain. This is a result of Gmail's folder structure, which uses meta tags to organize mail instead of hard folders. If this is unacceptable, Y! or .Mac might be a better alternative since they use a hard folder structure. You can forward your Gmail to Y! and have Y! set up rules to organize what comes over.

  • I get following when I try to send an e-mail and its just happend: "too many messages. Please check the message and try again"

I use BT SMTP server and this just started today. Any ideas as I don't want to move to outlook

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:
*Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
*Restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode Windows 8], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-vista Windows Vista], [http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true" Windows XP], [http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564 OSX]
; If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.

  • Too many failed message tracking resquests via task in Exchange 2010 SP3

You can wait until iChatAgent disappears for the Activity Monitor before deleting the .plists
I am not sure why it will not let you Force Quit or rather confirm a Force Quit.

  • How do I reset the number of activations on Visio 2003 after getting a "too many activations" message?

I just installed Visio 2003 on a PC, and got the "we can't activate this app via the internet because you've installed it too many times" message. I went back to phone activation, but, of course, that's no longer available for this product.
How do I get the number of activations reset? Apparently you used to be able to do this by calling Microsoft, but what's the number to call? Or is there another way to do it?
I'm probably going to need to do it for my copy of Office 2003 also.

    Hi,
Microsoft has ended support for Office 2003 on April 8, 2014. This change will affect your software updates and security options.
Please contact your local customer service. Explain to the service (Human being) that you can’t activate Visio 2003 and the error message is “we can't
